Not bad for a little place along Lakeshore. I used to stop in here from time to time when I felt like a burger, as I went to school close by. There isn't much in the way of decor. Just a small counter to order at, and a separate counter to eat at, enough room for like 5 people. The burgers are pretty good. Always well cooked, with a nice texture. They're slightly on the bland side, but the condiments easily help with that. The poutine is decent too. I like their choice of fries. The wait for food isn't usually too bad. The guys behind the counter are alright too. Super Burger isn't gourmet or anything, but it's good and cheap. Don't expect to spend more than 10 bucks (unless you really go all out).

This place is a gem. The bacon cheese burger was amazing. It has that homemade taste to it. The patties are house made as I asked. Prices were cheap! Definetly will be back!

Classic street corner burger joint.

The texture alone…read moreimmediately brings back memories of what McDonald's would've tasted like back in the day, but with a noticeably more premium touch in both presentation and execution. This is the kind of place you go when you want to step away from overly fancy burgers and just enjoy something classic that works. I ended up trying most of the lineup, and honestly, there is not a dramatic difference between the Automatic with Cheese, Bacon Cheese Automatic, and Golden State. The builds are fairly similar, which is not a bad thing, just something to note. The standout for me was the Hotomatic with Cheese. The hot pepper slaw had more heat than expected and added a real kick between the patties that made it memorable. If I had to recommend just one, it would be either the Automatic with Cheese or the Golden State. Both are clean, balanced, and hard to mess up. My biggest obsession here is the fries cooked in beef tallow. There is something about them that instantly brings back the taste I remember from childhood. If anything, I just wish they came in a larger portion. One small letdown was the Bacon Cheese Automatic. While the burgers overall feel thoughtfully assembled, the bacon felt oddly disconnected, almost like it was added as an afterthought. Instead of blending in, it stood out with sharp saltiness and threw off the balance a bit. That said, this place does exactly what it sets out to do. Simple, nostalgic, and executed with care. I will gladly be back.

Like the fact you have 3 options for buns - Brioche, Sesame and Poppyseed. Overall though I found the burger just average. Meat was ok but bit bland tasting imo even with the Acme sauce on it. - Grilled Chicken - added mushrooms to this sandwich. Chicken was a good portion size but just average again imo. Chicken Acme sauce has some kick to it vs the burger version. Service (3.75/5) - Server at front was friendly, however was a bit on slow side getting the orders. Atmosphere (3.75/5) - it has this classic burger joint feel to it with bright colours and clean overall. Parking can be tricky if it's busy with limited spots. Overall (3.75/5) - it's a perfectly fine burger joint however nothing really stood out for me food wise. They seem to be busy enough and have been on this corner for a few years now.

This place is old Etobicoke architecture, in stark contrast to the shiny new condos, Scotiabank, and Farm Boy across the street. But I'd be lying if I said I don't have a soft spot in my heart for classic Toronto buildings, so in I went. The decor is funky retro dinerish. From seeing the ATM as the first thing before the counter started, and the fact the guy before me paid in cash, I intuited that this might be cash only, although I didn't confirm that since I actually had some of the folding stuff on me. A cheeseburger, small chocolate shake and French fries set me back $17.05. Not cheap, but not too much more than other fast food in Toronto. From what I saw from the other orders in front of mine, they have a wide menu selection including grilled chicken, steak, and veggie burgers. Also, the bacon they were adding to other sandwiches looked tasty too! The cashier was pleasant and the sandwich assembly line was efficient, and soon I was sitting down with my meal. The place was constantly busy while I was there. The fries were really good. Crisp but fluffy, not greasy, and unsalted, because as an adult, I could pick up one of the provided salt shakers and choose where I wanted my blood pressure set as opposed to the chef deciding for me. I actually didn't add anything because they were so good plain. The burger looked like someone had used ground beef and not a liquid slurry. It was passable, a very clean flavor. It sounds hypocritical to say I would have liked a bit more salt in the burger, but, well, guilty. But I appreciated the homemade feeling of the texture, a nice chew without being rubbery. And the bun was nicely toasted too. The shake came from a shake machine, and tasted exactly like that. Nice and thick, nothing special, but it hit the spot.. It's not a destination location by any means, but if you're in the area and looking for a burger, this is a fine choice.

