I had a bad experience with Kevin Michael, owner of Sunshine Paving & Sealcoating. Please do not rely solely on the enthusiasm and words of a person who is not responsible for the mistakes made when working. He started updating my parking lot in May 2025. I thought it would take a week to do it. The next day a new, very professional company showed up and Michael disappeared. He never came to tell me we were done. If there was a defect, I'd be here, he just disappeared. The next day it rained and a lake formed. I contacted him and he said he would fix it the next week. It's been 2 months and he still hasn't shown up. I paid $7,300 and I think I overpaid for poor work. The other contractor he brought in told me he would do it for $5,000, that there was no reason to pay that much for a small parking lot. Make sure you do not do business with this person. read more

One of your employees who was driving one of your pickup trucks tonight on I-290N forced me to the side because he wanted to try and get ahead of me right before a lane ended. He then proceeded to cut off the truck in front of me at the exit at Kelley Square by waiting until the last second to exit even with a truck beside him and not indicating in any way that he wanted to exit before that last second - no turn signals, no using the exit lane, etc. A driver like that will end up causing an accident and perhaps kill someone and now that you are being made aware that your driver is a dangerous driver, you may be held liable for allowing that driver to continue to drive your commercial vehicles without some form of corrective training. I can tell you that I will not use your company or recommend you to anyone else. After all, if your driver is that bad of a driver, what does that say about their ability to do their job well? They are likely to be just as bad at their work as they are at driving. read more
