Dear Natural Grocers, Employee: Cherie General Manager: John Majority of the experiences provided by the employees of Natural Grocers here have been a counterpoise to the mission statement of the store. There have been good moments or at the very least neutral. Primarily, I've been faced with negative and oppressive incidents imbued with racism, prejudice and bigotry projected by Cherie. It is absolutely intolerable. Self-healing and a depth of awareness of Cherie's character acquire her to do a deep review of the hatred and bitterness within that expells out of her being. She severely lacks (non-existent) balance in her mental/emotional health and spiritual wellness. I believe the store itself has great potential and can be a gem to the CdA community but it starts with who Natral Grocers chooses to be the representation of their company. read more

One of my favorite grocery stores in the area. The organic produce is comparable to other stores and the quality is very good. Their frozen section has a little bit of everything and a few surprises. I'm also quite impressed with their vegan meat selection. They are the only ones who carry Field Roast breakfast sausages and they're delicious. They also have a good selection of nondairy cheeses; Miyokos, Daiya, Follow Your Heart and Treeline...yum! This place has great "mini" bulk spices, teas, flour, seeds and herbs for decent prices. They also have a huge supplement section if that's your thing. It may be small, but that is one of the reasons why I enjoy shopping here, compared to a huge store. read more

I appreciate many of the quality items they carry. That being said, Keep your receipts, always. If you have your receipt, no problem with a return, if you don't have it, it's not like Fred's or Pilgram's, they cannot look it up in their system even if you have an account there. I don't know why that is, but I do know they don't like to do a return w/o a receipt. They have the Vital Farms eggs and if you are a member the prices are the best here. Also, the vitamin & beauty section is large. Lots of choices there. I think the prices are fair. read more

Very good natural food store but often out of stock few basic things. Some of the staff members are very nice and helpful while others have an attitude and react as if you were bothering them when you ask them a question. read more

Natural grocers has more organic foods for health conscious people who want to live a long life

Very excited about this place!! In the couple years I've lived here I have had to figure out that Fred Meyer's natural food section is the best priced. Along with Trader Joe's however that's an hour away. I'm glad to say I found your store!! Looks like you carry all the products I buy and 70% of the products I saw are extremely comparable in price. There are many other grocers in Town that I will not step foot in because their prices are 2 to 4 times the prices I can get. It's so nice to walk into a store and not be bombarded by big-box processed food companies products!!! Cons: Wish they sold local meats. I wouldn't buy theirs as they're way too pricey. Would like to see more store brand products like other grocers are doing now. Still not my 1-stop shop, but for things I can't get at Costco or Freddy's, I'll come here. read more

As a vegetarian, I appreciate the items in Natural Grocers. Some of the recipes I use call for some odd ingredients that other stores don't have, but I can usually find them at this store. I wish they could keep the Higher Taste sandwiches in stock more often. They're delicious! read more

Great store for all your organic non gmo grass feed good stuff lol. Very good selection of supplements and vitamins , and they have great pasture raised eggs which you get $5 off every time by texting some code. I just wish they had more red meat.... for being in Idaho I was surprised to only find a few itty bitty grass fed ribeyes. More meat please! Other than that I love this place. read more

So many amazing foods and ingredients can be found here. If you want to improve your health, they have what it takes to do that. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. Unfortunately, for someone like me who doesn't make very much money, I'm priced out of these options. I look forward to the day when healthy eating and good ingredients are not determined by how much money you have in your bank account. read more

Was excited when this place opened, but reality was a disappointment. The staff here is really great and very helpful, but that's about all all can say about the place. Prices are higher than they need to be, even for a place like this where expensive is to be expected. The biggest let down was the selection of goods. Nothing fresh. Nothing local. Just the same lousy prepackaged good you can find in any grocers health section for double the already inflated price (BTW many of these "organic" prepackaged items come from China with little or no quality control) No local grass-fed beef or other hormone free meats. No fresh seafood. No local dairy that I saw. A tiny overpriced produce section that was not impressive. Looked like most of this "organic" produce walked off a plane from Mexico a week or two ago. Much as I was hoping otherwise, there was nothing here that would make me come back. They didn't even have a fresh deli or anything. read more

