The staff are extremely limited, extremely overworked and not able to maintain a practice of that size. Don't get your dental work done there because it's not grade a dental work better to pay out-of-pocket and have decent teeth and go to this place and let inexperienced subclass Dentist work on you and staff that don't give a shit about you one way or the other, really not a good experience would never go back. Better to take a loan and pay off the dental work and go to a real dentist and a real place that will answer your telephone calls follow through with your care plans and work with your insurance company this is not the place!!!

(Sorry ... life and death got in the way)! I had a root canal done by Dr Zhi Wei Cheug yesterday. He was gentle and kind and explained exactly what he was doing. He was constantly asking if I was in any pain and showed genuine concern throughout! I'm so glad I made the move! First dentist that I wasn't afraid of! He and his entire staff put you at ease and made me feel calm about the procedures. Fabulous office and staff... especially Lori Petersen... for keeping me informed and up-to-date on what was going to happen - and my options and the cost of all the procedures. It was an all-around fabulous experience and I'm so glad I'm your new patient. See you soon for my follow-up and in September for my cleaning!!

The admin staff were attentive and friendly from my first call (so important!) and upon arriving at the office. The office itself is immaculate and nicely designed. She exudes calm talent and professionalism, something which is so important in a "high stress" environment like a dental office. The other staff who cycled into the exam room all seemed nice and relaxed- in general Q Smiles Dental Wappingers feels like a lively yet relaxed place with happy colleagues who like what they do.

In fact, it's kind of a not-so-awful experience. Now, that's a pretty good review for a dental office! Haha but here goes my real review... I came in for an emergency check up due to some pain, and the receptionist, hygienist, and doctor were all amazing. They were patient and attentive, and explained everything to me in detail. I immediately got on the 2 month long list to book my routine cleaning with them. In my defense, covid has been hard. I'd avoided going outside at all, much less any medical office, for the entirety of 2020. I was long overdue for a cleaning. Denise Denise Denise!!! The hygienist was nothing short of magical. She was friendly, calm, and amazing at communicating. She talked me through every single step she took and kept me comfortable throughout the process. I have to say, she was really 80% of why I'll be coming back. Dr Mansperger is great too - he made me feel very comfortable and was willing to answer all my dumb questions. He didn't make me feel rushed or silly, and gave very helpful tips on how to improve my dental care at home. I feel like everyone who works here has amazing chair side manner - I would highly recommend them. They are fantastic with nervous patients like myself.

I twice complained to Dr Paes about the bullying and lack of professional skill by Dr Park, but he did nothing. My wife and I found this new dentist office through our Insurance company and Google Reviews…read morebecause of our old dentist retiring and issues with the old dentist office procedures. For a first visit we noticed this dentist office was more technically advanced than our old dentist with more modern equipment. We are taking off a star because Dr. Kay doesn't deal with the business side of things which can be a good thing because then he can only worry about the best treatment for your teeth instead of being distracted by the business side of things. We found out from the office manager is is one of several locations owned by two dentist brothers. The one star down is because they do not have a sliding scale for low income people and charge New York City Prices in Dutchess county. The insurance companies are able to negotiate a discounted price but if you need major work and are on a limited income and have trouble covering the deductible they don't negotiate on a sliding scale do to your income but rather refer you to care credit so you'll probably be dead before you pay off your dental care. With the volume of patients running through this place they could have a little more compassion for lower income people or even donating some dental time back to the community. I'm not very happy with the business side of things but will update on future visits as the work I need will take time that my last dentist couldn't get to because he was to busy.
