Huge burrito! Great service and it was super quick. The salsa was super good! The burrito was probably the size of my arm

A family staple. We eat here at least twice a month and I've eaten here since I was a teenager. The plain cheese nachos are a hit with us and the veggie burrito/ super chicken burrito. Love all the people who work there they are always friendly and efficient! read more

Found a maggot in my burrito today. Was eating, opened up my burrito to remove the cheese even though I asked for no cheese, there was a piece of rice moving on my table and that's when I realized it was a maggot. I was disgusted. I checked online at the health inspection and in February 13th they marked that meat was not being properly stored and cooked and were also not labeled correctly. In Feb 24 they passed but it seemed like they are not properly maintaining their food again if my burrito had a maggot in it. read more

While close and convenient, I'm done. These people are COMPLETELY incapable of doing an order correctly. You get home and it's literally never what you ordered read more

Been coming here since I was a kid! Burritos are amazing every single time! I recently had some of the ground beef tacos (had never had them before cause I usually don't stray from a burrito but man I was so HAPPY to try them). read more

Cold. Nasty. Not authentic, cheese never melted, no flavor. I don't know what to say but this is the most incompetent Mexican restaurant that I've ever been too. Just disgusting. So yourself a favor and find another Mexican restaurant. read more

To the Manager / Owner: I have come to this location on Plumb Lane, Reno, every week for the past several months. I go inside and have always ordered the Chicken Burrito to go. Yesterday, January 17, 2024 at about 11:00 am, I went inside and I ordered the same Chicken Burrito as always, and when I got home, I live in Sparks, 9 miles each way, from this location in Reno. I found out that this was NOT a chicken Burrito , but some other kind of Burrito, which tasted absolutely AWFUL, and after two bites I ended up throwing it away, since I live so far away to bring it back. I called up the restaurant and spoke with a young man that works there and who has seen me almost every week ordering the Burrito, and told him of what happened and I had thrown it away and I lived pretty far. All he said was that he was sorry about the mishap. Next day I happened to be in Reno again and I stopped by the restaurant and talked to the same young man I had spoken with over the phone, he remembered the conversation and I asked him for a customer courtesy due what had happened for replacement Burrito, he said he could NOT do that, due to the restaurant policy that requires for me to bring the original food back first. This guy never mentioned over the phone that I needed to do that, and he knew I told him I had thrown the Burrito away because I lived too far away to bring it back, yet he insisted that was the policy of the restaurant. I asked to speak with the Manager but apparently she was out. This is about the worst Customer Service anyone could ever receive. I have been coming to this restaurant every week for several months, they know me, and they are incapable of extending the obvious customer service required to keep their customers happy for a mistake they actually did. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

I can say that I really wanted a Chile Verde Burrito! Omg the line for drive thru was crazy. I decided to put my mask on and go inside and order! I went inside and was able to order my Chile Verde Burrito. It as a quick transaction and all was good! Burrito was fantastic as usual and that's all I have to say! The staff on the inside was very nice and you can see they are definitely COVID compliance ! Thank you read more

Grade food good service they give u good food and the service is great really good portions

Gross. Shredded beef is boiled, over-cooked and under salted. Cheese in the plain enchiladas wasn't even melted. They charge extra for refills and extra salsa too, poor experience overall. read more

I've been going to super burrito for over 10 years at least and sad to see how downhill it has gone. The food used to be fresh and they used to load you up with Salsa. The burrito I got today was decent at best. The real nail in the coffin for me was that they only give you 1 salsa and anything in addition is .35. That's just crazy for a burrito place. It's not even the money it's the principle to me. This is beyond greedy. El pollo loco is right down the street with a burrito that is just as good if not better. They also do not charge for salsa I went there last week and they gave me 3 for one burrito without asking read more

For so many years I have frequented Super Burrito for the simple fact that all the food there, especially the super burritos are perfectly healthy! They aren't greasy and over powering to the taste buds and are just simply delicious. The red mild salsa is to die for, and in my opinion is what actually makes the meals at this establishment. Never an issue until and bear in mind that I hadn't been to this particular location (Reno, Plumb Lane) in probably just shy of a year. I generally frequent the Sparks Nugget Ave location for too many reasons to mention, but mostly bc in general they are simply 90 times friendly and always smile. I didn't get a smile from the cashier at the Plumb lane location, a thank you yes, but only bc I tipped. So I place my order, 4 Chicken Super Burritos all w the guac on the side and 1 extra salsa per burrito bc after all it is a Super Burrito, isn't it?! To my astonishment I was told that there would be an up charge for any additional salsa beside the 1 measly salsa per food item. Like what? I'm not ordering a regular tiny child size burrito, I'm ordering a SUPER burrito, which is an extra large size in the entire scheme of things! That should equate to at least 2 salsas any 1 person would assume! Yeah, not so much here! The Glendale Ave location has never, not one time in the entire history of my goings there ever, never ever said a thing about asking for 1 single additional salsa, not once! In fact they generally give u as many as you ask for! On top of this the Reno location is also nearly $2 more per burrito and many other items on the menu, than my beloved Sparks Super Burrito. What I should've done is pulled the $5 tip right outta the tip jar and paid for the extra salsa with that! I should have, but didn't bc after all I'm not a monster! In addition I purchased a horchata bc any good Mexican meal desires a good authentic drink w it, and the damn thing tasted literally like watered down fat free milk w a bit of sugar added to it! Just another corner this place has decided to cut! And all at the expense of the customers! Bottom line, although I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner that evening, not ever will I return to the Reno facility ever again! You've lost my business permanently Reno Super Burrito, stop being so cheap! read more

