I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I don't think I have stayed at a hotel where there were two kings in the room (it's usually two queens or doubles).The room was huge. Since it is located on the Main Street that runs through town, you can hear the cars go by. It wasn't too loud though; it was more so faint. I will say the breakfast is not a breakfast. You have two types of cereals, a pancake maker, bread slices, coffee and juice. I would not bother with breakfast here and just go to the Lumberjack place in town, the donut shop nearby or McDonalds. The room looked OK until you stepped into the bathtub. There was in the that were in the hot tub jets did not work. The AC had its own freaking mind like it was possessed by the devil breakfast pancakes, without eggs or bacon or sausage. I'm I need my damn protein. I double checked and Our reservation was made at the end of November 2021 for the last week in June 2022. I reserved the accessible 2 queen bed room. I made the reservation directly with the Super 8 Willits. I got a call about a week before our trip and the representative from the Willits Super 8 said there might not be the room available and questioned whether I reserved 2 queen beds. As I stated in my original post they put us into the holiday lodge, I think, which was kind of a dump. I called Wyndham and they investigated and the Super 8 lied that there was a plumbing problem. The problem was they never said to me when we were there that there was a plumbing problem. They absolutely lied. We had been going there for over 15 years because of a music festival we went to every year. There is no way to deal with a lie! read more

About 1/3 of the Willits population was evacuated due to wildfires on 09/07/20. The Super 8 motel in Willits refused rooms to evacuees that have pets, even one, with no exceptions. They also gave away rooms that were reserved by evacuees to people that walked in, making evacuees that thought they had a place to stay sleep in their cars. This establishment is despicable and undeserving of anyone's business. read more

I have so many good things to say about this hotel.. I dont even know where to start. I called after being evacuated from the local #oakfire. I am a brooktrails resident. They immediately offered me a discounted room. the room was clean and comfortable. I went in the next afternoon and it was clean. the evacuation order was lifted thursday ( I had already paid my room fee), and I went into the lobby and they issued me a FULL refund at 4pm even though check out time was 11... I was frantically looking for a decent place to stay somewhere between Klamath and Oxnard. The night before we stayed at a different chain in Arcata and I refused to go back. This location was the lowest cost with pretty good reviews. I have to say, I am so happy I chose it. We checked in late(my apologies to the night clerk). The room was great. Neat and clean. Had a fridge, microwave, and most importantly, a coffee maker. The staff was nice and the courtyard is adorable. I believe there was breakfast but I didn't venture out to check. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stay here! As a bonus, there are raspberries and cherries growing wild behind the parking lot. I give this place a 3.5 because the toilet and sink clogged up the first day we were there. We called and they fixed it before we got back which we appreciated but couldn't use the bathroom for a couple hours. Also left some cookies in a bag on the table overnight and the next morning there were ants everywhere. They do have a microwave and a mini fridge which is a plus. read more

So when we got there which was after the 2 pm the lobby lights were off. We went in and rang the bell on the front desk. The front desk guy came out and gave us our room and what I thought was interesting is that the little paper thing they put the keys in had been reused multiple times. You could see the the room number had been erased off. He also wrote it in pencil. He sent us to a room that hadn't even been clean yet. The maids looked very surprised. They ran down there to tell him and he came up and gave us an "upgraded" room. Fine whatever, but upon further inspection this room wasn't cleaned completely either. We didn't have enough towels, we had 2 shampoos no conditioner and the folks before us food was still left in the fridge. The continental breakfast was lacking and the coffee was poor. The room could have used a deep clean. Needless to say that when we checked out I tore up the key card holder and laid that poor battered thing to rest. read more

Awful customer service from the wife and husband owners . I have always enjoy my stays here in the past and felt the staff to be honest . I checked out yesterday morning and didn't realize I had left some clothes and important documents in my room . Unfortunately I didn't realize this until late Monday night. So I went back to the hotel Tuesday morning, the very next day to ask about my things . My clothes had been found but not my documents. Or my books or my wallet.... I asked the maid repeatedly if she had seen these items and thrown them away . She said no she hadn't seen them and didn't throw them away . I didn't believe here so i dig through the trash and recycling ( gross and not safe ) anyway.... Low and behold in the recycling I found my books , my wallet and my documents. FYI if you stay here don't leave anything behind because after 3 hours they put it in the trash , lie that they did and gaslight you into thinking it's your fault they lied and have awful lost and found policies . PS . I forgot to mention my wallet was emptied . read more

For the price I expected more. None of the staff were wearing masks yet they were not serving breakfast or coffee due to COVID concerns. Seems a little contradicting. If you're like me & you don't need a lot of frills when you travel, this is a perfect place to spend the night. It is a family run business and the gentleman working the front desk was very cordial & I was checked in quite easily. I had requested an upstairs room because I usually end up under someone who prefers to stomp around their room carrying three hundred pounds of extra cargo on their back. They were able to accommodate me in that regard. The room was clean, comfortable, and contemporary with a microwave and refrigerator. There is a nice fountain in the courtyard that provides some welcome white noise at night. Super 8 Willits loses one star because the wifi was very weak in the back of the motel and didn't require a password, which always makes me a little leery. All that being said, I will stay here again during my next hiking tour. read more

