Let me get this out of the way up front, I do not like grocery stores. I don't like the way they're laid out, I don't like how they have things organized, I just do not like grocery stores. Super 1 foods in Coeur d'Alene is one of the exceptions to that. The store is large, they have a good selection, for the most part everything is organized well (their freezer section could use a redo). But the biggest thing about super One is they have a lunch/deli / hot bar counter. So what about the Post Falls super One? First of all, it's not as large as the Coeur d'Alene location. It's also not as well laid out. It has one of those confusing mazes at the opening of the store to get into it and to get into some of the sections. It's also not quite as well laid out. I have a harder time finding things when I'm here. The staff is all super friendly and helpful, no complaints there. So again, I don't like grocery stores, I would rather, much rather, go to the super One in Coeur d'Alene. But if you're in Post Falls this is better than most grocery stores in the area. read more

All the Super 1 Foods stores that I've been to always has staff that greets you or asks you if you need assistance with anything. I came here because their fruits are a bit cheaper than Fred Meyers or Safeway. They have pork shoulder and other meat products that run the same price as Costco for the same amount too, which really fascinated me. The store was really neat and organized, and sometimes carry items and brands that I would not be able to find at my closest stores. read more

Needed some assistance in the wine department today. Asked an employee for help finding the Malbec. He pointed out the Chianti and then said "I don't know the wines" and walked away. Made NO effort to get some help. Received a COVID vaccine store at the pharmacy and ended up in the ER because the pharmacist, after making me wait quite a while (even though I had an appointment) hit a nerve bundle - gave me the shot in my SHOULDER instead of my muscle. I frequently run into this poor customer service at Super One. Will NOT shop there again. read more

Nice, wide aisles & very clean. The shelves are well stocked & the items are neatly displayed. Even the parking lot out front looks good. All the staff that we dealt with were very friendly & helpful. We're from out of town, but the prices seemed reasonable. Once we walked in to the store the delicious orders wafting from the bakery were tantalizing! I wanted to buy a slew of doughnuts right there. Thank goodness the Mrs better common sense prevailed & we stuck with the items on our grocery list. A very nice store. read more

I have a love hate relationship with this Super 1 Foods. The store is kept clean, usually very well stocked and the cashiers are friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of options for healthy and alternative diets. Their sales campaigns are usually very good and being open 25 hours is always helpful. The cons are some of the newer hires need more training and common sense guidelines. The majority being the younger employees but not all of them. Lots of the baggers don't seem to understand a few common sense ideas like don't back raw meat with let's say deli packaged items, eggs are fragile, heavy items should be bagged separately than delicate and if you don't know ask. It's ok. My other gripe is visiting the deli section and seeing the employees eating or chewing gum and then handling food. Honestly I don't want to see someone using their hands to put food in their mouths and then handling the hot food to bag for someone. There are some food handling safety that is either being forgotten or disregarded. read more

So I first want you to know I really love super 1 foods and the people that work there are always friendly. As for there online ordering of grocery is truly a 1 star experience. I tried it for the first time due to my hip went out and had physical therapy that day. So I ordered ground hamburgers and 2 -8pc chicken dinners. Got the order in post falls parking spot and did what I was supposed to do and text the confirmation #. Waited 15 min they came out and apologized for the delay which was nice and gave us our food. Came home got the hamburger and 2 - 8pc chicken but not the meal. So had to go back and get the dinners but only got 1 dinner meal when I ordered 2. My family was so frustrated we just left paying more for food we didn't receive. Sorry Super 1 foods I give you a 1 star for getting food online. read more

Been here a few times, and I don't really expect a lot from their employees to be honest... Went up to the butcher freezer section just the other day and looked for a fresh sirloin steak. They only had giant two, and three packs, and I requested to the butcher (who was busy laughing and messing around with other employees behind the counter) if it was possible for them to split the giant two pack. He said "no" and pointed me to some other steak that was different. I just decided to go to Yokes instead. Also, half the time I've noticed the deli workers don't use gloves when handling food. This has always been a turn off. read more

