Workers come to work with dog hair on them, you never see anyone wash their hands, you dropped your kid off in one person or two people's care but while your gone someone else you never met will be taking care of your child. They pull teachers from the other building. Blame everything on being short staffed or the parent or the child, accountability is definitely lacking. While there are select few who actually care it's definitely not enough to leave your child here trust me! The prices don't even make sense you're basically paying for full time services even if you need part time. There's literally nobody to advocate for you if anything happens such as incidents or mishandling paperwork or payments. You want your child to attend a place they are happy to be tour and just get a feel for the kids personalities you can tell the worst part of their day is attending this place. If you're looking for any type of interactive learning here you won't find it. If you're looking for someone to actually pay attention to your child or build some type of bond with them you won't find it here. It is truly scary this establishment hasn't been looked into for several things actually.

I have had multiple issues with MKS Learning Center. From dealing with the disrespectful and…read morebelittling director, Mrs. Freeman to having issues with the quality of staff for over a year. The staff are not all licensed or even certified, and it definitely shows with the quality of the business and how it runs. Majority of the "teachers" yell and speak in broken English to the children, they lack patience, and they definitely don't have a current curriculum to teach the older children. Their food is subpar and reheat days old meals. My child's teacher didn't have the patience to assist with potty training so put a pull up on my child instead of taking them to bathroom when asked. I complained multiple times of my child not being cleaned properly, as feces residue was left in the pull-up and underwear. There have been several incidents where the "teachers" didn't know what happened with my child during the day and left questions unanswered and speculations forming. There isn't any order and quite frankly, I don't think they care because they know the people in the area "need" a daycare. The director and her daughter, Ms. Rhonda, are extremely unprofessional and don't even give the parents decent courtesy by speaking to them. Ms. Freeman is a dictator and reigns over her employees like Hitler. They don't even hold their heads up and speak up when she's around. Once she walks away, they confess how horrible it is to work for her and her condescending daughter. She belittles not only the parents, but also her staff. I feel bad for them because many don't have the knowledge and skills to leave. It's either her way or the highway, even when witnesses and evidence prove otherwise. MKS hires staff who they know they can bully, because they need a job. They have no voice and no one's opinion is respected or heard. Not even the parents'. The staff look and sound like they came off the street because they can barely hold a decent conversation, let alone care for small children. Her infant teacher even gave a baby animal crackers and said, "Well i didn't know she couldn't eat that. How was i supposed to know?". They don't have proper training to work with infants and children and that stems from the Director. She is manipulative and degrading and I would recommend everyone i come in contact with to STAY AWAY from MKS Learning Center. Pay a little more and find a center that will love on your kids, teach your kids, and treat PAYING consumers with respect. Not everyone gets CAPS or subsidized childcare and not everyone is loud and ghetto. Find a place that cares and LISTENS to the parents, as well as the staff. MKS Learning Center is not for you, nor your child.

The hands-on activities and interactive learning environment keep him engaged and excited about discovering new things. Every time we walk outside, I am constantly getting questions about the sky, the moon, leaves, different animals, just anything he sees and reads. He is constantly curious and has so many questions. As a second-year student, I've seen such growth in his independence, he picks out his own clothes, makes his bed, cleans up after himself including sweeping and vacuuming if necessary. Mrs. Shahnaj is incredibly attentive and is always encouraging my child to explore at their own pace. The mixed-age classroom is wonderful for helping him develop social skills, and he is learning to communicate and cooperate with children of all ages. My son started when he was 3 and immediately Mrs. Shahnaj noticed areas he needed to improve on with his social and emotional development and started to work on correcting it. She also let me know things I can work on to improve his emotional development at home and now I can truly see a difference. We are still working on some things but there have been major changes. Montessori school operates differently than public school, which I love. The children go at their own pace and each child focuses on what they need to develop. Each child is working on different things, but every child is still exposed to all areas. My son has learned so much in his year and a half he has been there. He has developed skills I know he will use for the rest of his life. I couldn't be more pleased with the development my child has experienced during his time at Theami. It's been a wonderful experience, and I'm excited to see how he continues to thrive in this supportive, enriching environment!

