Milner Bruce Dds - Xray if my head and new implants! - General Dentistry Near Me - Woodstock, New York

Bruce is efficient and kind and kind of transcends dental in the amusement he provides, often spontaneously, in creating a relaxed vibe in a place that we normally have trouble relaxing in. Thanks ,Bruce! read more

Transcend Dental is simply the best! I have my teeth cleaned 2 to 3 times a year and once when I cracked a crown eating a slice of pizza that had an un-pitted olive I went to bruce and left the same day with a new crown - perfect! The entire staff is friendly as is the whole vibe of Transcend Dental. Highly recommend! read more

I had a transformative dental experience with Dr. Bruce Milner, D.D.S. at Transcend Dental, 2 Maverick Road in West Hurley, New York. My dental dilemma was addressed quickly and without judgement. I was welcomed by his friendly staff in his comfortable office. I'm joining his fan club and giving him five stars. Misty Lucas, Woodstock, New York. read more

To begin any experience at Bruce's tooth joint , you go through a phenom by the name of Brigitte (sp?). Once she meets you you're known. An odd and charming characteristic possessed by few. Like Cheers for my ol' timers..." Norm". It might not be the dental place for everyone. Some of us like a very structured environment with white walls and a cold, sterile surrounding. With Transdental a patient will be awed by the art and get excited when a new room shows more new art. Not to get it twisted, shots still hurt like a MF in the tender palate and he doesn't care. read more

Dr. Bruce Milner and his staff are the kindest and most compassionate dentists I have ever been to. Transcend Dental is truly Transcending how Dental Practices should operate, focused on care and the community. I was having a Dental Emergency in which I was in excruciating pain, had visited the ER Twice in one weekend, in which I was prescribed escalating pain medications for what they said was an exposed nerve after a filling fell out in my back molar. I was able to snag an emergency appointment that Monday from a different dentist, who just evaluated me and told me to make another appointment in 2-3 weeks for extraction. I was in so much pain, that I was feeling the throb in my tooth even through the pain medications, hadn't slept more than an hour at a time in 4 days, hadn't had real food in 5 days, and was slowly losing my mind as I had been losing the ability to even walk without being in excruciating pain, especially at night. I went on a mission and called every office and oral surgeon that was in network with my insurance, all were booked out 4 weeks-6 months. then somebody recommended Dr. Milner and his staff. I immediately called their office, and told them what was going on. I was met with compassion and empathy, a level of caring that I had not yet received from any other dental office in over a week. I was told to immediately come in so they could take out the tooth. I walked in at 11:25, expecting to be waiting a while since I was being squeezed In, and I was taken in and numbed within 15 minutes of walking in. Every staff member and Dr. Milner assured me I would be taken care of and would feel so much better. I was immediately at ease. I have sensory issues, particularly when it comes to sounds, textures, and feelings. Dentist offices always give me anxiety, but not Dr. Milner and the Transcend Dental practice. I never felt anxiety once. When the tooth extraction finally happened, the tooth came out within 90 seconds much to my surprise, and after I verbalized my surprise, Dr. Milner made a joke and I was actually so relaxed, I giggled! Amazing Staff! Amazing Dentist! Amazing Practice! I've already told dozens of people about the practice and I will continue to do so. I don't know what I would have done without Dr. Milner. Thank you! read more

NYS Education Department - Office of the Professions - Enforcement Actions BRUCE J MILNER; WOOD STOCK NY Profession: Dentist; Lic. No. 028311; Cal. No. 33445 Regents Action Date: May 16, 2023 Action: Application for consent order granted; Penalty agreed upon: 1 year stayed suspension, 1 year probation, $1,000 fine. Summary: Licensee did not contest the charge of writing prescriptions to a patient with no treatment record. I urge individuals not to use this dentist. In addition to being disciplined by the NYSED Office of the Professions, I believe he does substandard work and maintains an unprofessional office. Work Dr. Milner completed (two crowns) four years ago developed decay, had to be refilled, rebuilt, and new crowns (from outside dental lab as opposed to Milner's in-office) completed by another dentist. Dr. Milner accepts no responsibility in spite of two dental insurance companies stating crowns should not have to be redone in such a short time. read more

I have severe dental phobia. Ive had nightmare exeriences with many dentists. I have no fear going to Dr. Milner. He seems to have his own style of dentistry. First of all you are hardly ever in the chair for more than ten minutes. I had two teeth that were decayed below the gumline. There was very little teeth showing. My old dentist said the problem was too complex for him, i would need to see an oral surgeon. Another told me something similar and that i would have to be put to sleep for this surgery. Bruce Milner, removed both teeth with just novacaine, and no pain, in 44 seconds. (His assistant timed him). In another session, he did the first part of a root canal and a wisdom tooth extraction, in less than ten minutes, also pain free. He is very pleasant and has a very calming office. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Milner. Amazing dentist. read more

ABSOLUTELY the WORST dentist I have ever been to. On my first visit the receptionist asked my age and when I told her she said "oh too young for me"... Then the guy they had working on me had MS or Parkinson's or an essential tremor, he couldn't keep his hands still. They did the 3D printed crown that was WAY too big and it fell off within 2 days. I went back and they stuck it back on and it fell off again. Milner worked on me the 3rd time and he was condescending and completely dismissed all my concerns. The crown fell off AGAIN and when I went back he was combative and abusive. Milner is a complete and utter CLOWN!!! Don't waste your money with this pack of idiots. read more

Unbelievably Bruce Milner and his team got me in and fixed with 3D tooth technology! I had a cap fall off and I thought I'd have to wait weeks and get a temp.. but in 15 minutes Bruce and his staff in the coolest Woodstock environment stuck a small 3D camera in my mouth, put the picture on a computer, and instantly printed a 3D exact matching tooth. It went in with zero bite adjustment, no metal rim, and I was home with a new smile. Incredible! Bruce is truly what a community spirited team player is about. Can't thank them enough read more

Serene atmosphere and caring, individualized service. As a dentophobe, I first went when I had an abscess and needed a tooth pulled. i was so anxious, i was gripping the arms of the chair, and Dr Bruce started to chant over me, a sweet mellow song that made me relax. It cured me of my phobia. They have a calm, zen like decor in the office and screens in front of the dental seats where you watch placid images while listening to soothing music or whatever you choose. Best possible experience for dental work. read more

I'm horrible about dental work - like a lot of people, i had some really negative experiences when I was a kid and it has made me not only afraid of going to the dentist but I've neglected my teeth as well. So, I need a lot of work done. I'm so grateful I found Transcendental - i actually enjoy going there. The space is beautiful, light-filled and serene - and, the entire staff is friendly, compassionate and capable. Just had a cleaning and a scary procedure but it all went really well - even found myself singing in my chair to the James Taylor music they were playing while the dentist was working away in my mouth. I've got a lot of work to get done but not scared about it now. Thanks Transcendental and Dr. Milner - so grateful for you. read more

I broke a tooth last night and they very kindly squeezed me in today. Dr Milner suggested that we patch the tooth and see how it holds up before going to the expense of a crown. I was in and out in under 45 minutes and he gave me a great deal since he is out of network for my insurance. Speedy, very gentle and seems like a really nice guy. Staff were all very pleasant and the waiting room is gorgeous. Thanks, Team! read more

They are friendly here but thats about it. I had a root canal done and a tool was somehow broken off inside my mouth. They try to scare you into doing dental work that is not needed. I have since returned to a dentist I used to use. read more