Wonderful hotel to relax and enjoy the grounds, which includes a nice clean pool. Clean, well kept and to my surprise, a recliner in my room complete with massage. This place has horrible staff and dirty rooms. Pillowcases were stained, room wasn't vacuumed and there were hairs on the towels. The staff were super rude when asked for new linens. The place smelled like pot the whole time. I've also heard from people in town that they have a reputation of keeping people's deposits for rediculous reasons, basically stealing peoples deposits. Don't be scammed!! I reserved a room here online and during the booking process they DO NOT ASK how many people will be staying in the room. I booked a room with 2 King beds. When I arrived the lady at the desk asked how many people were staying in the room. I said 4. She told me it would be A DIFFERENT RATE since there were 4 people in the room. Why? I booked the room and they didn't ask how many people were in the room. Their website falsely advertised a rate so that you book and when you get there they charge you more. The pool was nice but the hot tub was out of order and due to covid they were not offering the continental breakfast only juice and coffee. I would have given a five star if they would have come up with something like to go bags or individual wrapped muffins and a fruit to replace the breakfast. BAD, BAD, BAD! Came up to Willits to visit my grandma on New Years Eve and checked into the Super 8. It was 7:30pm, 30 degrees and raining outside. When we got into our room we turned on the heat and waited from 7:30pm to 9pm for the temp to go from 61 degrees to 64 degrees. Went to call the front desk to tell them the heat was broken...only to find out the phone was broken, too. Went downstairs to the lobby and they got irritated with my husband and offered us another room. Turned out to be another room with a broken heater and a broken phone. At this point between sitting in a 60 degree room and walking back and forth to the office in 30 degree weather has made us super cold. I called the front desk with my cell phone and they told us they would give us a full refund if we left right away. They told us to leave. At 11pm at night on New Years Eve. I got on the phone with Super 8's main number and the lady on the end told us to go downstairs and ask for more blankets. Apparently, $90 doesn't get you heat or working phones anymore. She told me to call back in the morning and lodge a complaint with Super 8 headquarters. We checked into the Best Western down the street by 11:30pm. They have cleaner and better rooms with TONS of heat. You can tell that others have caught on by the full parking lot at Best Western and the 3 cars at Super 8. My call in the morning to headquarters was even more ridiculous. The lady on the other end had no advice for me and told me, "last night was hard for us, too, you know. We had a blizzard. Super accommodating made changes to my reservation without any extra charges let me check in early I was on a motorcycle and they offered to let me park it in the breezeway at night room was clean and as I was staying two nights I thought the room would be made up but after returning from a day trip I was pleasantly impressed as the beds were made and fresh linens were provided the only no breakfast I know because of covid but they should have disclosed before hand and I'm sure they could have packed up a little something if you requested it as I have had at other hotels but that being a minor issue I would stay there win a heartbeat read more

This is the best budget motel anyone could ever ask for! Loose the budget decor and add some more towels and I could almost be persuaded to believe that I was at a luxury hotel. Ok not really, but seriously this place is better than many mid-range hotels that I have encountered. You can tell that the owners take pride in this establishment. My stay was peaceful and relaxed. The room was very clean. The bed was really decent and firm. The rooms are arranged around a courtyard with a large fountain and wooden swing setting area. There is a hot tub and pool. Cable TV with good channels such as TNT, comedy central, MTV, and AMC. The rooms have microwaves, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and hair dryer. Also, there is a continental breakfast. The hotel is very close to a wooden train track, a safeway, and a short drive to a cute downtown area with interesting shops. Highly recommended when you want a cheap place to crash with multiple added perks! read more

For the price this Super 8 was OK. The rooms were clean but the bed was a little creaky and uncomfortable. They provide shampoo, soap, microwave and refrigerator. The refrigerator did not seem cold enough though. They do have their television programmed to turn off automatically every 2 hours - which was kind of annoying. It says breakfast provided, but when I checked twice at 7 and 9 am they guy said it was not open. The little courtyard has a nice fountain. The person who checked us in was very polite and professional. Would I stay again? For the price and location, if you wanted just a clean bed to sleep in with a nice shower and towels for a few nights yes, probably. read more

This was my second stay in a Super 8 in two weeks. The room was a little smaller than I was use to. The table in the room looked like it was shoved in to the room cause a table was needed. The fridge was squeezed between the sink and wall. Everything seemed a tight fit. The towels in the bathroom were so thin you could probably see through them. Use much bleach? Check in was very quick and easy. Prior comments about the staff being nice and efficient are true. He did ask if I needed restaurant recommendations when checking in. The courtyard outside with fountain was nice. I did see people sitting your there enjoying it. My room backed up to 101 and I had no noise issues when sleeping. Didn't check out the breakfast buffet, experience from other places predicted I would end up at McDonald's anyway. I'd stay here again if I were in the area. read more

Daniel at front desk was pleasant and friendly. He addressed us by our names and made sure we got credit for our stay for Wyndham Rewards. He made sure all breakfast items was adequately stocked. He gave outtstanding customer service. There's a nice fountain in the courtyard. But it had a Hindu statue. When we got to the room, it had a Hare Krishna booklet along with the Holy Bible.
