Visiting Saskatoon, after doing some research I saw that the perogies here were amazing! This place is also a drive through for people who don't want to go inside. Once I got to the store I ended up getting the combo which included 5 perogies and a sausage with dill sauce and boy this was awesome!! I ate these so fast and with the bacon, onions and sour cream, the combination was DELICIOUS!! read more

Wow.... food is really good. Dine in or get your frozen to heat up at home. Their homemade mushroom and dill gravy is a great add on to the perogies. The cabbage rolls are a bit small and mainly rice filled. For combos... prices are good. Smokies are their sausages. read more

This place is amazing. First of all, their food is delicious and a STAPLE for anyone who wants to have authentic and amazing Ukrainian food. But secondly, their service is second to none. During the Covid-19 pandemic, my family ordered our Easter meal from their frozen food selection and they had free delivery. I told my parents and of course they placed an order as well - but my mom called ahead to ask that the delivery person not come to the front door due to an unsafe amount of ice that had accumulated from their faulty eavestroughs. Being seniors, they had not been able to chip the ice away (It was several inches thick)... But Rob showed up to deliver, found their ice chipping tools, and proceeded CHIP IT ALL AWAY. ALL OF IT. My mom has no idea how long he was out there. But he did it and she only noticed because she heard some noises at once point just as he was finishing up. This is what the world needs. People like Rob. SUPPORT THIS LOCAL BUSINESS. They are so amazing and the food is unreal. read more

I wish I could review Baba's Perogies with a thousand stars!! Their perogies and cabbage rolls are the BEST in Saskatoon (being an old Ukrainian, I'm a pretty good judge), and their service is WAY, WAY beyond anything I have ever seen! They were closed because of covid-19 but made free deliveries for Easter orders. We will now have a wonderful Easter, despite being in isolation. I asked them to leave our order by the garage because I couldn't break the huge block of ice on the sidewalk by the front door (my husband has a bad hip and can't help), and I didn't want anyone to fall. Instead, Rob from Baba's chipped and shoveled away ALL the ice! I heard him outside and couldn't believe it when I opened the door! I don't know how he did it- the ice was so thick!! Rob is the very personification of Christian service. He has the soul of an angel, and is a true hero!! I can't thank him enough!
