My wife and I stayed on a recent weeknight at Comfort Suites Jackson I-40 and were quite pleased with the experience. The hotel is conveniently located just a short distance from the interstate and has tons of convenient parking. Staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful and the hotel has a tasteful decor and a somewhat upscale ambiance that is noteworthy. Rooms are clean and crisp, with excellent amenities and our room boasted a truly exemplary shower; easy step-in and roomy, with excellent water pressure and temperature control. Beds are extremely comfortable. The complimentary hot breakfast is very good; with all the favorites. We often stay at Comfort Suites Hotels around the country and the Jackson I-40 location is an excellent representative of the chain. read more

I was a bit leery of this hotel at first because it's on such a busy exit. We ended up paying quite a bit more because of location and we needed a room on a Friday evening last minute. Upon pulling into the lot we noticed plenty of parking for guests and well-lit. Additionally, we were thankfully the receptionist was friendly and got us checked into our room with no problems. The reception area has iced water with lemons in it and a pool/gym down the hall. Neither of which we used during our stay, so I cannot speak to those amenities. First impression was our room smelled fresh/clean!! Upon pulling out the couch to make a bed for my kiddo, I noticed it had crumbs in the bottom and the cushion needed to be washed (stains on them). Also, the shower needed to be bleached and scrubbed as well as floors, I'm a housecleaner so I notice things like that. I am very grateful there were clean linens in the room and didn't notice any bugs on the bedding though. I will add the AC was perfect and the bed was true to its name (comfortable). For breakfast, there were hot biscuits & gravy, eggs, potatoes hash and then cold breakfast items as well as fresh coffee! I overheard the ice machines on the second and third floor were out of order because an older gentleman was trying to get some for his cup and couldn't find any. It is 2/15/26 Our room was very unclean and unhealthy environment!!! And the receptionist Tammy Davis was very rude and the towels in the pool area were so small not even a newborn would be fully covered!! The elevator broke and we all spilled our drinks! And there was spiders and cobwebs EVERYWHERE! And there was red liquid on the couch bed sheets. The pool was cold and not many seats. And Tammy Davis yelled at the kids in the pool even though there was like 15 kids under the age of 13! However there was a maybe 7 year old chasing us and being very rude and unsettling. The drinks were lovely though! Overall I would just not stay here it was not a good experience. Would not stay again or recommend . read more

Do Not Stay Here. They will overcharge your credit card. They will not answer your phone call and when they do they will either put you on hold or hang up on you. They will then refer you to the illusive Sunny(the manager) who is never there. The employees who are there at night have no ability to cancel reservations or issue refunds.We have stayed at other Comfort Inn's and had positive experiences but this location is an ill representation of their brand. read more

The hotel is filthy and the staff has a really bad attitude. The breakfast sucked. Nothing but over cooked frozen omelettes and some really nasty sausage. And to top it off it serves as a kennel. read more

We stopped here for the night on our way back home. My kids and I were pleased with this place! The entryway was impressive, clean and appointed well! This gave a great impression of the pride that management puts into this place. Our room was just as nice, and offered a clean, comfortable place to stay for the evening. The next morning, the maids were kind, friendly and a hoot to talk to! I had not stayed at this brand before, but I sure will remember it now, since we travel a lot. Took a group for an overnight stay here. Can I tell you that this hotel was CLEAN and the staff was VERY friendly. I've been to many comfort suites and this one was top notch. We had to leave by 7am. My group is a group of 35. The lady I believe Reneta was her name was making sure the food was stocked. Very nice. read more

First time staying here. Desk clerk, Martina, is so friendly and helpful. I made the reservation on Expedia about an hour prior to arriving. She already had our keys ready and paperwork done so check in was a breeze! Room was very clean and comfortable. Rate reasonable. read more

