They called to discuss the repair the next day. When I picked up the car, the total was $176.24 including the diagnostic fee. I was in a terrible position and expected $600 to $800 at the minimum. Five stars for a smog DMV service station... what the helli?…read more My car didn't pass smog initially. Turns out I had tear in my air-intake hose. They showed me the broken part and even did a quick demo, pointing out how to remove the part for fast replacement. They also mentioned this was pretty common in older model Hondas. Since I had already paid; they said get the part replaced, come back, and I could basically skip the line to get the test done. I replaced the part myself, which I'm pretty proud of, came back the next day and then my battery died... what the f@%k?! - NOTE: If your battery dies, the car computer has to reset. Which means you need to drive around for at least 50-miles. I did this, came back, they slide me in, and finally passed smog! The staff here was super patient, helpful, and very understanding to my situation. Beyond registration they also replace key fobs for cars and can cut new car keys as well.