I've been eating here since I was nearly 2. Literally my mother came to Reno and started eating here (bringing me the crying baby). Although I was too young to Yelp back then, I'd still give them a 5/5 if I went back in time. The food is always tasty and hot. The portions are huge. If you don't believe order a super burrito! For less than $6 (before tax) you can fill up on a gigantic super burrito. I've never had a bad experience here; they're so consistent, from delivery time to the way their salsa tastes, it's all good. Give em a shot! P.S. they've got a drive through if you're quarantined. ;) read more

Super Burrito - Super taco time - Mexican Near Me - Reno, Nevada

Hate to say it, this is one of the worst burritos I've ever eaten. Very Over salted and almost non palatable. I hadn't eaten all day and still could barely finish one of these burritos. Service and everything was great. Burrito was just terrible. read more

I have been eating these burritos my entire life, and there is no equal. I'll admit, they had a rough patch in '08 when they swapped to a cheaper refried bean mix. It was bad, everyone pushed through it, and they swapped back once the economy got better. Today I was eating one of their chile verde burritos and found a piece of bay leaf in there. Think about it - if you find a bay leaf, then you KNOW they make that stuff fresh back there. Go, get yourself a chile verde burrito, and never look back. read more

This place is disgusting. It was dirty in side, the burrito i had was not wrapped right, the ingredients were not consistent and taste bad. My quest for a good burrito in Reno will continue. read more

This is the best of the Super Burrito's, for sure. This place is great when you're in the mood for something cheap and fast. However, it can be a roll of the dice. Sometimes, the burritos are cold. Sometimes the burritos are mostly cheese, (which is probably why they are cold). Sometimes you order crunchy tacos and you get soft tacos instead. So, if you're not too particular and perhaps like to gamble, this place works. When it's great it's great, when it's not, it's not. read more

Super Burrito - Mostly cheese in this cold burrito! - Mexican Near Me - Reno, Nevada

Super burrito was the best local mexican food in Reno up until about 2020 and now the food quality is poor at best. I have been going to SB since I was a kid so I write this with a heavy heart. I will not be eating at SB again. I regret giving them one final try today. The food was cold and the order was wrong again. read more

Disappointing decline. Nachos made with cold/unheated canned cheese and unmelted shredded cheese (also cold) sprinkled on top. Bean burrito lukewarm in stale tortilla. read more

The food tasted like I heated up a frozen burrito. Service wasn't nice. And the inside looked like it was once a Burger King joint. I will not be going back to this dirty place again. read more

I would normally say that the Super Burrito (Plumb Ln) s a good place for lunch but I won't be back after today. I ordered two super burritos one with chicken no guacamole and one hamburger with everything. Dropped my wife's chicken burrito off at work (it was marked). Came home to eat the other. It was mostly rice and a little chicken. The person who made them obviously didn't make the super chicken with everything (except guacamole) and then mislabeled them! How hard is it to make and label a burrito?? In these days of covid you would think they would try to get it right... not today!! read more

When we're looking to fill up on Mexican food in a hurry, Super Burrito does it right! Ever since I went there when we first moved to Reno 8 years ago, I get a craving for Super Nachos a couple of times a year and have to get over there! We usually get it to go and the drive through is super handy and quick. The staff has always been super friendly and efficient every time I go! I'll admit the food isn't anything fancy and occasionally a bit on the bland side (which is actually ok for my kids who don't like their food too spicy), but it's fresh and they give you a ton of food at a great price! I've even eaten my Super Nachos in their parking lot so that the queso and refried beans don't make my nachos soggy before I get home! Their burritos are huge and my wife loves their tostadas. A Reno staple that hits the spot for quick, filling Mexican food at a great price! read more

I have been there 3 times because I know the owner. The first time my hubby and I ordered a steak nacho. There was water in the bottom of the contact which made all the chips soggy. The cheese and steak had absolutely no flavor. The second time I went through the drive thru. I ordered a Super Burrito to share with my hubby after work. I like hot sauce so unfolded the burrito to find no meat. It had a teaspoon of meat on one end to fool you then the entire rest of the burrito was rice only. I was absolutely shocked at the fraud. The 3rd time a friend took me. He was 6'3. I ordered nothing and watched him eat his tiny portion. He says he won't come there again. Integrity is a big part of your business. This restaurant was sorely lacking. Very sad. read more

Love coming to Super Burrito for lunch! The super burritos and the wet burritos are delicious. With chicken, beef or pork! They also have a really good tortilla soup. The location isn't too bad off Plumb Lane. Sometimes it's difficult leaving if you need to turn left down Plumb when the traffic is heavy. The staff is nice and usually remember me now when I come in. They do charge for extra salsa but it's delicious. The dining room part is a little outdated. But it offers tables in a casual setting to grab a quick bite. Recommend! read more

