I travel a lot for business and I use a business card for checking in and out of hotel stay in hotels all across the south east of the Midwest the super eight is not a four or five star hotel. This is a nice hotel. That's a good part of Jackson, Tennessee. It's safe. It's close to the interstate. The rooms were absolutely spotless. They had furniture in it. That was not too old. You could tell the mattresses and everything was good furniture. Nice mirror nice lamp nice chair air conditioner worked well. Showers were clean. Bathroom was clean sink was clean new carpet that have been placed in the ass in the last few years, very nice late lady at the front desk they checked me in. This is a good hotel would be great for a family. I'm sure the breakfast they probably got cereal and donuts and milk and you know this is comparable to a daze Inn, but it was very reasonably priced great hotel. read more

Stopped here for one night as we traveled. The price was right. The front desk people when we arrived and left were lovely. The room was clean but a little shabby. The bathroom was tight. I had difficulty stepping in and closing the door. Breakfast choices were limited. read more

Stayed for a night on a long trip from texas to pennsylvania. Front desk clerk was friendly, room was clean and shower water was hot. Breakfast was sparse but it was free so I'm not complaining. Microwave & fridge in room & free wifi. Perfect for a quick stop on a trip. read more

This hotel was the worst I have ever stayed at, the problem is that it is clean and the room was acceptable. However, there was a bunch of people racing around in the parking lot, screaming and using the parking lot as their own party pad for hours through the night starting at 11pm and the staff did nothing to stop them. I am sure there is not a guest who wasn't woken up from the noise throughout the night. My room was just above the office so I am sure the staff heard the obnoxious sounds and did absolutely nothing to protect the sleep of all those who paid for rooms and were hoping to get a good nights rest. Clean place with okay employees. They do allow pets for an extra $16, they have a limited number of rooms designated as pet rooms. There is parking only on one side of the building. If your room is on the other side of the building, you have to walk around the building, no parking. Good mattress and pillow, good night sleep. Coffee maker and all the usual things chain places have. The breakfast is not that great if you are health conscious. Waffles, cereal, bread, sweets, a few pieces of fruit, Activia. The pictures are a little deceiving. It's not in the best area and i could hear the highway noise and sirens. The rooms are clean and the front desk man seemed nice. They let us check in early. We booked the motel 6 across the road. We ended up leaving because the room was so dirty. My husband and I drove across the street to the Super 8 hoping they would have a room available. The attendant at the desk was extremely helpful and let my husband look at the room prior to checking in. We were worried we wouldn't be able to check in on such a short notice but we were pleasantly surprised! We typically travel with our dog and cat so we only stay at pet friendly hotels. The fee was very reasonable per pet ($15). Our room was very clean! The bedding was clean and comfortable. There was no dust on light fixtures or furniture. Location was great! Many options nearby for food and close to the highway entrances. We will be VERY likely to check out the Super 8 next time we're on the road. read more

For the price it is worth the stat simply because the beds are new and sheets and room were nice and clean. Could there be a possibility that a room may have spots etc. sure but every human makes errs. Just ask for another room. The younger gentleman at the front desk around 8 pm was very cordial and kind and worked with me to get our rooms situated I took off one star because I did notice there was a small stain on the bathroom door seal and also we saw a small bug in the bathroom. The manager in the morning told us that pest control had sprayed previous week so will do so again. She was also very kind and adjusted the bill accordingly. All in all for the price its definitely worth the stay. Lots of restaurants and suchto choose from but most will be closed by 9 pm so order as soon as you get there! read more

Please DO NOT STAY HERE! You've been warned!!! Had no choice but to stay here for the night. It was so bad I bolted out at 3:30am. Cops came in the middle of the night and were there for a few hours. This is by far the worst place I've ever stayed at. The room smelled, I slept with all my clothes on and I didn't use the shower. The room was dirty, bathroom door wouldn't shut, the walls were beat up, desk was peeling, lamp shade was dirty, both beds had stains and hair on them, the phone was YELLOW (from all the dirt), the hall stairs were literally crumbling, the bolt on the door didn't lock the door, the shower was broke and dirty. I can't believe this place is allowed to be open. The board of health, the state, or the Hotel chain needs to shut them down. I will be calling corporate. You too can stay here in this dirty, nasty, run down dump of a motel room for only $112. You are better off pulling over at one of the rest stops and sleeping in your car. read more

