I've used Sunshine Tow through AAA twice now, and both times I received truly out-of-this-world customer service from Akram. He is one of the kindest, most genuine people I've ever dealt with. He's a hard-working man with a family who still manages to deliver number-one customer service every single time. He makes you feel like any mistakes or problems aren't a burden on his shoulders -- he just handles everything with patience and professionalism. AAA is very lucky to have an employee like Akram. You should recognize him and give him a raise. He is invaluable and exactly the kind of person more companies need. Thank you, Akram! read more

My sons truck needed towing. Called AAA and they dispatched to Sunshine Towing. The AAA dispatch said it would take 58 minutes. Its hot. They were there in less than 10 minutes. Hooked up my sons truck and we were back at home 10 minutes later. Awesome job, super quick, super friendly and offered expertise on what I told him I thought could be wrong with it. I highly recommend them even if not going thru AAA! 5 Stars all the way! Great service!! read more

I called AAA for a tire change. Hasanin arrived in what seemed like 5 to 10 minutes - very quick! Hasanin was very kind and very professional. He took care of changing my tire and checking the air in all of my tires in a matter of minutes. I'm grateful for the excellent service I received from Hasanin of Sunshine Towing. read more

My family and I had gotten a blow out right in the middle of the freeway. We were in the carpool lane so it was pretty tight. We had called AAA and they said Sunshine would be out to assist us. Their ETA was an hour, which makes sense for towing but is still pretty annoying. When we checked back in on the ETA it went up a little higher. We waited a bit and out of no where the tow truck pulled up. I don't know about you guys but this was a hot call. They came within 20 minutes. The driver was also very kind and understanding with us. read more

I requested AAA this morning to send someone out for a tow or charge car battery should that work and come to Overture San Marcos- senior community. Asaan(sp) a little after 11am arrived. Before he even checked the battery, he said he could sell a battery to me for $350.00!!! Even after I said that my car is still under warranty that I would not be charged for. He then lowered the price to $250.00. He kept trying to manipulate me as a senior citizen that I was making a horrible mistake and the car could die. He was then really rude and talked down to me as if I was imbecile. This man takes advantage of seniors and I am going to report them to the BBB this evening after work. read more

I got Sunshine through AAA for a battery request. I got a text saying they would be there in 17 minutes, and they were. Hasanin was a total pro. Friendly and professional. Took care of the car battery and offered to change the batteries in the key fobs. They honored the AAA warranty and I also received a text later in the day checking that all was well. Can't go wrong with these people read more

We have AAA and they are suppose to be a premier provider for AAA and waited them only for them to cancel right as the hour was up for them to be due at my location.. unreliable!! Don't give them personal business if you have other option. I got them dispatched again on day 2 of trying to get my car home but they declined but thankfully they did pretty quickly and not leave me waiting an hour for nothing. So I gave 2 stars because I appreciate the fast response on the second dispatch but no stars for the first day. Please next time just decline right away if you're not going to come. waiting in hot car with kids is no fun read more

Wonderful Service!!! Driver was so experienced and kind!!! Very pleased to have quick and professional help in time of need!!!!

I cannot over emphasize how impressed and happy I am with the service at Sunshine Towing. Liz who answered the phone helped tremendously. I found them through AAA and was going crazy trying to communicate with AAA about my issue. (When your car breaks-down and you are on the side of the road, the last thing you need is AAA automation that speaks to you as a polite robot picking up EVERY traffic background noise and interprets that as an answer on the automation. you can't yell "representative" loud enough!) I absolutely HATE AAA but there is no alternative. However Liz at Sunshine Towing who helped me from really made the difference. Sunshine was assigned the tow. She was clear, helpful happy and human. Unfortunately that's a rarity with customer service. She took an extremely stressful situation and an extremely agrrivated version of me and made it all work with grace and a positive attitude. Thank you Sunshine Towing and thank you Liz... P.S. I hate you AAA read more

Hi I'm a Premier member with AAA, I have always been very happy with the Level of Customer Service.. I needed my vehicle towed to my house, I'm so used to Sunshine Towing responding Asap! To my not paying attention, like I locked my keys, (again), my battery is dead, I left the lights on, I need a jump. Last evening I needed a tow, Sunshine Towing was very busy, Ashnor (correct spelling?) was assigned to do my Tow, He is the Most kind person, with an Amazing way of apologizing , acknowledgine that Sunshine Towing has a lot of calls, and he hasn't forgotten your request. This young man has Amazing Customer Service Skill. Please acknowledge his work Ethic. read more

Kind folks with a solution oriented mindset. Would recommend to anyone. Sunny especially so.

Sunshine towing was dispatched to tow my 1964 safari Manx earlier this evening on the corner of east grand Ave and ash in Escondido. Humberto was our driver. Not only did he arrive 40 mins earlier than the ETA given by AAA, but his professionalism and skillset was exactly what we needed to receive at the time. My Manx is temperamental to say the least. He helped us try a couple of things to get it started, and as we were about to throw in the towel, and load it up into the flatbed, I attempted to start it one more time and it fired right up This was by far, the best Tow service I've ever experienced and I am very appreciative for Humberto. Please give him my regards and give him a raise. Thank you so much- Jennifer Dolge read more