I'm sure this isn't helping the repeating the order? "the music is too loud?" I was waiting for the food, the music wasn't turned down, and the whole situation was overwhelming and made me so irrationally angry The food which was brought home because of the obscene noise levels was less then average, nothing special to write home about. So I left this restaurant, with ringing ears, angry over the overall experience, and nothing redeemable from a taste standpoint. for context as well, I've been to concerts that have been quieter then this experience Won't be back, absolutely save yourself the experience

It's a genuine smashed burger. My first bite of the meat that went outside the bun had me worried that it was overcooked, but it ultimately was just that piece as the rest of it was good and what you'd want from a smash burger. I got a double - which I'd recommend since the patties are on the somewhat smaller side, and really loved the burger. The fries were surprisingly average to my taste. Cut similar to McDonald's, but I didn't find they had much taste and were quite oversalted. Actually, they were very oversalted. I imagine that was a mistake on whoever was doing fries and otherwise they would be average but passible fries. But someone preferring thin cut may feel otherwise. My wife really enjoyed her strawberry milkshake. It doesn't look like it's from ice cream, but rather a cream base that they put in a frother for quite a bit of time. That also held up the order since there others had ordered shakes too, but ultimately it was a very good shake and can't hold that against them. It definitely came out nice and light.

They have decent amount of burger selections, all pretty mouth watering. Got the Firefly with an extra beef patty ($6). Located inside a butcher shop the place is really small and looks like it shouldn't be there at all. The prices on the menu is quite expensive like come on it shouldn't be price that much you're located in a butcher shop. It's not like you're paying a lot on rent. Anyways came by here because TOP GUN as a whole was celebrating their 4 year anniversary and they had a promo for their HELLCAT burger for $5 a 6oz burger that usually goes for $8.50 for $5. Anyways I told the cashier guy about it and he told me yes $5 for the mini hellcat burger for $5 which is a 4oz. and I told him now it's your HELLCAT for $5 anyways in the end I was already there and I wasn't planning to drive this far for nothing so I was like fine give me your $5 4oz hellcat burger and a $6.50 poutine. For was ready in about 5 mins. Now on to the grading of the food. The $5 4oz burger was a okay nothing special I wouldn't pay $5 for this at all especially for a 4oz. totally not worth it Burger King JR whoppers are far better than this burger and a cheaper price too. Get me thinking how would this actual Hellcat 6oz burger would have been if they actually were providing it during their 4 year promotional deal. This 4oz burger was soo small and the bun was bigger than the meat which I really not a fan. And the bun was toasted. The $6.50 poutine was okay nothing special wished I didn't' order it based on the unhealthiness it looked. Didn't really stand out for a poutine very generic. Would I visit this location again? Probably not and I wouldn't probably visit any other Top Gun locations as well due to their misleading promos. Specialty burger joints are a dime a dozen in the GTA and they have a hefty price to pay to eat there. I'll be very selective with how I spend my money at these type of restaurants and it's definitely up to myself to choose wisely. So for that I will definitely look elsewhere. If you were to try to TOP GUN try another location would be my suggestion to you. Stay classy Yelpers and remember "KNOWING is half the BATTLE"

A quick perusal of their menu led me directly to the Soujuk and Avocado Burger ("5 oz beef patty, 4 oz fermented beef Turkish sausage, beef bacon, cheddar cheese, homemade avocado mayo, sliced tomato, baby arugula"), because I grew up eating soujuk and I was intrigued as to how it would work on a hamburger. It was ready in about 15 minutes and it sure looked impressive (and intimidating). This is one tasty burger. It's exactly the sort of decadent, larger-than-life treat promised by the description, as it's been overloaded with cheese and meat. The aforementioned soujuk gives the whole thing a good amount of spice, too. I will say, however, that the burger eats very, very heavy, which isn't surprising given that it's just fat on fat on fat. The arugula and tomato isn't quite enough to cut through all that richness, and I was definitely looking for some relief from all that richness. Still, as a once-in-a-while thing, I definitely would recommend this concoction. Service was friendly, too.