I really don't want to write what I have to write. We shopped Saturdsy night at 7:00 on July 20, 2024. The store was not very clean, understaffed, and smelled old and musty. The change has been slow since Charlie was transfered to the Cda store. New management doesn't take questions or suggestions well. The attitude of the staff has changed and the overall atmosphere is very different. Prices have surpassed many other stores in the area as well. This really hurts me ro write this, but maybe it will cause current management to look inward and get excited again. The floors are filthy. Please look at what the store has become and act accordingly. Having one checker and one bagger with 8 people in line is frustrating for the customer. It really hits home when there are 3 guys in the closed customer service area talking and having a great time. This store needs Charlie back in my opinion. Super 1, it is a love/hate relationship I share with your store. There are only 3 or so places to buy groceries in Post Falls so we don't have much of an option as to where we want to shop. Some Saturdays there is a 12hr sale where one can purchase some relatively cheap produce but it seems whichever item is discounted most is located on the smallest display. For example, there was a great deal on peaches but they are displayed in a 3ftx3ft area in the midst of other produce. People are stepping on each other, carts knocking into one another, impatience growing as shoppers watch the area run "dry" as they attempt to figure out a way through the madness to the savings. As you can tell, this really bothers me. I often wonder if they are watching the cameras and are secretly laughing at us in the rat race. Produce on any typical day is mediocre with higher priced fruits than most other places and almost every time I walk through the section I see empty displays with remnants of fruit and typically someone who works there is bringing out more. I don't understand how in the middle of a given day a store lets something completely run out before restock. This store is open 24hrs, maybe clean the displays throughout the night so this doesn't happen?!?! Organic produce is incredibly limited and I have yet to see an organic lime in the place. Freezer food: I don't eat a lot of frozen food so I am not the best to ask about this. They have a great gluten free/ lactose free frozen area with many choices but no lactose free yogurt (only soy or almond milk yogurt) that are typically priced higher that other stores. Butcher area: One hell of a deal on clams at most times and the price of shrimp is comparable. Red meat is priced higher here than most other grocers and the quality is the same. I recommend buying your seafood here but go else where for better priced red meat! Deli: decent size salad bar that I have not tried and many hot items for sale in the display cases. Not to mention your typical deli meats and cold salads. Their cold case holds some delicious quick options and for a decent price too. THe deli usually has a lunch meat for $5lb and their roast beef is amazing (I don't even like roast beef). They offer homemade soups everyday but... The 2x i have attempted to buy some hot soup it is at the bottom of the barrel and sticking. Yesterday, that was the case and I went to the deli counter to ask about it, as I stood at the counter the staff stocked cups, to go stuff and answered phone calls. Huh, guess they aren't too concerned with the only customer standing in front of them. Beer: If you want a beer or cider by the bottle or can then this is a great place to stop and also, if you are looking for a PNW beer you can find them here! The 6pk selection is constantly rotating with the season. They even have a "beer cave" that you should check out :) The store in general is typically clean but seems to be understocked on items I need. I do not think I have been able to complete a shopping trip at this store. Yesterday I went for 3 items and they were out of 2 so I left with toothpaste and went elsewhere. The staff, for the most part is nothing to write home about. There is one who sticks out (to me) Roxanna, a checker with a smile for days and genuine happiness in her heart. My family has been shopping at Super 1 Foods for 40+ years. I love my store, CDA store, and their customer service is apparently above and beyond! My problem is this. I went to Super 1 in Post Falls, I was still recovering from a knee replacement and waiting to get in for the second knee. As I made my way across the store I picked up something and when I got done I decided I didn't want it. Rather than just putting it on a shelf, which I think is rude, I ask this checker if she could return it for me. She acted like I had asked her to do something truly abominable! That was only the first thing. Next I was purchasing my mothers grocery's and had a picture of the ad on my phone. Pepsi was $3.77 when you buy three. This checker accused me of bringing in a Yokes ad and told me unless I could prove it said Super 1 I had to pay $7.18 for a six pack. She acted like I put her out! As I was trying to find the ad and was scrolling through she kept acting like I needed to hurry and get done and just pay the $7.18 (which wasn't gonna happen!). She was rude, accusatory and called me a liar and acted like I'd tried to pull something over. I WOULD NEVER RETURN TO POST FAllS again!!! Same thing happened a couple weeks earlier in CDA ( my mom gets her weeks and sales confused sometimes) and they very nicely went and looked at the ad and showed her that it was like a 12 hour sale. But they were nice about it! My mother is 80 years old! So I have her name, this is the first Yelp review I have ever done so I don't know if I should include it or not. This is THE staple grocery store in Post Falls. The store is set up in a fluid and effective manner to send you through everything you need to shop for without aimlessly maneuvering aisles. The bakery has ridiculously fantastic donuts (baked fresh daily and yeast-risen​). An entire dozen is only $6. The groceries are locally priced...but they have really great 12-hour sales and, of course, weekly ads and generic brands that keep everything affordable. If you are looking for meat...watch for the red tags (they really mark down anything close to its sell date). The wine selection is fantastic and they have a decent​ selection of ethnic ingredients and sauces. The store is open 24 hours a day. read more

