The entire process was very easy and professional. Zach kept us fully informed throughout the entire process and was right on top of things when we had a couple minor concerns during installation. Of course only time will tell if all is well up there again, but so far we are completely happy with Zach, installers, and the sweet office staff that walked me through paying the bill online. I would definately reccommend them to my neighors. read more

Nir the owner came out and pitched me a major $7K renovation to the gutters on my old home, including gutter glove screening to keep leaves and branches out. He was very friendly and nice during the sales pitch, but when the first season's rains came I had numerous spots that were leaking water all over the place, one of which had water running into my basement. I called and emailed many many times and had trouble getting any response at all much less getting someone to come fix it and that the repair would be under warranty. After 3 months of complaining, near the end of the rainy season, they said they would send someone. I took a day off work and waited all day. They were a no show and no call. More calling and emailing and finally someone came. They said the initial installation was clearly poorly done and fixed it, and then they sent me a bill even though they said it was under warranty. And now I am back in the endless loop of trying to fight them about the bill. I have never seen or heard from Nir since the sales call. I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM. THEY ARE ALL ABOUT THE SALE AND NOT ABOUT THE AFTER-CARE OR ACCOUNTABILITY. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AND IS TERRIBLE!!! I also think they use contractors and do not adequately control quality. read more

Sunshine Gutters and Roofing - Faulty installation that they now want to charge me to fix. Should have been under warranty. - Gutter Services Near Me - El Cerrito, California

Sunshine is excellent and I would highly recommend them for you gutter installations. My gutters needed replacement and repair and arranging the initial diagnosis was easy and fast. The tech inspected the gutter conditions and recommended fixes. Then the installers were prompt, efficient with their installation, and completed the project quickly. Also they were very polite and nice which is such an asset especially since there are other gutter services available. read more

The rusted gutters and downspout in our 30+ year old home needed replacement. I made an estimate inquiry to eight contractors specializing in gutters. Zachary, the Estimator for Sunshine Gutters took the time to explain our options and physically showed us how the galvanized steel fascia gutters would be attached. We liked how our main gutter of 18' would be all in one piece covering one side of the house, vs. several attached pieces. We chose Sunshine Gutters because of the knowledge and transparency given to us when answering our questions, the quality of the product, the fact that the company is family owned and has been in the business for so many years, bonded & insured and that the foreman, Antonio, would be working on our house as well as two of their long time staff. We also liked that they would not be sub-contracting the work. Throughout the time that they were working on our house, Antonio was available to answer questions and give advice. I felt confident that they knew what they were doing and completed the work professionally and quickly, and we are very happy with them! read more

"SUNSHINE GUTTERS" excellent, exemplary, unmeasurable, and extraordinary service was delivered to us in a very timely professional manner. From the estimate forward working with their amazing "Sunshine Gutters Boys" exemplary crew, Loni Villareal, Cruz Villareal and the 19 year old handsome-looking owner's son, Shayen Hadari, was easy, comfortable, a sigh of relief, and very professional in every way...Their seamless gutters are of the highest quality, custom-made and done right before your eyes with precision and masterful expertise with so much gusto... We are especially appreciative to 'JUAN MOLINA' who's incredibly honest, down-to-earth, knowledgeable, prompt and trustworthy. His estimate for the new gutters was very competitive, reasonable and affordable. His crew are extremely hardworking, meeting your standards, nice clean-up after the job, and they truly displayed respect and good working ethics... I have to truly express my thankfulness and deepest appreciation to their welcoming front desk and customer service people, 'CAROL DEVIA' and other incredible front office staff who's communication skills and on-time scheduling is heartwarming and truly unparalleled... Our hats-off to their able owner, "NIR HADARI" for assembling such a wonderful and welcoming crew of employees that truly represents you and your wonderful company, "SUNSHINE GUTTERS" to its highest pedestal and honor. Easy to get an estimate and on time! Scheduling very easy. The team that arrived, arrived early, always nice. The team did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves very well. In addition, all question about the job, and product were answered with no issues. I would highly recommend Sunshine Gutters for your needs. Finally, the cost was the best I found in the bay area! No hidden fees, or mark ups. read more

Smooth and professional service. The process from requesting a quote through Yelp, communication, scheduling, online payment and service were very good. I appreciate the fact that Zach was very patient and not pushy while I was trying to get through multiple quotes from other companies for comparison. Ultimately, it was his courteousness and customer service that made me decide for Sunshine Gutters. The installation crew of Carlos and Benny were also great and very professional. They did they work very efficiently and also answered questions that I had along the way. Very pleasant experience overall. I would only deduct 1/2 a star because I did not receive a call or voice mail reminding me of my installation date (which was a couple weeks out). With technology nowadays, even an automated voice mail would work and it would have made the experience that much better. Would definitely use their services again. read more

Sunshine Gutters Installed my aluminum gutters in 2014. They are holding up very well. I recently replaced my asphalt shingle roof and was required (by new Marin Co building code) to install leaf gutter guards on the 10 year old gutters. Nir (owner/estimator) and Antonio (lead installer) from Sunshine Gutters did an excellent job. Reasonable rates. read more

They arrived on time, and did an excellent job for a fair price! Zach was terrific!