The most comfortable, quiet, clean and fresh hotel even the hallway smells nice. The room is spacious. The breakfast had lots of choices from cereals and pastries to eggs, bacon and sausage, waffles, sausage gravy and apples, oranges and bananas. Juices and coffee. Yogurts, oats and Breakfast sandwiches. oh and fried potatoes too! Served by two lovely ladies :) This hotel even has sanitized pens at the desk. Billie the GM checked us in and she made it a breeze she is awesome at her job. I highly recommend this property it us everything I could ask for and more! read more

Stopped here on our way home from a business trip to Louisville, KY. A snow and ice storm delayed our travel, and this hotel showed up on the radar at just the right time. One of the best decisions we made during the trip as this location is one of the nicest I've stayed in... and I've stayed in quite a lot. The rooms were very spacious, the front desk and breakfast staff were friendly and accommodating. They even helped us de-ice the vehicle and trailer the next morning with pitchers of hot water and extra ice scrapers. This is definitely one to bookmark if you're in the area and need a place to stay. Clean, affordable, safe and in an area with plenty to eat, do and see! read more

On a road trip from NY to Tucson, and we've stayed at a bunch of hotels along the way. Not only was this hotel the most expensive by about $50, but it was by far the worst. Neither of us slept more than a few minutes at a time, the slightest shift resulting in a horrendous squeaking of the beds. The bathroom had mildew on the walls and ceiling. The breakfast was quite flavorless as well. Altogether, for almost two hundred dollars a night, this is not a good hotel to stay at. Especially since Jackson, TN doesn't have much to offer. I don't see any reason for the unreasonable rates or conditions. After attempting to explain these issues to the manager, he acted like we were crazy and couldn't believe anyone could possibly have a bad night at his hotel. Our stay the next night was at a Home2 by Hilton further west, and it was around one hundred dollars a night with great amenities, and the beds were very comfortable. Definitely skip dis-Comfort and look elsewhere. read more

After having a bad experience on the phone with another hotel chain in Jackson, we stopped in to see if Comfort Suites. had room availability. The desk attendant was pleasant and helpful, which we very much appreciated after a 15 hour driving day. What a wonderful experience!!! We visited some relatives for the Thanksgiving Holiday, and this hotel was recommended by some cousins who had stayed there previously! Greeeat stay! The beds were comfortable. The breakfast items were nice. The lobby was nice. The room was roomy. The staff was friendly. The only negatives were not really negatives but I'll mention: There was no exhaust system in the bathroom, and I wish there was a mirror over the table in the main room vs a portrait. We will definitely stay here again! Our last hotel stay in Jackson was July 2014 at a LaQuinta in Jackson which was absolutely horrible! Only about Chelsea at front desk. I called with a question, she started talking to someone else in the room with her. I asked if she was talking to me or someone else. Her reply was " what's that". I asked if they accepted pets again.......pause....."no we don't" I hate to disturb you while we are driving across country and looking for a place to sleep tonight. read more

We came to Jackson to visit the Crown Winery in nearby Humbolt. With all the graduations and I assume weddings we were lucky to find a room at a decent hotel. Our room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast pretty good with the normal goodies you'd find at most hotels. We were on the 3rd floor with the window facing the highway. You could hear that traffic pretty well. There was also a lot of inside traffic of guests coming and going. I would stay here again, would just need to remember the ear plugs next time. read more

They hosted our family reunion and 50 people of all abilities, age 2 to 85 were happy. Rooms were clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was decent, with a variety of foods, hot and cold. Myself, My husband, and my daughter were in town one weekend for a family members funeral and I wasn't sure were to stay (I'm very picky about hotels) on top of the funeral I was sick with bronchitis (Not fun!) I read a few reviews online and decided we'd stay here the price point was a little high but the room was very nice spacious and clean. I spent a lot of time in the bed needless to say. The bed and the pillows were AMAZING I got such a great nights sleep! The bathroom was nice and large and the living area with the couch was great! I will not hesitate to stay here again when in town! The only down side was the only ice machine was on the 1st floor other than that I had no real complaints. read more

I was placed her on work-assignment for sevenish weeks. For the first month and a half, we received complimentary breakfast and dinner (plus beers). The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at this hotel is top notch! I would highly suggest people to come stay a night to see for themselves. read more

