The ambience is generally quiet and peaceful; there is seating for around 30. Staff are competent and friendly and happy to accommodate. Four stars because five might be more appropriate for a high-end place. The Boxcar does not pretend to be what it isn't, but does breakfast and lunch very well, at modest prices. Definitely worth several return visits. And no, I'm not given to hyperbole...
