EXCELLENT JOB! Called Veronica a week before scheduled cleaning, she came out over the weekend (on a Sunday morning) to inspect the home for a more accurate price estimate. She had a checklist to see what services would be included in a general cleaning request and what services would be considered an additional expense. Her final estimate was very reasonable and comparable to competing house cleaning services. She came in a few days later with her crew of 4 ladies, early in the AM and right on time. Instead of delegating the work to others, she got her hands dirty and scrubbed in with her team to make sure all cupboards and corners were tended to. Needlessly to say, after about 3 hours, the kitchen, bathrooms, hallways, living room and family room look AMAZING. If you are looking for house cleaners who take pride in their work. This is the team to call! read more

Do not waste your time, especially as much as I did. Scheduled her and her staff 3 different times to come out to clean, and every time was flaked on. Never showed up, each time with a different excuse, the last time she didn't even bother to call. I really wished I had heeded the other reviews that noted how flaky Veronica was, so please heed this one. Veronica if you're reading this, please know that your actions (or inactions) truly affect people. I have been caring for others for months and wanted to invite people to my home but couldn't find the time between multiple jobs to clean. Each time you bailed I ended up taking time away from my own family to do the things that I thought I had scheduled to be taken care of. read more

I was in need of a new cleaning service and I called this company because it had good stars and reviews on yelp. I spoke to someone and they had arranged for a cleaning a couple days later. When I waited that day for them to come, after 2 hours I didn't hear anything nor did I receive any type of communication that they weren't coming. I contacted the person and they gave me a story that they had an emergency and I let it slide but a week later I haven't had a follow up regarding Setting up another appointment or any type of communication. I was ready to contract this company for an ongoing biweekly schedule and because of this they lost business /new client. read more

One of the best service in OC! I called on Tuesday and asked if they have any available spot on this week and she set me up on Thursday 11am. They sent 2 ladies and they worked really hard cleaning my house. I sent pictures to my friend and they thought I got a new bath tub!!! I would definitely recommend deep clean your house every few months with them. read more

Great service, Veronica picked up my early morning call and was able to set me up with an appointment the same day. The girls deep cleaned my fridge and kitchen along with the bathroom and floors doing a thorough Job. A bit on the higher end for price but with 2 cleaners its a great deal. Good attention to detail, will be using their services again! read more

And I'm takin off my straw hat for you, singin' Here comes the sun again - M. Ward "Here Comes The Sun Again" Solid cleaning crew, nice people. Late to appointment setting and actual job but I understand how hard timing is in this industry. Their move out quote was in the higher end of the range but they did a good job. Would hire them again. read more

Okay, so awesome cleaners when they showed up to my place when I was scheduled. Huge issue. Messaged the owner of the company and requested a move out clean at a set time. Time came and a no show. Owner stated there was an emergency and that she would need to come the next day and I completely get that. Next day came and still no response. Stated she would let me know when they were available and never communicated whatsoever. I told her that this was my final move out clean and that I was leaving the apartment that day and she still did not respond. Horrible customer service and all of the great employees that work here should go to a different company. Will never use this cleaning service again. read more

I'm not sure if I would recommend any other people to clean your home. Sunshine HC took on the job at a moments notice. When they didn't return my call, I assumed they were simply busy. The next day I was contacted and I was on their calendar. The Sunshine team arrived on time and was ready to clean! Quickly and quietly they provided a level of work/cleaning I hadn't seen at Top Rated hotels. Every part of my home they serviced looked brand new and smooth to the touch. I was especially pleased by their attention to detail and added care around valuables we cherish so much. Thank you Veronica and team! read more

I wish I could post a review for the quality of the cleaning service but unfortunately it didn't get that far. As some of the other yelpers have mentioned, this Veronica lady is pretty flaky. I attempted to get service going and my text messages and phone calls were just sporadically answered and ultimately ignored. Either she's got more business than she can handle, in which case it would have been just professional and courteous as another human being to explain that she's not accepting new business, or as others have noticed she's a flake. Not going to chase after somebody to do basic cleaning services. On to the next. read more

I am highly disappointed, I hired Veronica to come out & clean my home 2 months ago & when she left I asked her to return in 4 weeks. She did not, I reached out to her & she sent a crew of 2 and they broke a shell tray and did not say a word about it, one of the two females was slapping the woods blinds in the dining room and mishandling them, I had to ask to go over the kitchen floor because there was still dog food on the floor, I also had to ask them to remove all things off the wood tables, buffet & consoles to treat the wood with wood spray or oil, the mirror in the bathroom was not cleaned, the door jams were left dusty, top of microwave left dusty, backsplash in the restroom not cleaned visually dirty & had to remind of not using certain solubles for cleaning because of my allergies & not enter one bedroom. This was not a good experience at all. due to the lack of work delivery as mentioned I will not reschedule nor will I refer. read more

Sunshine cleaners came out one time to my house and cleaned. They did fine and I had requested they come every two weeks and they agreed. Two weeks later, I was depending on them coming again, and I tried to confirm the day before. They never answered my calls or texts, and never showed up. Clearly if they didn't want my future business, they could have just told me they wouldn't be able to do that. But instead, they just didn't show up. Very, very poor business practice. As I can see from past reviews, this "no-show" is very common for them. Don't waste your time on them, as they don't care about you business. read more

I waited a while to write this because I was upset at first and didn't want to rate them unfairly. I had a cleaning done in August and it was very complicated; just about the worst communication with the owner Ive ever had over a service. They were over 4 hours late, and the owner would say her staff were "on the way" when they in fact weren't. She was also hard to reach during this 4 hour debacle and I was in the hospital about to come home with a new baby. However, all that being said, the cleaning itself was excellent so I'm giving them 4 stars. They were extremely thorough and fairly quick. It sounds like they are a newer business, so the logisitics just aren't smooth; the owner texted me days later confirming someone else's appointment. Prepare to be flexible with communication and time, and you won't be disappointed! read more

I referred this company/veronica to a friend of mine that was moving out of an apartment because she had done good work in the past. As everyone knows when moving out of a place you have a dead line to move out by. She agreed to clean that Friday knowing it was for a move out. She completely flaked then said she would be there Saturday. Again flaked but this time no call no show and wasn't responding to text or calls from multiple phones. Non the less we spend the Saturday and Sunday cleaning. I feel bad that I referred her to another person. read more

Great house cleaning services. I have used many over the years. Her team is thorough and professional.