Horrible service, they drove right by where I was supposed to be picked up. I called over and over and the receptionist or people who pick up when needing a tow just kept putting me on hold and also hung up on me several times. Steve at Sunshine towing did an amazing job! Needed a new battery installed because it was completely gone. Steve told me what was going on and communicated answers from any questions I had. Fast and easy but most importantly it was efficient because the car is running good. He changed the battery for a Toyota corolla hybrid with little too no effort. Great professionalism. I hate this place so much. got stuck on the side of the freeway and the lady on the phone kept hanging up on me and my mother who were STRANDED, scared, and the lady was so rude and communicated so poorly. Would not trust this place ever again. do better please. read more

Driver/Technician was very professional and deserves a 5-star review. The only downside was the timing. Although the AAA app provided a timeframe of about 66 minutes, I received a call at 6:27 AM (about 10 minutes into the 66 minutes) stating the technician would arrive in 10 to 15 minutes. I rushed to prepare for work and went outside to meet him, but I ended up waiting for more than 40 minutes. I am not sure where the communication breakdown occurred, but it may be worth looking into. Still 5 stars and I would recommend!! read more

Yesterday on 6/19 we contacted AAA because we got a flat tire in San Marcos in the Walmart shopping center. They dispatched sunshine towing to us and said they would arrive in an hour. We received a call within 5 min from a gentleman named "Alkram" "I hope im spelling that right" he was very professional and said he would be there in 10min. He showed up had the correct tools changed out our tire very quickly. He was very courteous and asked us if we had any questions and checked the air of our spare tire. Thank you AAA, Sunshine Towing and Alkram for an excellent job! Much appreciated. read more

The worst, most unprofessional tow I've ever had. The tow truck driver told me AAA wouldn't cover the tow because the vehicle had been in an accident and AAA never tows vehicles for accident-related damages. He demanded $350 for the tow. Then, when I called the AAA representative to confirm his story, he changed his tune, indicating AAA would pay for the tow. Then, at the collision center, he changed his tune once again and demanded $400 claiming AAA wouldn't cover the cost of the tow. He threatened to leave the car on the side on the road, after dark, if we didn't pay immediately and did not want to wait for us to speak with a AAA representative before paying what felt like a predatory the tow fee read more

Sunshine Towing - Their driver came to tow my car for AAA. He apparently believes gravity and friction are how to tie down the car. - Towing Near Me

On Thursday April 17th, I discovered that my rear, driver side tire had a screw in it pulling out of the garage. I then called AAA to have them send a driver out to swap that tire out with my full-sized spare so that I could take it to my friend's tire shop in Mira Mesa to get repaired. The driver came promptly, within 30 minutes and was cordial. He gave me the option to fill the tire up with air or to swap it out with my full-sized spare. I opted for the tire swap. He did the work and even helped me load the damage tire into the trunk area. However, when I drove my SUV to the tire shop, the service man noticed that all of the lug nuts were extremely loose. He even went so far as to say that if I had driven another few miles on it, my tire would have completely come off! I'm just glad that I was able to make it to the tire shop in time. I did take a video of it and even called into Sunshine Towing to relay the incident. My only regret, is that I did not personally check the work after he had put on the spare tire. I was told that the driver would be spoken to, but aside from that, I don't think anything else will be done. My advice to anyone using this company or any other service whether it be on your own or from AAA, is to check to make sure the lug nuts are on securely before the driver leaves your vehicle. read more

Driver came in with a bad attitude. Triple A sent them out but they didn't want to take the tow from triple A they wanted to charge 1000 dollars to take the vehicle to the destination, it was most likely on top of what they were going to charge triple A. He was making the most amount of excuses to deny the tow. The guy left me and my kids stranded because I didn't want to pay the extra money. This company needs to hire people that want to work and get the job done. I'm not sure how triple A still has a contract with them. They need to get rid of them seeing the other bad reviews of the company demanding side money. BBB will get a note of this. read more

Hassinin from Sunshine towing provided exemplary service. He was attentive, on time, and really did his best effort for us.

We were helped with a vehicle problem by Steven! He was great. The vehicle in question had not been started for at least two years! Steven ran a check of the battery and found that one cell in it was not functioning and reccomended a battery replacement . This was after he stated to car with his nifty tool that not only jump started engines, it could also blow the tires up to thr proper inflation! My sister in law said we did not need to replace the battery at that time after Steven explained to her that she needed a new battery, among other tnings, now! So Steven finished the paper work and went on his way home. When my sister in law tried to drive away, the car stalled and stopped after going 10 feet! We called AAA back and asked if Steven could come back, which he kindly did despite being on his way home. To finish up, Steven came back, replaced the battery and made sure the car was road worthy, and left. He really saved the day for us and we wanted to let his emplyer's know how he wnt out of his way to help us out. He really went above and beyond his call of duty! Thank you, Steven!!! read more

My car overheated and broke down during rush hour on the 15 near Fallbrook. I nursed it off the freeway to parking lot. AAA told me Sunshine Towing would be out in 2 1/2 hours. I was waiting in a sketchy parking lot getting more nervous as it got darker. About 30 minutes ahead of time Humberto from Sunshine Towing called me and said he was on his way. On the phone He was friendly and professional. He arrived promptly with a smile and He spoke knowledgeably. His truck was huge and my truck was parked in a corner. It was dark and I was still rattled from my car troubles. Humberto could tell and politely asked if I needed him to Move the my truck. . He very carefully maneuvered my truck on the tow bed with ease. He took my car to my home and offloaded it just as carefully. I was very impressed with Humberto's attention to detail and overall attitude. AAA did well by contracting Sunshine Towing and Sunshine Towing has a wonderful towing ambassador in Humberto. read more
