We love coming to this brewery when we are in YXE! We love that they serve their own beers but also other SK brews. The space is bright and gorgeous and staff are always friendly. Yesterday we opted for sandwiches. My husband loved his Rueben, after we heard from the sandwichdad on Instagram they have one of the best sandwiches in Saskatoon (the Rueben) and the jalapeño popper sandwich caught my eye which was perfectly balanced with the cheese and jalapeños. The soup was a perfect dip to eat with the sandwich or alone. I liked my flight of beers I had as well and noticed a happy hour from 2-5pm on some days of the week that looked appealing. read more

It is a great place , with a great variety of beers. Amy , the manager, who is very courteous and profesional gave me a nice tour around the pub of two nice floors with beautiful decor in real old original and new pieces of wood. Highly recommend the beer CERVEZA which is so delicious and original. Jeremy , the bartender , is a real profesional young gentleman who guide us to select our beers. Culinary is exquisite and we had the charcouterie, chicken lollipops and pickle eggs.... is a very memorable place ....we will love to go back again , because Saskatoon will be always in our heart. I really enjoyed eating here for lunch. I went here on a Saturday and it wasn't very busy around 1130. It got busier right after I had arrived. Lots of seating in this restaurant. I ordered a flight and enjoyed the servers recommendations. So don't be afraid to ask! It was $12 for the flight and it was a good amount for one person. I didn't have a big appetite during this time so I just ordered their chicken salad sandwich. It was so delicious. I loved everything about it. I'm sure they have great dishes that are more popular as well, but this chicken salad sandwich is something I'll miss about Saskatoon. Haha. Overall great atmosphere. It is an interesting Brewhouse on the restaurant strip. Kind of a warehouse feel, but has high ceilings and big windows which makes it feel airy. Casual Dining. Wood seats and tables. Comfort food mostly. Very good beers on tap. The toffee porter was amazing! Had the quinoa salad bowl with salmon. The salmon was good but the quinoa had an off taste and the Caesar part of the salad was watery. Tip: stick to the basic comfort food here. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. The business has moved to Broadway Ave. Parking on side streets and in Impark lots near by. The food and beverages are very good. Lots of locally sourced items on the menu. The decor is very lake cabin meets industrial. I've been twice the first time I was incredibly amazed by the service and overall atmosphere. There was a good mix of people but it's primarily a hipster type place. The second time I was there I felt like an unwanted extra at a private event. The ownership did not inform the public of a very intimate performance from a well known local artist. The venue was primarily friends and family of the artist and we were awkwardly seated in front of the artist while friends and family stood to watch the performance. There was a person going table to table asking for funeral donations. It was very awkward and uncomfortable. Had I known about the performance I would not have attended this night. I was expecting to have a good time with family and the mood quickly changed from fun to depressing, sad and uncomfortable. My condolences to the artist their friends and family. I wish the intimate performance was either a private event or at the very least advertised better so that I wouldn't have been made to feel so awkward. The gender neutral washrooms are a nice touch but not efficient. The line up was long and more traditional washroom setups for a venue this size, especially on busy nights would be beneficial. I will try this establishment again because it is locally owned and serves beverages made locally. read more

My girlfriend and I are so happy Prairie Sun has the kitchen up and running again. The new chef is outstanding! We had his hot dog sliders and smoked burger, and both were knocked clear out of the park. The burger is one of the best in this city. Couple that with the finest beer in Saskatoon (Toffee 5, Moonkin, Moosetracks, and White Blaze are all phenomenal) and a pet friendly environment on select days, and the brewery will never get rid of us at this rate! read more

This seemed like a unique place until we started to eat the food, it was disappointing at best. The beer was also a little worse then I expected and tasted yeasty and was over carbonated leaving me belching more then necessary. This place isn't very good. The layout is poorly done and the restaurant furniture is ghetto. It honestly looks like some guy built it in his backyard. And the food there is horrible and overpriced. The artichoke dip smelled like dirty feet as my wife put it. They make you serve yourself and they charge allot for what you get. I have been in the hospitality industry for over a decade and I can tell you this place needs a complete overhaul from the staff to the rafters. Even though the craft beer is good, the concept is wrong. Look at a the other craft breweries in the area guys and redesign everything. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more
