Favorite local pizza, hands down. Also have great potato skins. They have been around since I moved here almost 20 years ago. Have been getting food delivered at least once a month since then. read more

Ordered a cheeseburger and pizza for delivery. The food arrived promptly and hot. The cheeseburger deluxe was ok. It was kind of bland, had no flavor. The pizza was good. I ordered sausage, tomato, spinach, black olives, green peppers and onions. The pizza was nicely filled with the ingredients. They did not skimp out. The crust was nicely crusty, and not soggy. Big plus. read more

Something magical is happening at Suparossa. Their pizza and dinner options are consistently on point--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We are so lucky to have a restaurant this good so close to home, and we happily take full advantage of it! Kudos to the chef and the entire Suparossa team. And I can't leave out the delivery crew--pizza arrives just as hot as when it comes out of the oven, and the drivers are quick, friendly, and absolutely deserve to be rewarded for the great job they do. Thank you to the Suparossa family for ALWAYS supporting your neighborhood schools. We truly appreciate you. read more

Overall, SRP was a solid choice for a late weekday evening when all other deep dish choices were slim to none pickings. And so it was! I remember SRP from way back when as a solid neighborhood joint. I was surprised at the low-ish reviews and thought we'd give it a try. Their cheese stuffed pizza (extra $ for additional toppings) was pretty fluffy and bouncy but lacked flavor. It was tastier leftover drenched in Louisiana hot sauce and giardiniera. Their fries were the best. Fresh potatoes a little bit on the salty side but not pumped with gmos, just fresh cut potatoes. We have always done take out and never had an issue. Their pizza has yet to disappoint us.

Everything started wrong immediately placing the order. The food arrived 2 hours later. I received 1wrong Pizza. The dough was chewy. The pizza was bland no. I called to tell them I received the wrong pizza. The teenager that answered the phone ... was not able to understand she was helpless. needless to say, no one bothered to call me back. I strongly suggest do not order from them. Pizza Hut is better. read more

After many years of ordering from here last night was my absolute worst experience it solidified my decision to never ever be a customer here again. I will be sure to tell all my family and friends how they took over 2 hours to deliver my cold pizza (after I was told it would be 60 min) and how I had to throw away the freezing cold mushrooms and fries I ordered. I am in shock that a well known establishment like this would be okay with serving their customers that disgraceful meal. When I called several times to check on my order status the phone girl couldn't even find my order. The whole situation was a mess and a huge waste of money. Its not cool that I'm sure I am not and will not be the customer to receive horrific service and food from this place. Never Again!! read more

So I have a love hate more hate then love relationship with this place. Have been coming here for at least 15 years. From the selection in this area the pizza ranks at the top both thin and pan and the chicken parmesan is among the best. 5 stars for each. Unfortunately that's the end. The fries are greasy as if each bite is a glob of oil and other dishes are no better. Today was the worst experience as I received what looked like an unfinished sandwich. with the least amount of sauce as if conserving it the sandwich seemed to be missing a meatball. You be the judge. It was delivered like this and after 16 hours of work I have no energy to call and complain. Not the first time at this place iv been disappointed but like a battered spouse I always think they will change or it was the last time. I will try my best to find a new home I am done with this subpar restaurant. I give 2 stars in memory of the pizza. read more

Weather it is the stuffed or thin -- this has been our favorite for YEARS! Best of both worlds. Especially with the thin - NEVER TOO oily. (We do always order the thin well done) Always on time with delivery or pickups. read more

The old lady at the take out section is so C/S UN-friendly and hands your take out order without a smile or perhaps "thank you for your business" etc. Grant it, the pizza and beef sandwiches are very good, however I have found other Italian pizzerias in the area that are grateful to have your business from the initial phone call to arriving for pickup with a very warm greeting. Perhaps she needs to retire and give a younger crowd the opportunity to serve with a smile like their competitors do. Will not return. read more

Thank you Pedro for finally handling my concern. Will keep restaurant in mind when the area.

Always a good choice if you're indecisive. I like to order a classic thin crust and ask for it well done. Just perfect! Sides and appetizers are just ok for me but that pizza is solid. Oh! And the deep dish! Soooo good! read more

Piazza is my favorite! Service not so! PEOPLE PLEASE CHECK YOUR RECEIPT. I Often get over charged here and for things not ordered, and usually they're apologetic. Today, I was overcharged for extra 'pizza sauce'... they've never charged for this. So I call them, and the young lady on the phone is like an insurance agent.. deny deny deny. I asked if I was charged for extra sauce, immediate reply "we've always charged extra for sauce." Until luckily a fellow employee corrected her. Still, no apology. She asked, "so what do you want to do about it?" RIDICULOUS. I am a paying customer, am's she's acting like she's doing me a favor in trying to correct her clear error. It's so sad...I love this place. But the people they gave answering and taking orders really stree their downfall. No product, no matter how good, merits the crude inconsiderate service that Suparossa so often dishes out in their carry-out department. read more

Some of the best stuffed pizza I've ever had. Be careful with the appetizers/sides though, especially if you live more then 15 minutes away.