My daughter just had a horrible experience there with the assistant manager. And I live right here by your store and I used to go to it and like it but I don't go there anymore. The deli is filthy. The soda fountain machine looks like nobody ever cleans it and it's always a mess. In all fairness seems most grocery stores are dirty anymore. And that is lack of good management. read more

I absolutely love this store! BUT, today finally I've had enough of the deli department. Absolutely the worst customer service. They never acknowledge you're waiting and if you are they ignore you until they are ready to address you. Wasn't busy at all and never is when I get not so great service. I will say, when they are busy I get a little better service. Good prices, great quality, horrible customer service and the worst customers. I'm leaving the store right now empty handed. In my cart I had pork ribs, ribeye steaks, a 24 pack of soda and cat litter. I made the enormous mistake of choosing the express lane where a woman in front of me had way more than 20 items, was using EBT and picking out things she couldn't afford the cash for and nit picking every price that was rang up. Nobody cared, the clerk sure didn't and I left my cart in the check out love and left after a far too long of a wait. Go to another grocery store for better service. read more

Soft serve junior cones for 25 cents at the deli counter! What? I know it's awesome-thank me later. Great fresh fruit and veggie isles. I love the fact there's always a good six differing types of apples in the super 1. The butcher counter has the best selection of fresh meats in the greater post falls area. The butcher makes a good amount of house made sausage, chorizo, smoked salmon and house made jerky. Dog lovers pay attention to soup/dog bones are the cheapest--don't waste your money at any pet store. This one is open all night as well for the night owls or third shift folks living the nocturnal lifestyle. This store will have what you need and when you need it. read more

They have beer and meat, the beer is plentiful and the meat is good. If they added a hardware section this store would get the Ron Swanson thumbs up for sure. They often have good sales on meat and I buy lots. I buy beer no matter the price, because beer is proof that God loves us (meat is to). They have a great deli with lots of yummy things like potatos and meat, the fried chicken is really good and the smell is wonderful. This is a great hometown store, the people are nice and everything you could need is stocked. It's open 24 hours so you can go in your pajamas (yes I have done this). I live real close to this store in Post Falls. The employees are really friendly and I've gotten to know some of them. I find a lot of what they sell is cheaper in cost than FM in Coeur d'Alene. We do our major shopping by going to various stores not just one. But this one is definitely on our list. As far as needing just a few things, this is the go to store for us. It's a home town type store with most anything you would need. Very clean and well stocked. Prices are normal for a food store.

Watch the Deli! They shorted me when I got the right piece chicken dinner. I was only one there with two people helping me. Get home and only have 3 of the 4 rolls and missing entire mashed potatoes and gravy. Call to talk to the deli get put on hold only to be left there. I hang up and call back to speak to the deli where they say simply well you can come back in and that's all I can do for you. Ask to speak to a manger "Judy" who offered to call the Rathdrum store since I live about the same distance from both. So their face book post about understanding the customer need for a one stop is bull. They want a customer to come in twice to simply get what they paid for in their first stop. Didn't even offer a discount off next dinner. Will go to Yokes from now on! read more
