The process and the results were exactly as he described. The staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and are able to clearly explain the details of a simple and effective process.

However, we each had to replace our last retainer at a cost. We opted to used their own 3D printer retainers to save $, but after ours came apart, just normal "wear & tear" we were charged $150 & given Invisalign brand. In our original contract if a retainer breaks and we still have the mold the cost was $50. If they can't guarantee their own line of retainers to hold up then the final retainer we leave with shouldn't be their own, give us an Invisalign then and factor this into the package price from the beginning. Again, great service, would recommend but I don't like the extra charge after services were rendered.

They sneakily administered the numbing shot, holding my daughter down when she rightfully panicked. Then the dentist kept saying he was brushing instead of drilling, using toothpaste instead of the actual materials, etc. THIS IS HOW YOU CAUSE MEDICAL TRAUMA AND DISTRUST. Please, regardless of your patient's age, treat them with respect and talk them through the procedures honestly. We came to office for a little over a year and were very understanding that they were always booked solid and my children's appointments were made on different days etc. We live over an hour away and the last checkup we ran 10 minutes late and the front desk made me choose which child I would have seen after begging them to squeeze both kids in due to the fact we always showed up early to every appointment never cancelled as well as understood staff running late. They were being unprofessional and very spiteful saying because I questioned them they refused to squeeze me in that day but would squeeze me in a different day tht was juat as packed and my child still wouldn't receive full checkup. They told me if I would have called there was a chance both kids would have been seen even after me explaining I was driving to get there on time safely and would not make calls while driving because we dont have a car with hands-free calling etc. It is unfortunate how rude their front staff is and I would never recommend the office because of them. I have United Health Care Medicare Advantage Choice Plan 3 which has sixteen (16) Dental In-Network providers (Ulster County). Before making an appointment I confirmed with my UHC Plan that Oral examinations and Cleanings were covered by them (Ticket #: S507962091) as long as I had any of these two done by an in-network provider. I called the said Dentist Office to make an appointment and informed the clerk/receptionist of the type of insurance coverage I have, etc. She assured me that there would be no problem billing would be done in the proper manner. NOWFOR THE FUN PART: A day or two prior to 12/01/2021 I received an "AMOUNT DUE" of $6.28 - in turn I sent an E-mail dated 11/30/21 4:44pm to the "Hudsonvalleyofc@dentalcarealiance.com stating the above coverage mistake. Not knowing if the E-mail was given to the proper employee, the next day (12/01/21) went in person to the Dentist Office and after a fashion was presented to a Nicole. To make a long story short, Nicole checked with my insurance company, etc. and had to call me back as she was just so busy. During the call back she stated that I had received services from an out of net-of-net work provider and I was being charged according to the Offices Fee Schedule. He asked a question and I started to answer and he put a gloved hand right up in front of my face! He wanted my daughter to answer, but I didn't know that. Her braces were on for about 28 months. Too long in my book, for teeth that were not horribly crooked to begin with. Mostly just a space between the front upper teeth. He is only available on Thursdays and is usually booked, so if you miss your appointment or have to cancel, you may be waiting an additional 6 weeks from the original appt. Forget it if you want to pop in because something is hurting your child or something breaks! He also can not take questions. He becomes very rude and rough. Rude to me, rough on her. Was there yesterday and my daughter said she felt sorry for me because he was being so rude to me when I politely asked a question about her front teeth continuing to spread out and a bottom tooth that is sticking out and causes her to bite inside her lip. He pretty much said we were lying about it, without using the "L" word. Would never recommend him to anyone! Used Dr. VanVliet for my son (he was so good) and although he was out of network, it didn't cost that much more and it was worth every penny!!