You might overlook this place when your driving by but it's the best bang for your buck if you want to be on the cheaper side. We showed up late at night after traveling and the front desk man was there with open arms. Got us a deal for our two night stay. The rooms were surprisingly very clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The cleaning staff was very kind and if you requested something they would be there shortly to bring towels...etc. The customer care was unbeatable. Being in a town you have never been to and staying away from home was made better with these people. The breakfast was slim pickings, some donuts and apples and yogurt, but still would 100% stay again. They loved my dog and allowed her in the lobby and gave her bunch of pets. I never heard a peep out of any of my neighbors. I can not tell y'all enough how sweet these people were. read more

The pricing is... Ok. Payed about a hundred. Not cheap, buy definitely not expensive. Is it worth it? Well, just make sure you call ahead and have them turn on the AC, especially if you are on the second floor. The room feels like their is a fire in the ceiling. Even as I am sitting in front of the AC, I can feel the heat radiating from the ceiling. And this is after 20 minutes in the room. Also, I honestly couldn't tell if the sheets were clean and the floor turned my kids feet dirty. So, again, not cheap for what it is. Oh my goodness, again, call ahead and have them turn the AC on. read more

This place was clean and nice. We are truckers and after reading reviews at other places around us, we almost gave up getting a hotel. I'm so glad we found this place. The people are nice and they have actual tractor trailer parking on property!! For other truckers, look on the map and follow the road around... so that you can set up for a sight side much easier. Also when you leave, it's easier to go to the right back around the circle to get out at a light. Plus it keeps you from having to do almost a u-turn to get back on the major road. I will definitely come back here whenever we need a hotel in this area. We are very happy with our stay here. Nice shower pressure, bed is comfortable with clean sheets, temperature was comfortable in the room. Had a nice clean mini fridge and microwave. read more

I'm giving 4 stars because the room was what it should be. Clean and comfortable. Stay welcoming. It's what a super 8 should be. Yes it's dated but you can see they are trying to update. Let's face it we stay at Super 8 because that's what we want. If i wanted and expected more I wouldn't choose super 8. I'm traveling and I hope I can expect at least this from the rest of my stays this week at other wyndham hotels . This super 8 set the bar for my next hotels for the next week. My wife and I were on a cross country trip (moving back to Maine from Arizona) when we stopped at this Super 8 in Jackson, Tennessee. Having checked several online resources the reviews made us certain we would have a pleasant stay. Upon arrival, our expectations were not met. The building was rather old and appeared to be run down. Nevertheless, we walked into the lobby for check in. The manager on duty was pleasant and professional. We got our room key and went upstairs, the room was not what the reviews had stated. There were stains on the carpets that appeared to be from animals in the room, the carpets were also damp and musty. The sheets had fluid stains on them. There was also no working hot water. We spoke with the manager, who once again was very kind and offered us another room. This room was better, but still not what we would have accepted as clean enough to stay. The manager apologized profusely and settled the matter in a professional and courteous manner. We were greatly disappointed in the hotel. The only positive was the manager, who really did everything he could to try to provide a high quality experience. It is important to note that the hotel was owned and operated by a third party. This may not reflect all Super 8 hotels, but sadly this was a highly disappointing experience. We will not be going back to this specific hotel again. read more

Very bad bed bug problem at this hotel. We had several people in our party staying there that got bitten by bed bugs. When we mentioned this to the manager, she was in complete denial....accused us of making it up.....even after showing them the bites all over us. read more

My husband and I stayed at this Super 8 in Jackson, TN, during a cross-country trip in August, 2015. We were very pleased with the room and the hotel staff. The room was comfortable, spacious and had all the extras - coffee maker, microwave, etc. The room rate was reasonable for the value received.
