It is unique, flavourful and worth coming back for (we went twice in the three days we were in the city!) The service was amazing! They are hopping busy but so friendly and willing to explain the menu item. The owners are all about locally sourcing the food so the perogies and sausages are handmade in the province! And they are passionate about making good food - there is nothing bad on the menu. The vibe is an upscale diner. Easy going and somewhere you will want to come back to. Perhaps in the afternoon to have a coffee and a homemade daily special donut??? Didn't get one of those this time.... Guess I know where I'll be stopping on my next trip to the city!

I got the War Pig ($15.5), my boyfriend got the Double Rink Burger ($12) with 2 slices American Cheese ($3) and Back Bacon ($2), a fountain pop ($2.75) and we shared Garlic Fries ($9) with 2 Mayo Dill ($2.5) sauces for dipping. My boyfriend really enjoyed his burger, he would return here again. A man of simple words The burgers are messy, so be prepared to use a bunch of napkins ! He was also very pleased about free drink refills. Our fries were delicious and had an extremely strong garlic taste. I think the fresh minced garlic was sautéd in oil and parsley, giving it such a strong and natural taste. Loved it. Especially because they made house cut fries! While the Mayo Dill was good, I only recommend getting the mayo dill if you get plain fries. My War Pig was phenomenal. It was a double stack of smashed beef using fresh chuck/brisket of a 80/20 % blend and I could taste it was good quality beef. This burger consists of side bacon, back bacon, bourbon bacon jam, LOADED with crispy fried onions, and topped with lettuce, tomato and mustard. Easily one of the best Smash Burgers in Saskatchewan. Wouldn't change a thing. They deliver on their promise of big flavors and generous portions, so you definitely won't leave hungry. All of the ingredients are high quality, fresh, and locally sourced. The lady who took our order was very friendly and provided excellent service. On top of that, the pricing was reasonable considering the portion sizes and overall quality. On an unrelated note, I wholeheartedly loved to watch Jurassic park while we had our dinner!!! I highly recommend this spot and everything we ordered. My only regret was that I didn't have room for a milkshake !

So let's see where to start....small Resturant in a strip mall. My husband and I wanted to get 2…read moredifferent sandwiches and split them so we could each try 2 different ones. I know the website says not to change the making of anything but, I can't have mustard. We ask to have the mustard on the side. We were told NO. I said "I can't have mustard. Can you please just leave it off?" I was told NO again. So, my husband and I looked over the menu to find something without mustard. We finally found 2 items. Then when they say spicy...they mean HOT. The spicy ketchup on the meatloaf is very hot and The smoked chipotle dip is very hot. I couldn't eat either of them and my husband, who has no problem with hot wings and fire sauce, could not eat them either. To sum up, we did not enjoy our visit. How hard is it to leave mustard off of a sandwich. I wish them luck...but it's definitely not for us.

The steak was cooked so good, I asked for them to cook it medium and they've gotten it done perfect. The service here is great and can't wait to go back and try their cheesecake.

We got 2 Meat Pizzas and 2 Veggie Pizzas: MEAT - Both totally delicious. Spicy Jerk Chicken obviously very unique offering! The Broadway was a staple yet delicious meat pizza with sausage and bacon.. and maple syrup?! VEGETARIAN - The 4Maggio was the most amazing cheese pizza that had HONEY on top! This has been a game changer and I can't believe more places don't put honey on top? Be warned, it does also have a truffle oil so you will get a bit of that flavour. I like truffle - my partner isn't the biggest fan. Vegetarian was simply loaded with all the good stuff! Artichokes, red onions, feta, red peppers. It was a solid pizza. Also with honey! Drool. You can also get some small little containers of oil to pour over your pizza that levels up your pizza.

I'm so glad we picked Hearth among 4 places in the downtown area. We walked up around 15:00 without a reservation on Sunday. It was busy on the patio but we were able to score a table in the shade over looking South Saskatchewan River and the promenade. Since our table was at one end of the patio, it was a great spot to people watch too. Everyone from the hostess and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We placed our orders quickly even though there were quick a few good options on the brunch menu. I had a traditional breakfast and a Saskatoon berry lemonade and my husband ordered yogurt & granola and a long black. When he had told me he would be getting a long black, I had to do a double take in the menu and there it was. I could count with one hand how many places in western Canada I had been to with long black or café allongé on the menu. I was impressed and he said it was very good too. My breakfast was scrumptious with 2 thick pieces of sour dough toasts, 2 plump sausage patties, 2 perfectly fried (with brown edges) sunny side up eggs and crispy and soft potatoes! I ate very slowly to enjoy every bite with my refreshing lemonade on the beautiful patio in a warm & sunny late Sunday afternoon.
