She's sharp, attentive, and clearly knows her stuff. I felt reassured by her knowledge and up-to-date expertise in dentistry. Pine Street Dental is located inside a multi-use medical building in Kingston, NY. The moment you walk in, you notice the spotless environment and that same level of cleanliness, carries right into the dental office itself. It's a well-kept, professional space that instantly puts you at ease. Dr. Nora's gentle touch and calm demeanor immediately put me at ease in the chair. She consistently checked in with yes/no questions, allowing me to respond non-verbally with a simple hand gesture while treatment was in progress. Plus, she made sure I felt heard, even when I couldn't speak. That kind of bedside manner, really sets her apart. This is the worst dental practice I have ever been to. It's all about money, money, money here…read more I paid over $1,500 for 2 simple fillings, and that's after many preliminary visits for the same 2 fillings. When I balked about the high cost, the dentist actually said that I had to pay for "chair time"! WTF?? The final straw came when I suggested having a small, removable partial made for a lower missing tooth. They took impressions, yet never asked me to look at the color of the tooth replacement for my approval. Sure enough, when I returned to have the partial fitted, not only did it not fit properly at all, but the color was way off! This partial was to cost me another $3,500, but I refused to accept it after the bungling dentist here could not get it to fit me. I also asked why they had never conferred with me about the color. After muttering amongst themselves for awhile in the back, the front desk woman came back and said "We'll call you"...which was their snarky way of telling me that unless I accepted this $ub-quality dental appliance, they don't want me as a patient anymore. So, I'm out $1,500 and need to find a new dentist just to fix the botched-up mess they made in my mouth. Keep your mouth and your wallet shut tight and look for a different dental practice than this scam outfit.

I believed him and proceeded. he installed the partial plate so tightly that within 2 years it had loosened the tooth the partial was attached to! He told me not to worry there was new material and he would make a new partial for 3 teeth! this story goes on and gets worse. Also I had recommended Jeffrey to a friend because of the great cleaning and lead fillings removal I had gotten. She went to him and had a disaster like I later had - quit him but never told me! I now having to have 3 implants for $12k - Yes I am a candidate for implants. This lying Dentist caused me to loose 3 teeth. He also referred me to a specialist and when he received a message I left advising him that the specialist could not see me on a timely manner he called me personally to recommend a different doctor and to reassure me this new specialist was also excellent in his field. Of note, I made the appointment with Dr Yuen, because after asking a couple of folks around the neighborhood what dentist they saw they answered 'Dr Yuen' and described him the same as I am now describing him to you.