In what universe is this a half sausage, half cheese pizza? Having ordered here over 60 times the quality is worse over time. Sometimes the pizza comes with little to no sauce and this time they just completely loaded a 1/2 cheese with sausage. My picky six year old is not happy about it. read more

I've ordered from here for YEARS and this is the first and last time I order from them. The calamari I ordered alongside the football pizza was disappointing. I called and even asked to speak to the "manager" and all he said was sorry we're under new management and the portions were wrong before. The calamari was 5 pieces... I kid you not. Awful response to a loyal customer and awful portion sizing now with new management according to the manager. read more

Hope to return soon. Generally good--especially for a group outing. Reliable, not spectacular food and service. Nearby Portage Park and area shops offer more to explore. Do not ever order delivery from here. Ever. Unless you are a masochist who enjoys the pain of having to deal with the staff here. As with other reviewers I have had issues with delivery. Delivery coming late, delivery missing items, delivery without utensils (apparently this is restaurant policy - how am I supposed to eat my pasta at the office? Using 2 pens as chopsticks?). Isn't this what I am PAYING for when you charge for delivery? Food is okay, portions are big, but honestly it is not worth the hassle. Get your food from somewhere you won't have to worry about issues with delivery and where you get utensils to eat your food with. read more

Stopped in and had the chicken Vesuvio, large bbq wings and meatball sand with fresh cut fries. Was beyond exceptional and the food was done just to our liking. I also had their Chocolate Cake which had multi-layers very good quality choco and super large piece. Great value. I have to say they have stepped up their game compared to last year, when I received sub-standard food. Go Super! They also honored a $5 dollar coupon which made it even a better deal on mounds of food and desert. I shall return for other offerings! read more

I'll keep this SUPER SHORT. If a traditional pan pizza and a deep dish pizza had a baby, it would be Suparossa's pan pizza!! As far as the cannolis, they were size of my hands. Each bite is filled with the crunch of the outer faux sprinkled with a chocolate chip surprise. I can tell there was orange liqueur and peels stirred in with the filling. Each side was evenly coated with exactly 30 pieces of pistachios. I was able to keep my wallet green after. read more

Disappointing at best. Service was attentive, but food service was terrible. We ordered a lunch salad and personal pizza with an add on of soup. The soup came right away and was good, as was the delicious bread, but then we waited over a half hour for anything else - and there were only two other people in the whole restaurant. Our waiter came back and told us the pizza would be another 10 minutes, so we said just bring the salad so one of us could eat. This antipasta salad was gross - it was like someone opened a bag of italian lunchmeats and dropped it on top, along with about a half bottle of Wishbone dressing. The pizza took almost another 20 minutes and was not what I expected from a Margherita-style. This had diced (canned) tomatoes, basil that looked to be either old, dried or just plain over-handled and way too much cheese. I expected real tomatoes, less sauce, less cheese - and fresh mozz. would have been nice - and fresh basil. We probably won't be back - the prices on the specials and entrees were really high for this area and given the quality with 4 people in the place, I would hate to risk it when they get busy! read more

Id give a ZERO if I could!!!! A pizza (well done) and "screamers" were ordered for delivery at 11:30pm Sunday May 27th. The order was delivered at 12:02am. The pizza was raw!! It was disgusting and inedible. I did not order food on a 90+ degree night just to turn my oven on to finish cooking it. The poppers we're obviously not fully cooked either!! I called.. Jessica told me it's too late to get a new order, I can only receive a credit to my account because they don't know how to refund money. We had problems with this restaurant a while ago and stopped ordering from them but since they were the only ones open we figured we'd give them another shot and this is what happened.. I don't want to waste any more time or money on them. Jessica told me to call back Tuesday and talk to the manager Jeff because he could do a refund. I called back Tuesday and spoke with Jeff who told me since it's been two days he cannot do a refund. He then told me that refunds are above his head and I'd have to wait until tomorrow to talk to an owner. I asked what the owner's name was.. he got bent out of shape and told me that he is not going to do a refund because I kept the food. I told him he could send somebody over here to get the food out of the trash in the alley and his response was what do I want with two-day-old food? This was a five minute conversation that went nowhere then Jeff hung up on me. I called back and asked for the owner's name.. she put me on hold for 5 minutes then came back and said that she doesn't know why her manager Jeff would not answer.. she will take my number.. it's against the rules for her to give out any information. read more

