Came in today and was told how all 4 sensors needed to be replaced and my front tires needed to be replaced. Alex helped me out so much with being able to get all 4 sensors, and to get my two front tires replaced! I had never received incredible customer service at a tire/auto shop ever! Had an appointment scheduled weeks out to get a punctured tire patched -- rear passenger side…read more Simple job. Show up on time and the rep (Robert) immediately says he won't repair it. I push back and ask him specifically which puncture is actually causing the leak. He starts checking and finds out the one near the sidewall isn't even the issue -- it's the other punctures. So now the original reason to refuse goes out the window. Then he pivots. Goes over to my front driver side tire -- completely different axle, opposite corner of the car -- and says he won't service my vehicle because of the condition of that tire. Points to a specific line in their internal policy: "2/32 Inches or Less." I read it right there in front of him. That row describes what they can and can't do with a tire that IS itself at 2/32" -- it says nothing about refusing to patch a completely separate tire on a different axle. He misapplied his own policy. Also worth noting: that same policy line has a green checkmark under "Inflate" -- meaning by their own chart they'd inflate a 2/32" tire but won't touch a perfectly separate tire on the other side of the car. Make it make sense. I asked him to put the refusal and the reason in writing. Wouldn't do it. Just kept pointing at the policy -- the same one that doesn't actually back up what he was saying. And here's the part that gets me -- if it's a safety issue, why'd you let me drive off? No waiver, no documentation, nothing. Just sent me on my way with the puncture still in the tire and the "unsafe" tire still on the car. That's not a safety call, that's a sales call. Posting the policy photo so you can read it yourself. I had my tires replaced by them, and they offer free rotations and balancing so don't pay anyone else to do it. (Tesla charges $65) I also purchased the tire certificates so in case of road hazards my tires are covered for free repairs and replacements which I think is a no brainer. This location's staff is my highlight- they're so friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! I bought a used tire as he was…read moreinstalling it I pointed out some damage to the wall of the tire he said no it's ok. I asked him the year it was made he said 2021. When I got home I did some research in under BPC § 9889.30(a)(2), the law outlines explicit criteria for what defines an "unsafe" used tire. Damage to the wall of the tire is top of the list. This is a misdemeanor. I also found out that the tire was made in 2010, the life span of a tire is 5 to 10 years. This is gross negligence and incompetence by the mechanic and the shop. I after a day of calling and leaving messages and no call back I finally got a hold of Mr Gonzalez he issued a refund on 08/06/2026. It has been sitting as pending and today 08/11/2026 there is no refund he cancelled it. These guys are plain crooks!
