One of the most impressive parts was how much they supported us beyond just the floors. They arranged for someone to pack up our entire home, which was a lifesaver with a toddler. Estrella was amazing with my toddler and worked so quickly and thoroughly. She made our home look like it was from Pinterest! They also helped get us approved for a rental, and we were able to stay comfortably in a local Airbnb while everything was being completed. The quality of the work is outstanding. Our floors look absolutely beautiful and the craftsmanship is truly top tier. They went above and beyond by helping get our air ducts cleaned through insurance due to the dust from the project, and they were extremely thorough in protecting everything in our home during the process. What really sets them apart is the level of care. They didn't just complete the job, they made sure our entire home and family were taken care of. They even helped with unpacking and getting everything organized when we moved back in, which made the transition feel effortless. Honestly could fully trust them with our home, which is rare. Initially we contacted Tony for some concrete work we wanted done in our backyard. He met us at our house with Hameed and his concrete contractor. We ultimately decided to have a large portion of our backyard/pool deck done and overlayed with stamped concrete. While they were there, Tony asked if we minded if he took a look at our roof. He pointed out multiple issues we had, and explained to us that he knows how to work with insurance companies, and he could get us a new roof with little out of our pocket. Tony is very intelligent and well versed when it comes to roofing. We agreed to contact our insurance and have an adjuster come out. Tony came out again when the adjuster came out and did most of the discussing with him. Insurance agreed we needed a new roof. Score!! Anyway, he was booked out quite a bit with his roofing jobs, but they were able to start the concrete work almost immediately. During the concrete process, there were a few issues that slowed the process up(holiday, weather, finding a pool leak, etc.) The process took a little longer than expected, and there were a few issues we wanted worked a little more, but in the end, we are super happy with the final product!! It looks really good and we love it! A few short weeks later, Tony worked our roof into his schedule. He was able to get insurance to pay for replacing all of our decking with thicker stuff, he upgraded us to 30 shingles, and gave us all new drip edge. All of that only took 2 days. The roof process was so smooth and seamless, and looks amazing! Tony is definitely my roof guy moving forward! Tony and Hameed are great guys, I am pleased to have met and worked with them. Sunshine Roofing & Remodeling - if I could give them 25 stars, I would!! They are by far the best contractors I have hired in the 20 years that I've owned my home. They did a full kitchen renovation for me, where a wall was removed and new cabinets, new countertops, new appliances and new flooring were all installed. Hameed and his team really set the tone when they came over to do the initial walk-through to see if the project could begin (it could not), and instead of saying "Hey lady, we have alot of other jobs we could be doing, why don't you let us know when you're ready for real?" - they said, "Do you need help? We can help you pack!" I thought that was the best reaction I could have hoped for. Hameed and I were in constant contact daily throughout the project, whether it was by text, email or a phone call. He made sure that I was aware of any issues encountered or whether I needed to come by to make a solutioning decision in person. He and I, and even the crew foreman, Mike, went on numerous visits to countertop slab warehouses so that I could find one that I really loved. They finished the project on time, with minimal follow-up visits for little things I found as I moved back and started using everything. Hameed made sure that any issues were addressed the same or next day. This was really the one chance I had to get my dream kitchen, and Hameed and team made that wish come true. I'm so smitten with my new kitchen! Tony with Sunshine Roofing promptly came to my dad's house to visit with us and assess his roof needs. He worked diligently as my dad's advocate (and fight State Farm) on paying the claim for a clearly hail damaged roof. Tony waited patiently while my dad assessed options and considered other bids (all the while trying to assist in getting State Farm to pay on the claim. Tony special ordered the level 4 shingle to save my dad money on future insurance premiums, discounted his pricing as a senior and vet, and special ordered the lighter colored roof single color my dad preferred. When the time came to roof, Kevin was assigned as the project mgr - he, Tony and the crew went above and beyond in rebuilding my dad's antenna post, replacing rusted flashing by the chimney and skylight (with barely an added charge on the final bill). If there were more stars available, I would give them. I had a leaky roof valley during the rainy part of the year in the metroplex, so I was eager to get the problem fixed. After speaking with several roofers and lots of frustration, Sunshine Roofing came across my plate due to a friend's recommendation. At this point I just wanted the problem fixed and didn't care if the roof looked mismatched. Tony cared! Sunshine Roofing fixed the roof, matched the tile color, and it looks great! Tony was very personable, easy to stay in touch, he kept me informed of what materials they would use, when materials would arrive, when the workers would arrive and he even volunteered the workers names. My wife and decided to replace all the flooring in our two-story home. This flooring was 20 years old and needed to be upgraded. When Tony came to our home to provide us with a quote, we discussed some other possible upgrades we had been considering. This included painting the inside of our house, changing the size of our island so that it was a lot bigger, new flooring downstairs and carpet upstairs. I highly recommend Sunshine Roofing for any exterior repair projects, both big and small. They are very easy to work with and completed all of our repairs in a professional, timely, and cost effective manner. After a hail storm, our property sustained substantial exterior damage leading to us to file an insurance claim. Another great experience with Sunshine Roofing--and this time it wasn't a roof! The project was for foundation piers, siding, lighting, fencing, and window frame painting! Tony and Maureen were always available for questions and were often on site to review each stage of the work. They even drove us around to look at house colors, which was such a thoughtful extra touch. They were on site when our insurance adjustor inspected the roof and pointed out all the damage they saw. Once the insurance claim was approved, they sent two crews for the job and it was completed in one day. They completely covered our courtyard area and the clean up was very thorough. They continued to work with the insurance adjustor until the claim was finalized, final payment was made and the city inspection was done. We couldn't be more pleased.