I've lived in the neighborhood my whole life, and this place just gets worse and worse. A couple weeks ago I ordered a family size pizza. Had specific delivery instructions, and instead of following them correctly, the delivery person left the pizza outside in the cold. When I called (and admittedly had quite the attitude), the driver said he rang the top bell, which he did not, and he did not even attempt to call the number on the receipt. They said they would put a credit on my account. That's very nice, thank you. I called tonight to order again, and they credited me account $5 for an almost $50 order that their delivery driver was responsible for leaving in the cold. Everything is just so inconsistent. Good pizza in this neighborhood is scarce, so if they could get it together they would make a killing. read more

Ordered food from this dump last night and will never do it again. You couldn't pay me enough to eat their garbage. We ordered a linguine and spaghetti dinner, and a can of Coke. Simple enough, right? First red flag, they gave us RC cola which to a Coke person is battery acid. Absolute swill. If you're too cheap to offer Coke products, then don't list them on Grubhub you dishonest ba$tard. Second red flag, they didn't offer any butter or parmesan cheese for our bread or pasta. Who does that? Answer, these cheap ba$tards! Third red flag, mustard rosemary salad dressing? Sounds amazing right? What I got for my salad was good ol' honey mustard. Nice bait and switch, you sneaky cheap ba$tard. Final red flag, we asked for a SIDE of Italian sausage, but I guess that was too hard to comprehend because what we got instead was sliced Italian sausage mixed into our pasta entree. This place is a major FAIL on all fronts. Save your money and go somewhere that has better food and can follow SIMPLE directions. However, if you're looking for a screwed up order and food that tastes like your 4-year old kid made it in their Easy Bake oven, then this place is 5 stars all damn day! read more

I wish I could give them zero stars. Earlier tonight, my boyfriend and I ordered two stuffed burgers and some rolled eggplant via GrubHub. The burgers were absolutely disgusting. They were essentially a pile of cold, crumbly beef with chunks of cheese and undercooked veggies. The meat was too big for the bun, which was soggy and also falling apart. They didn't even get the ingredients right- my boyfriend ordered mozzarella and got cheddar. Basically, they weren't edible. The fries were also cold and soggy. I could have used the bread that came with the eggplant as a bludgeoning weapon. The only food-like part of the meal was the rolled eggplant. Everything else was inedible and disgusting. I called the restaurant and asked to talk to a manager. The manager refused to take my call, and the employee I spoke to was only allowed to offer me credit toward my next order. They offered me a $6 credit. (The burgers were $8 each, and- as I mentioned- inedible.) When I refused, the employee tried to get the manager for me again. After a few minutes, she came back on the line and offered me a $10 credit. Rinse and repeat- this time they offered me a $12 credit. It was getting closer to the price of the burgers, but by this point I was irate, and I'd been on the line over 20 minutes. It was getting ridiculous, so I let them go and called GrubHub. The customer service person at GrubHub had to call me back twice because Suparossa was refusing to refund my order. Eventually, they agreed to refund part of my order. I just wanted to get off the phone by that point. Not only was the food disgusting and inedible, but they have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. In the end, I had to cook myself dinner after going back and forth with Suparossa for an hour. read more

As an out-of-towner I feel a bit unqualified to comment on which Chicago pizzeria establishment serves the best pizza, but these guys have my vote for excellence in the football-sized pie realm. We were hanging out with our buddy Tony Lee, the Blind Staggering Windy City Madman and a stalwart scenester of the Chicago Pizza universe. We ended up catching the game at Gamblers where we first experienced Suparossa's pepperoni and sausage pies. Of course we weren't paying for our portions but I must say that they were supremely tasty. The sauce was rich and flavorful, the cheese melty and the toppings were amply distributed. A+ in my book! Go get some. read more

Love thier food but their customer service is not good. In fact, they are mostly dismissive when you contact them with issues. Delivery can take a very long time and fixing orders or granting refunds is something they are willing to do at all. We order the same thing, always. Our usual order is a half cheese and sausage and jalapeño pizza. For the 1st time it arrived drowned in jalapeños. Seriously, every single inch of the left side covered, about a lb worth or more. The left side was soked in Jalapeño juice, the pizza on that side was basically inedible. We attempted to get a refund, partial credit or something and all they said was that that's how they make all thier pizzas and that they wont process refunds. That was the end of that. Simply not the case. We've order the same pizza for ya long time and this time was the only time it came thar way, but they ignored our complaint and dismissed us all together. While i like the food, customer service is a big part of keeping customers coming back, and I can't trust ordering from here again knowing they don't care to provide somewhat decent customer service if an issue ever comes up again. What a shame. read more
