He reviewed the report from my endodontist that performed the root canal due to an infection in this tooth and Dr. Z said it sure was a bad infection! This crown was recently put in by another dental practice and was left untreated for months after it was sensitive to hot & cold temperatures. "Batman" said I had too much going on with my teeth and that he would not treat me. My lower jaw and gums have been hurting for a while due to impacted wisdom teeth that 2 oral surgeons are afraid to extract and other specialists misdiagnosed me with TMJ. Due to the fact that I have problems , he stated that my case is too complicated and he referred me to a specialist, which is defined as the branch of dentistry that deals with the restoration and maintenance of oral function by the replacement of missing teeth and other oral structures by artificial devices. Note that I do not have any missing teeth and that Dr. Joel Zaritski didn't even take the time to look at my in my mouth and at my teeth. I even asked, "you mean you wouldn't even do a filling out some cosmetic bonding?" NO he answered, nothing as he stood as far away from me as he could with his arms crossed! Make sure your dental work doesn't take much work or intelligence as this practice doesn't seem to want to work, think or do business with someone who needed a bit of compassion! She's sharp, attentive, and clearly knows her stuff. I felt reassured by her knowledge and up-to-date expertise in dentistry. Pine Street Dental is located inside a multi-use medical building in Kingston, NY. The moment you walk in, you notice the spotless environment and that same level of cleanliness, carries right into the dental office itself. It's a well-kept, professional space that instantly puts you at ease. Dr. Nora's gentle touch and calm demeanor immediately put me at ease in the chair. She consistently checked in with yes/no questions, allowing me to respond non-verbally with a simple hand gesture while treatment was in progress. She explained everything that she would be doing, form x-rays to cleaning, and performed all of this PAIN-FREE! I then saw Dr. Lina - another wonderful lady. She explained how she would address the issues that I had with a couple of my teeth, and just like that, I was finished, and Nikki was scheduling my next appointment. They have two locations: one in Highland NY and one in Poughkeepsie, NY. Both offices have similar hours, they are closed on Wednesdays and close around 2 PM on Fridays. Thursday is the day that they stay open late, until 7 PM. The staff is very friendly and personable. The dentists are very accommodating. For example, in order to get numb, I need a higher dosage than most people. At first Dr. Lina did not believe me, but she quickly understood and gave me an appropriate dosage. They also will tell you ahead of time if what you require is outside their scope, and they can give you referrals when possible. They listen to your concerns and double check everything to make sure your teeth and gum are healthy. They also send reminders for cleanings and check-ups in the mail and via text. Overall, I am very impressed with this office and would recommend them.

A few weeks ago I visited a dentist and was told I needed a number of things done - 11 cavities, 1 crown, a night guard (even though I told this dentist that I didn't grind my teeth, nor did I preference one side while chewing), as well as a deep gum cleaning. The total charge out of pocket was going to be 4k after my insurance. I decided to get a second opinion from Dr. Gasperini. Dr. Gasperini was so kind and gentle and explained everything that he was going to do before doing it. I never had any of those awkward moments where my mouth was left open needlessly. Very aware of the comfort level of his patients. In the end, Dr. Gasperini told me I needed only one filling! Only one filling! I trust this doctor completely, and have found my new dentist.
