I been coming to this place for at least 2 and they started off with great deep tissue massage and reflexology, however I am upset and disappointed with their aggressive behavior of demanding $1 charge for every card transaction and demand 20% tip after the massage services. No where do they have this posted anywhere in customer view or for an inspection to be able to see it because it is not legal to scam their customers. They have it typed and written on paper hidden behind their desk out of customer and inspection view. It is a matter of principle besides that I tip them good it is not enough to them. It's a shame because they didn't used to be like this in the past however the last year they make you feel uncomfortable asking for more money. read more

I really wanted to like this place since it's so close to home and really clean, but I am very disappointed. I scheduled an appointment for 3 people and they said it was ok. 2 of us got there and I said the 3rd person was on their way. They told us we can get started first then when the 3rd person comes someone will work on her. So as we got started the 3rd person arrived and waited about 40 minutes and NO ONE started on her. She went outside for a bit and the guy in the front desk didn't even give her an update on what's going on. I got up from my massage thinking she was already done and the lady that massaged us said she left because no one available to give her a massage because the masseuse left and they didn't know my number to call me. WHAT?! I made an appointment for 3 people. You guys don't have caller ID to call me back?! Or couldn't tell us right when we got there that there's only 2 people massaging?!?! Told the guy in the front all that and he didn't seem to care. Not even a sorry. As for the massage.. it wasn't good at all. I've been to tons of reflexology and this was one of the worst. I got an older guy and he seriously shook the life out of me. It was not a bit relaxing. Sorry Sunshine Relaxation but we won't be back. You guys should have dealt with this situation better. I used to go here all the time back when "Mya" was the owner/manager. I decided to try it out again and I was disappointed. So I called and they were quick to get me in without any appointment or anything. I always liked the flexibility. Moving on, I arrived and had to use the bathroom then I was greeted by 2 ladies who showed me where I'll be. They have curtains to separate so you can hear others and i always try to be quiet. I was told to take my bra and shirt off completely for the massage by the lady who was gonna be massaging me. Of course there was a language barrier but I knew what she was saying cuz she tried to take off my bra and shirt! I thought that was very inappropriate! I said no I don't feel comfortable and she just laughs. That becomes the new norm I guess. To laugh when something makes a customer uncomfortable. I dressed to my comfort level except since I was wearing jeans I had to take them off in order to get a nice leg/foot massage. So she started the massage and I'll admit she did well on the feet but the rest of the massage was meh. It was time to flip over and I had just a towel covering my ass and she took it off and exposed my entire back side! How is that ever ok? I should never be exposed like that. I couldn't believe it. Very uncomfortable. I decided to let it go and try to enjoy the massage. Several times while doing my back she kept rearranging the paper around my neck like where my hair could get in the way but it's loud in my ears when you're doing this multiple x and going so fast. Not relaxing at all. Not to mention also how she breathed on me when I was sitting up and she was doing my shoulders. Her breath was gross and I felt her breathing all over me! Ugh. I also had to stop her a few x too cuz she was digging in with her elbows and hurting me! And she wouldn't stop till I had to almost yell at her that she's hurting me. I ended up having to go to the bathroom and I tried telling her that. She brings the other lady from the front since she doesn't understand me. They tell me to go and I said uh I need to get dressed. Idk who these people think they are. I get dressed and go to the bathroom and go up to leave. I expected to pay but figured I'd let the front desk know. I told the lady up front cuz the first thing she asked me was did she go too hard? And I said yes. And she still charged me the full amount even though I don't think I even was there the full hour. She even told me the lady "Coco" who did my massage wouldn't be working there anymore. I found that odd why she would tell me her worker will no longer be there? As I was leaving she says see you next time. I told her there won't be. I won't ever be back! This place used to be great and I know they got a lot of good reviews on here but trust me this was bad! They have $30 foot massages, upon arrival I was greeted promptly by Tina and she was wonderful! Included is a mini hand and neck massage while your feet are soaking in warm water to prepare then towards the end they have hot rocks and warm towels they rub on your feet. I've paid more for a massage and now I know why. The room was so dark and each bed is separated only by a curtain. My masseuse left me alone so many times while she went to get a warm towel and for other reasons, I don't know why. When she told me to roll over, I could see out into the hallway on both sides of the curtain. She didn't keep me covered while working on various parts of my body. Once she uncovered each arm and each leg for the massage, she kept me uncovered rather than covering up those body parts again. I wasn't impressed with whatever lotion she used on me and the jazz music being piped throughout was being overlapped by some nature sounds music coming from the other side of the curtain. I will not be going back here. I prefer a private room with quiet music and a masseuse who doesn't keep leaving the room. I prefer to have my privacy respected and only the body part being massaged should be exposed and then covered up when that area is done. read more

THEY TRIED TO STEAL MY CELL PHONE!!!! After my massage I had walked out and accidentally left my cell phone sitting on the side table. Once I got into my car I quickly realized this and went back into the establishment. I told the front desk clerk that I had left my cell phone, he quickly replied and said they hadn't seen it. He didn't offer to let me look so I took the liberty of walking back to the room myself (which by the way is only made of hanging sheets) and started to look for my phone. The massage therapist, front desk person and some lady immediately followed me back. I looked on the side table where I had left it and could not see it anywhere on, in or near the table. I asked the front desk clerk to call it so that I could listen and to try locate it, and as he was dialing my number, all of the sudden the massage therapist reached under the NEW set of sheets on the massage bed and pulled out my phone!!! He said, "oh here it is, I found it"... I couldn't believe my ears! I NEVER ONCE HAD MY PHONE WITH ME ON THE BED. Also, they had already changed the sheets and made up a new bed for the next customer where MIRACULOUSLY my phone appeared. I try to get a massage every week but average 30 a year. Found the coupon in the money mailer and thought the 90 minute would be worth a try. Did not know what to expect but thought for a tru evaluation I would just let the masseuse do his normal routine. They provided the swim type shorts although I had my own in the car just in case. Starting with a herbal foot soak while he did the face and scalp neck massage and pressure points I thought was some sort of asian ritual. Felt like he knew what he was doing. Then the reflexology on the feet was a nice relaxing time well spent before getting to the full body massage. My herbal water was flushed right after my feet came out. They use a lot of freshly steamed towels to wipe off any traces of lotions followed by dry warm towel skin rub after body section has been massaged. Seemed like i was getting a expensive high end spa treatment for a very low price. The masseuse didnt talk at all but made gestures when it was time to reposition. I had no problem with understanding his signals. perhaps they do that to keep any chatter down that would be disturbing to others in adjacent booths. This may be considered not friendly or rude but I accepted it as part of that culture and was rewarded with a very thorough workout which seemed a combination of deep tissue and Shiatsu. I am a muscular guy and appreciate what some might feel as rough handling. If I wanted a touchy feely light rub I might ask for one of the female masseuses. But the one called Peter has me hooked on coming back. My second 90 minute last week was pretty much identical so i believe he has a set routine and if you want a really good strong hands muscle cleansing workout then Peter is the man. read more
