I can't say enough about this wonderful tasting room and gift shop. All of my sensory buttons were hit to the highest level. Upon walking in under the enormous happy sun logo, outside I was mesmerized. By the way, the logo alone drew me in. The atmosphere of the inside of the old mill is warm and inviting. I love plants and antiques which are everywhere. There are several cute and well curated seating areas for large and small groups. I chose the area with the most plants and a large comfy mid century modern turquoise and green couch. My group was 4 we sat in this area comfortably. Only 2 of us had wine tastings the others had beer. What a nice surprise to have beer for the non wine drinkers. Our server was wonderful, kind and patient. The wine was delicious. The tasting consisted of 5 wines 2 whites (one of which was a welcome tasting of 2021 Pino Gris) and a 2021 Viognier and three reds 2016 Pinot Noir, 2019 Sangiovese, 2019 Malbec. We loved them all. As we sipped our wine we walked, shopped and took in the beautiful landscape of the outdoor seating area. This winery is the perfect place for a girls trip or date day.

Super cool place to just visit and poke around. A lot of the old mill equipment is still there, as part of the decor, and they've turned it into a neat meeting space for small as well as large groups. We met one of the proprietors, and she was a fun and enthusiastic source of info. Plenty of kitschy fun items to buy as well as a nice menu. A cool place to visit; we'll be back.

EXCELLENT! Hard to find where to go but when we did it was a very unique environment. Inside of the tasting room was unusual many different areas to sit, many couches/ sofas, chairs tables, the deco was unique. Probably could use some A/C or a fan to move the air, was a bit warm. We ordered sangrias, I am not much of a wine drinker but the sangria was delicious.

Great venue to have an elegant party wedding anything

This place is truly amazing you walk in and it's just wow great place for a date meet up with friends or just go in there and read a book and have a glass of wine. Super super cool if you like McMenamins, this is a step above.

Super awesome! The guy came outside and helped me park my camper. Let us bring our pup outside. It's gorgeous on the inside. Great customer service. Oh yeah... the wine is great too!

On the spur of the moment we saw the building & decided to stopped. It was amazing. The building was an old flour mill & how they incorporated the wine tasting area within the mill was amazing. We did the wine tasting & each wine was very good. The owner was very helpful & friendly. If you are in the Dalles & enjoy a glass of wine, this is a must go. The ambience is spectacular - love seeing an old space live again, plus wonderful wine.

Such a great funky and appealing place to hang out. An old flour mill pretty much intact. Super friendly people and as a bonus they make really nice wines.

What a rad build-out! It's like you're inside an old machine complete with belts of buffalo leather. It's the highest skyscraper in town and the perfect sign to seduce a driver for a few minutes from I-84. They have fondue! The grilled cheese was Swiss and goat. Had to collect a second one with my friends. We began the lunchtime tasting with the crisp Nirvana. And it was served by a girl wearing a t-shirt of the same band. It was meant to be. The Sangiovese was hidden from the list and was a welcome addition. The Malbec was a good cap to the tasting. It was perfect for finished the discs of dark chocolate. Thank you for the take-away Copa cup. Quite the warm parting gift!

Such a cool spot in The Dalles! We stopped through for a tasting and had great service and wine. Food menu looked delish but we didn't have time to eat. Need to come back soon!

This place is very cool. I wish I lived closer, I would love to invite all my friends and have a quiet atmospheric time drinking wine and eating cheese. I must stop if you're traveling through the Dalles, Oregon. Very cool how they transformed an old flower mill into a winery area.

Located right on 2nd Street in The Dalles, it's a great place to stop if you're wandering the various tasting rooms and bare pubs in the area. Since it was my first time here, I did the flight. The first wine, the Locomotive, had me with the very light taste with hints of honey and papaya. Not one to typically drink whites, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. On a warm or even hot day, this would be perfect. As I made my way through the tasting, I found that I was enjoying several of their wines. The High Tension, their club favorite, was a full bodied blend of Syrah, Merlot and Barbera. A perfect everyday drinking wine And good for parties where you need a wine that pleases many palettes. The other standout for me was the Barbera. Very smooth, full body and slightly jammy. Since I'm in a Barbera club at Cascade Cliffs, I left with the Locomotive. I'm looking forward to a warm spring day to sit in my deck and enjoy with friends. The tasting room inside is small and simple. A picnic tables and seats out in the paved area out front, nice on a sunny day. I'll definitely be back.

We were thrilled to be there on one of the first sunny days in a very rainy 2022 Spring, so we sat on the sunny patio with the bright blue skies and native plants as the backdrop. We were greeted with a glass of Cab Franc Rose, which I had never had before, and we both really enjoyed it. We selected the flight since it was our first time having COR wine and we wanted a variety. The flight arrives in a tin bucket with individual carafes of each pour. There were four plus a complimentary pour, so three whites and two reds. Of the whites, the Cab Fran Rose remained my fave and I also enjoyed the Pinot Gris which was crisp and light. I'm a fan of big, bold reds but because of the sun, the red wines got so hot that we couldn't drink them which was really unfortunate. They did include a small bag of ice in the bucket to keep the wines cool but it was no match for the sun. Next time, even if I am tempted by the sun, I will select a seating area in the shade so we can enjoy all of the wines in the tasting. To round out our experience, we ordered the charcuterie for $35. COR continues to be very careful with Covid protocols so the charcuterie is a kit that you put together. Olympic Provisions salami, a box of hearty crackers, Marcona almonds and casteveltrano olives in mason jars, and a soft cheese were provided; all delicious. Service was warm and friendly, they answered our questions thoroughly. Some customers like to have the staff pour each taste and explain the wine; at COR you pour your own and info on the wines is provided on a card. I prefer it this way so I can drink at my speed and our conversation isn't continuously interrupted with a description of the next wine. Everyone has their own preference but this style works for me. Will definitely be back!