At that turnover rate, my child had more teachers than classmates. There was one teacher who was there four out of the five month stint that my child and me absolutely loved! We were there solely because of her. When she resigned, I was truly heartbroken and knew that our experience there would not be the same in her absence. That very same day I put my child back on the waitlist at another facility. It was great Kiddie Kove welcomed and accepted all kids. From my observations they adhered to the teacher to student required ratio. An area of improvement is that if there is a special needs student in a classroom, then there should be an additional teacher in the classroom. I witnessed countless times where a teacher would spend significant time attempting to redirect a child, and another child would get hurt or briefly get into mischief. On 9/3/25 I witnessed this constraint and a child fell twice over a toy vacuum while the teacher was changing a diaper and verbally trying to redirect a special needs child with no success. Exactly 30mins after witnessing this, I received a call stating my child had fell and had a cut lip. The daycare center provides a clean environment. It is in a relatively newly built church that was not specifically designed for a daycare. Because of this, there are no preventative security controls to prevent random people from entering the building during pick up and drop off times. I had a very detailed conversation with the directors about this and was told 'that is a valid concern, but the Elders of the church won't agree to proposed solutions'. I do want to note that the director did suggest me unenrolling my child as a first option. The directors decided to have someone sit on the inside near the entry door; however in my opinion this still would not prevent unauthorized access into the building nor prevent them for accessing the classrooms. More than half of the time when someone was suppose to be sitting near the door, they weren't there or halfway down the hall on the phone or reading a book. Daily schedules included tv time, story time, art projects, music, limited outdoor/gym play, and basic introduction to numbers and letters. There was a $50 charge for Spanish learning which entailed a pre-recorded video being played of a teacher teaching Spanish. Personally, I didn't understand why it was charged separately; if a pre-recorded video was the approach to teach Spanish then I'm not understanding how it differs from other You-Tube videos that could be played teaching Spanish. It was also advertised on their website that extra-curricular activities included dance and martial arts, these activities did not occur during our enrollment period. There is no consistent framework of criteria communicated to parents regarding milestones a child must meet to advance to the next level up classroom. My experience was that my child was in the younger-ones classroom and I had to specifically request my child be moved to the older-ones class (my child was 19 months at the time). During our five months of enrollment, there were no conference or forums that allowed routine direct interactions between parents and directors. The directors did not appear to be there daily as I may have seen them once or twice a month. When I brought this to their attention towards the end of my enrollment period they asked what would I suggest. In response, I suggested that it would be nice if they were there during one of the 2hr pickup or drop-off window. Their response was 'That's not going to happen. I have other things to do.' Their uniforms are $24 per shirt. This is an insane markup when polo shirts are less than $5. My child was 19 months at the time, so the shirts weren't even the right size. My opinion is that the uniform requirement was simply a money-grab tactic based on the ridiculous mark-up and the fact that the official school year had already been in session a full month so why wasn't it communicated to all parents before the school year began. My overall review of Kiddie Kove is this daycare fits the capitalistic mold that many of the for-profit daycares in South Fulton where directors exploit the necessity of childcare and exploit the labor of teachers. Based on all the facts mentioned, I am convinced the directors do not run the daycare based on genuine love for children but primarily the financial gain. The high turnover rate I witnessed at this facility has much accountability that should be acknowledged at the director level. Kiddie Kove has one of the highest tuition rates in the area. I have experienced a non-profit daycare with a tuition rate that is 27% lower, have more than adequate preventative security, longer operation hours, teacher longevity, directors who are ACTIVELY involved with all students DAILY, and much more.

Yet, the management (owners) or lack of management's knowledge is the issue. They are not educators. In the more than six months that my child attended several things occurred that you should be WARNED about: 1) tuition increased $84 with no written communication. Emails were sent stating a 25 dollar increase a week. I was told that did not pertain to me no increase I was a new parent , only to find out in the portal of the increase. The director gravely resolved but the owner never responded to my request for a meeting regarding the issue. 2) No curriculum. The owner might say a team was brought in but you will never get a newsletter with academic focus for the week, no benchmark assessment or weekly activities. Lessons are on the wall but you can't have academics with inconsistent staffing. Some classes like the two years are so big you need small groups for instruction. 3) Staffing is a major issue. Some classes have consistent teachers others not so much. You will drop your child off to people you know and pick your child up to people you have never seen. Its so bad teachers in the room won't know the children's names 4) BUT THE WORST INCIDENT --- I went to drop my child off and it was 9:15. Since coming to the center the 9:00 cut off has not been implemented. I was met at the door without any communication from management and told we could not enter. I had a meeting as many other working parents, I was late. I had to take my child back home despite not being told about a policy before hand. I am not sure why you would take your child to a place that is punitive to parents --the customer. It boggles my mind that the people I pay could not have resolved an issue or implemented a policy more effectively. THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR WORKING PARENTS--- NO CURRICULUM , CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND PUNITIVE TO CLIENT. Please know my review is as a parent and early childhood professional with 3 degrees.