Super Burrito been around a long time, constantly serving great authentic Mexican dishes. Using quality ingredients at affordable prices. I realize it's a fast food restaurant. But it's certainly has a family owned and ran company it always exceeded my expectations. Probably my favorite of all fast food spots. Easy to recommend as I have confidence my friends will get the same quality Mexican dish with the great service I've know for years read more

Super Burrito - Always great Mexican Fast Food - Mexican Near Me - Reno, Nevada

Always a reliable go-to when I'm in the mood for something quick and delicious to eat. The lines are always way to long and it takes a while to get your food, but it's worth it. We always get the shredded beef super burritos. You just can't go wrong. The nachos are ok, but not a big fan of the processed cheese. It's a little deceiving because they put fresh cheese on top. read more

Super Burrito - Drive-thru menu! - Mexican Near Me - Reno, Nevada

Picked this up on my way out of town, was looking for something quick in the area I was in. Drive through was loaded which was a good sign to me that the locals liked it. Went inside & ordered a chile relleno burrito, it came out fast & was delicious! Great beans, great salsa (got the hot), would definitely go again next time I'm in town read more

Love super burrito, great location and easy to find. Great food. We had the Super Burrito wet and split it and was not able to finish it was so big. Will definitely be back. The service was good. read more

Have been going here for years, they know my whole family. The service was always spotty but the food was amazing! The last 2 times I've gone I received the wrong order, both times I called to find a resolution. They asked me to come back with my order, makes sense but I am 30-35 minutes away at work. I asked for a voucher or coupon for my next visit, they refused without proof. No refund issued without proof of mistake, will not rectify in any way. It's a $6 burrito, at this point it's the principle. "Maria" (name given) answering the phone was quite confrontational and not helpful at all. Check your order, not just the writing on the wrapper but the actual burrito. Look in the to-go container, double check everything. Unfortunately, they are no longer my choice for weekly family taco/burrito dinners. read more

My husband got the Super Burrito and it was meh, nothing good and nothing bad, just decent. Spicy salsa was good, chips could use salt, guac was good but pretty thin. I got the cheese enchilada which was good and a chicken taco which was super meh and brought down my combo plate significantly. Cheese was just tossed on, half taco was tomato, 1/3 lettuce, some shredded canned chicken. They have their own parking and drive thru and are allowing dine in for COVID with tables closed here and there for social distancing. Food was fast and staff were nice, but mexican food is cheap and lots of places in Reno so we wouldn't come back. read more

I love this place! Always get the Carne Asada burrito and it is fast and fresh. Excellent value for your money. Not sure what all the fuss is about salsa. I always get it even though I don't ask for it. read more

literally the best california burrito I've ever had I get it at least once a week after work it's so so so good keep it up

This place is the best and food is delicious and they are always consistent and that makes me very happy. This place is so good.

My husband went to super burrito ordered a super burrito a taco and a quesadia. The staff were very rude to him, he requested extra onions when the supervisor told the girl to put more onions on she did but as soon as the supervisor walked away she took the onions off like she could use them for something else. There is more cheese on this burrito than anything else. Same with the taco. When my husband asked for the little cups of green and red salsa she threw them in the bag, when my husband asked if they were going to spill that way she pushed the bag at him and said goodbye. My husband went to the one on plumb because he has had horrible experiences at the 1 on Mayanne. Perhaps they have an issue with white people. We will not be patronized super burrito again. read more

I have tried this place several times and am not impressed. The carne asada is dry/tough and the tortilla hard. I asked for 3 salsas to go after spending $12 on my burrito and tea and the lady told me she could only give me 2! Really, can't even pay for an extra salsa? You have officially lost met business. I hope you thing of your customers in the future. read more

Okay - first of all - 17 years in Reno, and I've never been here. We were doing a company event and I called and asked if they could do a variety of 30 burritos and they said "of course!". The menu is simple but has a variety of items on it. I just ordered a few of everything and they were ready when I arrived. Very nicely packaged, and labeled. People love these burritos of that I'm certain. They converged on the box before I put it on the table :) For my taste personally I like my burritos a bit messy in the middle. Don't scrimp on sour cream and guac for me. I don't like beans so got one without. I'm more of a burrito bowl person I think. Anyway - I'll be going back to check out the menu a bit more. The restaurant is clean, the parking lot is huge, the employees friendly and prices are excellent. There was a line at the drive thru 5 cars deep at 3pm on a Friday - this place is very popular! read more

I ordered a super burrito. It was barely warm. As I ate the burrito I noticed it was so full of rice and very little meat and I mean very little. I ate half and stopped because of all the rice. The next day after work I took the burrito back and opened the last half in front of the manager. It was 95 % rice five small pieces of meat and four diced pieces of tomatoes and a table spoon of beans. The Manager seemed to think that was ok. Shame on her. She gave my monies back and told me not to come back. A three star rating for a restaurant is not good! read more