I was hesitant to hire house cleaners because of the bad reviews is see here but i am glad i did thorough research about Sunshine House Cleaning. Her staff was very courteous and asked questions to know which places needed more attention. They did a fantastic job cleaning all the corners of my 2600 sq ft home. They are very detailed and doesnt rush to finish. It is definitely worth a try! I will definitely stay with them. Thank you for a job well done Veronica and team!! read more

They did an excellent job and worked very hard. I would highly recommend Veronica and her team to anyone.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to rate Veronica's service as we never got that far... We originally set up an estimate for Saturday between 6-7pm. On that Saturday at 6:42pm Veronica sent me a text to tell me that one of her employees got sick, left at noon and that she was just finishing up her day and lost track of time. I was annoyed, but things happen. She text me the next day asking if she could stop by and we made an appointment for 4pm. She arrived a few minutes early with her young son in tow. Because her son is a toddler, he was into everything in our home- chasing our cat, spilling the pet bowl of water, walking on our couch, etc. It was a bit overwhelming, but understandable as it was Sunday and not normal business hours. We negotiated a price for bi-weelky cleanings and scheduled the first cleaning for the following Wednesday at 9am. By 9:45 on Wednesday, no one had showed up for our appointment and I sent a text to Veronica. She responded with, "No worries, I will be there in 30 minutes." At that point my husband and I decided we were no longer interested in hiring Veronica and we canceled our service (that never began). Her other Yelp reviews are glowing and I can only hope she was just having an off week with us. read more

Veronica was great. She was able to do my last minute move out clean with no problem. Other cleaners were either booked for the day or in my case did not even show up. I highly recommend Sunshine house cleaning. Veronica has been coming weekly to clean my home for months now. She gives me the break I need on the weekends after a long week of daily cleaning. I like to leave my kitchen as clean as I can when I clean it myself, well... She goes above and beyond of what I do! She's amazing!!! My kitchen looks like a model kitchen from an IKEA catalog after she's through with it. My bathroom's are always white and very shiny after she cleans them, my stairs get vacuumed so well that you can hardly tell there's a dog in the house, my room also looks like a model bedroom from an IKEA catalog, and my vanity gets dusted, organized and wiped down. I absolutely love how meticulous she is and pays attention to detail. She is a very genuine, respectful, professional and nice person. I have referred her to my clients and will continue to recommend her because she really does make a huge difference in your life. You will not find a more trustworthy person to come into your home, I can assure you. read more

Veronica & her team are amazing! I sent a request via Yelp and Veronica contacted me immediately and penciled me in for a quote on getting my apartment cleaned. Veronica is professional, she presented me with a list of things her and her team will clean with a list of "add-on's". Brilliant! This gesture showed me that she wants to provide the best service to her clients, and that she does. The day Veronica showed up at my apartment to clean it, she was professional, on time and my apartment sparkled because it was so clean! There were a few areas on some tile in the bathroom that were stained or something, but Veronica showed the spots to my fiancé, and told him she spent time cleaning the floors but these spots just would not go away. I am not picky person, but this gesture, again, showed me that Veronica wants everyone to be happy with the service she provides. The areas of my apartment that were cleaned were the living room, dining room, 2 bathrooms (including showers), kitchen, bedroom and closet. I also added on a cleaning of my sliding glass door that leads out to the patio because my fur-baby just loves putting her wet nose and leaves streaks. I was so beyond excited and relived when I came home from a long day of work that the major house chores were taken care of, and taken care of in such a professional, efficient way. read more

I am completely impressed with every aspect of this business. I had a tight schedule for moving out, and had already had two cleaning services fall through. Veronica was amazing to work with, great communication and great result! She cleaned a vacant condo unit for us, which may sound simple but really is not when you think about how clean a new owner is expecting. Veronica and her team just left our house and it looks great! We have used her for our move out cleanings the past two moves and have been blown away both times. Extremely detailed. We asked a few other Yelp businesses for quotes to clean our condo before having an Open House. So we made an appointment with Sunshine and they did a great job. Even days later we were finding areas where we were surprised how clean it was. Would definitely call them again. read more

Just like another reviewer I never got as far as the cleaning with this company. I called Veronica a few weeks ago to set up a cleaning of a college apartment after the girls had moved out. I really wanted a good kitchen and bathroom cleaning and vacuuming for this one bedroom apartment. We agreed on the day and time and cost and I thought everything was set in place. Yesterday I texted Veronica in the morning to confirm our 3pm appointment. My daughter had to be out of the apartment by 5pm and I had organized for two ladies to do a one hour cleaning. Veronica texted back that she couldn't get there until 4:15pm. I no longer had time for her to clean for an hour with the 5pm deadline. At 4:25pm I called and I left a voice mail that there was no longer time and we should cancel the appointment. Veronica called me back and gave a long winded story about how her car had been parked in all day and that she couldn't get out. I told her if she had told me that in the morning I would have picked her up. Long story short, I had to clean with very minimal cleaning supplies as the apartment was empty at this stage. I think the job was just too small for them to care. Very disappointed in level of service and commitment. read more