Not impress, prices are not competitive! The items I would buy regularly in other stores are over price in this place. New building, brand new name but that's it.. I would never pay 8 dlls for a small package of quinoa, my regular detox tea is cheaper somewhere else and most of the items are almost expired ( check the date before you take it home). Sorry, not a rant but there's nothing different in this stores that CdA already has.. Just my opinion. read more

I had never heard of the place until a fellow Trader Joe lover mentioned a little connection of the businesses and after that I visited. What a cool place. THE BEST aspect for me is the 100% ALL organic produce. Not 99.9%, 100%! This is excellent. I can't stand the goose chase, and this place doesn't compromise one bit. They've got incredibly high standards for their dairy products too, so I feel so comfortable that I don't really need to read about a company, I can trust Natural Grocers and the bar they've set. Easy layout. Endless options for alternative eating. The supplements section blew my mind - an avid supplementer, and I was shocked in regards to things i've never even heard of it. Great market! So SO glad this natural food store with Organic options is near home, but I was disappointed to have talked it up to my mom, who lives in CDA, only to get there and see her face of, "Oh." Prices were out of control! Even with some of our past SoCal organic shopping, there was sticker shock. Most items were just too much more than at Freddie's. Nothing was local from a farmer with a name or story. Lots of prepackaged. That was a big let down, I like stories and knowing the history of our farmers. Staff was nice and friendly. Im hoping this place picks up a little pep. #NOGMO read more

Natural Grocers has a lot of options and at lower prices than most other stores. The staff is very friendly, kind, and helpful. They do not have a fresh meat counter and their produce isn't always the most local choices, but aside from that, really enjoy shopping here. read more

I used to work for the NGVC in Billings, MT. I love these stores, and the CDA store did not disappoint! Kari and Anthony are wonderful, and everyone really tries to help you. They have a vast array of natural and organic goodies, and I felt right at home here. Perhaps I'm biased, but this store is the bee's knees! read more

My family and I love this place!! It seems like for the produce their prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores but when they have sales they are amazing!! We have also found that they have a good selection of vegan products and their Gardein brand selection is pretty awesome! read more

I love this place! I love the selection of natural body care products. I know that they have some things that pilgrims market doesn't carry and vice versa. But it's still pretty good. Ive been able to get things cheaper here then I would at pilgrims at times. Don't get me wrong love that place as well, just wish they would lower they prices a lil more. Do love the fact when I walk in it smells so goooooodddd! I love that all natural herbal smell! I usually go straight to their body care section and pickup some shampoos and conditioners with cosmetics before getting some of my herbal supplements and food. I do wish however that when it gets busy at this location that they would have more staff to hop on a register so the lines can get brought down on a busy day. Sometimes they only have one person and then only one other gets on a register, should have at least have 2 other's that hop on to help out and not just one. But other then that every time I shop here the staff is down to earth and friendly and helpful when you need something. read more

Helpful !! I'm surprised at how much I like this store--esp in comparison to our other venue. Here: Not playing the local over-overpricing game. YAY! Love their $2 bags of odd produce..and to trust it's 100% organic. Steady employees in a perceptible culture of cross-store and personalized relationship. Not trying to do everything. What they do, they do well. They do most things that count for me They happily special order, conveniently. Neither the place,the environment, the ambitions, nor scope is oversized. Good feel. Balance, responsiveness, accuracy and do-ability --a comfortable easiness and reliability-- create a pleasant, accessible homelike experience. I'd give them 4.5 stars but it's not a choice here. Marking off: The Colorado based company limits their access to raw dairy and a tiny mark off because they'd surely do a better job with meat than Pilgrims, here locally, were they to engage with fresh meat..and I'd really like that. read more
