I explained that I had a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders and was hoping for focused deep tissue work. The massage I received did not feel like deep tissue. Most of it was done with elbow and forearm pressure rather than the kind of targeted deep tissue work I was expecting. There was also hot stone used, which was relaxing, but it was not what I had booked or what I needed that day. My massage therapist seemed to have some difficulty understanding me, so it is possible there was a communication issue. Either way, I left disappointed. The pricing was reasonable at $90 for 90 minutes, and I still tipped both therapists $20 each, but based on my experience, I would not return or recommend it for someone looking for a true deep tissue massage.

I entered the room and it was very neat and clean however, I noticed a paper towel covering the headrest, which is not typical for a higher end spa. I was left to undress and get onto the table. My massage therapist began working with little to no communication only asking once if I wanted more pressure. This was NOT your typical Swedish massage. There was a lot of basic motion and a couple of times the therapist straddled herself over my backside on the table - I'm guessing for leverage?? Quite frankly, I feel as if I wasted my money - I could've gone down the street to a different establishment for the same level of massage and saved $100. This is the total opposite experience and the quality of the massage did not match the rate compared to the first time I was here. I kept hoping it would get better but it did not. When I rolled over toward the end of the massage I saw that the door to my room was ajar the entire time I was in there and I could see out into the hallway so I know people could see me as they walked past. It s very clean, organized and staff is friendly and the halo salt therapy is cool. But based on this experience I will not be returning. Maybe something has changed in the last month or so? I have had 2 food surgeries in one year and my physical therapy did not help, and actually made it worse. I ended up scheduling an hour massage twice a week for 3 weeks with Leah, because Leah is that great. My walk change to normal and I feel like a new person.