I recently stayed at this hotel from April 25th until April 28th. I was down there for my niece and nephews college graduation and I had made these reservations in November of 2018. On the last night we had to use both sofa bed to accomodate my niece and nephew and we found a total of 7 bed bugs 4 in one room and three in the other. I reported this to the front desk clerk he seemed to not care because he was working and playing with his son he brought to work. i was about to depart the hotel and he asked me to fill out an incident report I told him I can do one better I went back to the room and retrieved a plastic bag where we had kept one of the bed bugs alive. I placed the bag on the counter and the clerk and two other employees seen the bedbug and said uugghh that's nasty so how do you think I felt. read more

Nice clean room. Staff was accommodating to our early arrival and they were all very nice. Breakfast bar was more then I expected which was awesome. The hotel is close to restaurants and gas stations but also has a small pantry for buying items you need. I would definitely stay here again. The beds were very comfortable and soft. On May 31st of this year my granddaughter and her husband were traveling from her post in San Antonio, TX to her new post in Alexandria, VA. Being in the military she is only aloud to travel 8 hours a day. They stopped and went in to rent a room for the night. She was asked for her I'd which she provided. The clerk then told her that she couldn't rent a room because she was under 21. My granddaughter told the clerk she was in the military and provided her with her military ID. Needless to say she still didn't get the room. The clerk was very rude dealing with her. My son and her mother was following them in a separate car and when she told him she couldn't get a room he went in and spoke with the clerk and asked her you don't rent to the military? She told him if she isn't over 21, again the clerk was very rude. I have talked with the general manager of comfort suites. She was very polite and told me it was policy insurance regulations. She also tried to tell me my granddaughter tossed cards at the clerk and that she was rude to the clerk. This absolutely is not true. The lady said she watched the video of the incident. I would love to see this video. To me there is just something wrong with that. My granddaughter is old enough to fight for this country but not able to stay in a motel going from one post to another. Needless to say I'm irate and will boycott Comfort Suites. Not only me but my family and friends and friends of friends. Everyone I have spoke to about this were shocked. read more

My wife and I, after being disappointed with our reservations at the Knights Inn in Jackson, decided to stay here. We called the Comfort Suites asking if they had availability, which they only had a King Bed Suite with Jacuzzi. My wife and I, only got married a month ago, decided why not, and booked the hotel. I would definitely suggest asking if they can go any lower on their prices from their initial quote. I was quoted 150, and got it down to 135 simply by asking if they could go any lower. Anyway, the staff was very friendly, got us situation as soon as thy could. There was only one guy on, but it was around midnight and I understood the situation. We were very pleased with our room, the cleanliness and the jacuzzi especially. The button took a bit to find for the jets, but it was awesome! The bed was extremely comfortable and the TV was large and easy to see. This is hardly a gripe, but it wasn't HDTV and the quality felt like I was watching something out of the 80s, but still, who gets a hotel room to just watch TV right? Another slight gripe is that the vending machines aren't on every floor. My wife wanted to get a Diet Coke and when it was sold out on our floor (the 3rd) we went to the second, but there was no vending machine there. We had to go down to the 1st floor to get to another machine for her Coke. Also, the hotel shop is a little hard to see and a lot of people may miss it. All that said, I loved the hotel and the stay, just little things that kept me from rating it a 5 star. It's definitely above average in most respects. The breakfast was included and was very good. They had waffles, yogurts, juices, pastries, etc. It was really quite good and all included in the price of the room. Over all I would very highly recommend it in the Jackson area, despite being a little more pricey. read more

Delicious waffles made fresh and plenty of other foods. I got a great discount for being government. It has everything you would need. The only Bad thing i can say is that the ice machine is located on the 1st floor. Which is inconvenient if you are else where. read more

We normally stay at Double Tree in Jackson but I decided to try Comfort Suites this year because we could get a much bigger room (2 queens and a sleeper sofa) and free breakfast for the same price. Super friendly staff, clean, free breakfast was pretty good too. We will be back!! read more
