I love that they offer same day crowns. Their prices are better than another local dentist I went…read moreto consult first in Buckeye. They also take a more conservative approach with dentistry. I only docked one star because getting in touch to schedule or hear back from the front office can be challenging and even a but frustrating. But once you get there, the service is great. Event is friendly and helpful.

The staff does not understand universal precautions and simple handwashing. You see techs walking…read morethe halls in gloves and going room to room without changing them. No sinks in rooms for handwashing. No hand cleaner on wall. As a public health nurse I find this unbelievable. Went in for pain in a molar. Needed a root canal. Root was fractured too far down and the endodontist who was very good stopped the procedure and stated I needed extraction. Paid in full for procedure. They billed my insurance 6 x what I paid! Had the tooth pulled. The DMD did not want to use sedation which was fine. Stated it would only take 5 minutes. He did not read that they had tried to do the root canal. The tooth came apart and 40 minutes later her was still trying to get the tooth out. He damaged the crown next to the tooth. I came down with thrush and a upper respiratory bug a couple days later. I paid cash for the procedure at the rate they quoted. They billed my insurance $6000! I will be reporting this and finding another dental practice.

However, that 2nd visit proved to me, it was not me, but the dentist was indeed sarcastic and uncaring. I have never had a problem with a dentist or a dentist office before and I'm 60+ y/o. I will not be returning here to be treated like a nobody or someone who doesn't matter. I had been searching for another dental office to have my six months exam and cleaning, which was due several months ago, but my experience at Village Grove Dental left me hesitant to trust other places. As of today, I was able to trust another office enough to schedule my checkup. I met the staff and had a good experience while there completing paperwork. I will say this, I don't ever plan to go to another dentist who doesn't own his/her own practice. It makes a difference when you own the dental office. Customer service and genuinely caring is important.

However, the front desk staff have consistently been rude, dismissive, and condescending. At first, I thought maybe they were just having a bad day, but after multiple visits for my braces check-ups, their attitude has been the same each and every time. It's disappointing because it reflects poorly on an otherwise wonderful office. I truly love my dentist, but the lack of professionalism from the reception team makes the overall experience far less pleasant than it should be.

Update:01/28/2026 I…read morevisited a highly recommended dentist at a different office and learned that the information provided by Goodyear Orthodontics was inaccurate. I was told I had a one-surface filling, when in fact it is a four-surface filling, which now requires a crown and possibly a root canal. The new dentist could physically see the cavity, raising serious concerns about how this office failed to diagnose obvious decay. It is unacceptable for a dental practice to miss decay that is visible both on X-rays and to the naked eye. Dentistry should be about saving teeth, not allowing them to deteriorate for future financial gain. This experience has completely eroded my trust in this office. If I could give negative stars, I would. In 2019, Dr. Ashton placed a crown on tooth #3. From the beginning, the crown created a significant food trap. At every six-month cleaning, I repeatedly complained about this issue. Each time, I was told everything "looked fine," despite my concerns and despite the fact that I previously worked in a dental office and knew something was wrong. At my most recent cleaning on December 29, 2025, I again reported the food trap. Nothing was done. However, the hygienist always seemed to find issues with my gums -- yet the crown itself was never addressed. 3 weeks after my cleaning the crown came off. I was informed that I now have a cavity under the crown. This office now wants to charge me $600-$1,000 for a replacement crown -- for a failure that should never have happened. This office watched a crown fail over several years, ignored repeated complaints, and now expects me to pay for their poor workmanship. This feels less like healthcare and more like a money funnel -- substandard work designed to fail so patients return for expensive treatments years later. I am extremely disappointed. I strongly encourage anyone who has experienced issues with this office to file a complaint with their dental insurance provider and the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners.

Personally I always dreaded going to the dentist as my childhood dentist caused me so much trauma. I avoided both doctors and dentists like the plague. Good thing I happened to be searching Yelp and found the best reviews of this place. I arrived with so many nerves, but left there feeling so happy and grateful that I found Dr. Catalina and her staff. The staff are professional, helpful and follow all protocols to protect their patients health and safety. I come from a family background of folks in the medical field and know proper protocols for patient health and noticed each individual make the proper decisions to follow health safety and sanitation guidelines. I was impressed at how they handled each task and how Dr. Catalina herself made me feel at ease, confident and comfortable in the chair. I couldn't believe it, but yes.. now I regularly attend dental appointments and know that when I step into her office, I will be taken care of and welcomed. I feel transformed and love by Dr. Catalina and her staff. From the All-Knowing Receptionist to the Hygienist to the Boss and everyone in between! I absolutely recommend Aesthetic Dental to everyone and anyone. Subsequently and sadly, I recently lost dental insurance and the staff let me know there are affordable cash rates so I could still attend so I'll be seeing them again in a few short months. Thanks Catalina and Staff for your superior service and care!

"Oops, gum tissue is exposed" "Go next door to my friend, the Periodontist for an extraction, and implant, then I'll replace your crown" * Office Experience was even worse. And no one to return my calls!!!