I hired this company to replace some old gutters based on some apparently inaccurate Yelp reviews and was disappointed. The workmanship is poor and I wish they would have discussed their ability to complete the job correctly before starting. After the installation began I noticed numerous large gaps and mismatched corners to the point where I asked the installers why it looked so bad, they acknowledged it, took it all down, and started over. What if I wasn't there to ask? Yikes! The installers seemed to do their best to address my concerns and I became somewhat satisfied. After installation I spent two long days doing the finish work only to wake up to inches of standing water in every gutter! Isn't that the point?! Fast forward to today, the problems have been remedied to a barely tolerable quality. If you do use them test the gutters with water before they leave. read more

Read the fine print. They're out to nickel and dime you. I had a great bid experience but then found my installation did not include gutter guards. The contract I signed included pictures of gutters with gutter guards and my sales rep told me they were included. The gutter guards were not offered as an upgrade or in any way suggested that they were separate and at additional cost. Repeated emails to resolve the issue went unanswered. I finally got a call back. The owner admitted that the pictures on the contract include gutter guards and there's no obvious reason to expect them to be excluded, but threw the contract fine print at me (which does not mention guards). It feels like a bait-and-switch. With some many other vendors, why work with a dishonest one? read more

We had a great experience with Sunshine Gutters after we got taken for a ride by another gutter outfit. During the winter storms, our gutters failed and were leaking in front of the garage door and the back patio door. We scheduled a gutter company to come out and fix our gutters and they didn't show up both times. A friend recommended Sunshine Gutters and Nir came the very same day to inspect our gutters IN THE RAIN and gave us a quote on the spot. Two days later, his crew showed up 5 minutes early and didn't leave until the job was done. Throughout the whole experience, everyone at Sunshine Gutters was courteous and professional. We got a prompt inspection, prompt quote, quick scheduling and top notch quality, seamless gutters. We couldn't be happier with the service and will use them again in a few years when it's time to replace the gutters on our other house. read more

I was having a hard time to find someone to give me a quote to relevel my gutters... most people in the industry only do replacements in wint Allen came and gave me a reasonable quote, answered all my questions and got the 3 gutters done by his fantastic crew: Maxi & Antonio. They cleaned them from inside and help me to test the result. Now they look like new!!!! I saved Allen's number for future requests! He's the best! read more

If it could be a zero it would be. They made several misstakes and Lied. They placed the downspout on the wrong side and said "DON"T WORRY, will fix under the 5 yr. warranty" Now the owner had a petty business issue with my employer where I work and now she won't honor the contracted 5 year warranty. VERY entitled rude and liars. I'm suing them per her yelling "TAKE ME TO COURT" read more

My gutters needed work, replacement and covering on one side of the house, cleaning and covering on the other side. Someone came out and gave me a reasonable estimate and I signed off on it. I paid the down payment, and told them what days I was home and what days I was at work. So they scheduled it on one of my work days. I texted and asked if we could change it, no answer. I emailed and asked if they could change it, no answer. I called, and Carol (Karen? dk) said, oh, we can take pictures of the work being done, before and after, would that work? Fine. So I'm at work, and they come across a problem. They send me pictures of the problem, a solution, and and an additional charge, and I sign off on it. And that's the last I hear from them. No pictures of before and after. I left a message, no answer. I emailed, no answer. I asked my neighbors if they saw any work being done on the other side of the house, one guy said maybe. I go out to see if anyone cleaned the gutters, and yeah, there's a ton of dirt and debris all over my patio furniture. So cleaning was done. I can only trust that they covered the gutters. I had my knee replaced less than 3 months ago and I can't go up a ladder to see for myself, which is why I would have preferred this happening when I was home. THEN I get an invoice. It doesn't reflect the down payment. I emailed. I emailed again. No answer. I call. Carol (Karen?) says she emailed the pics, and transfers me to the accounting person. Who apologizes for the incorrect invoice and gives me a new final amount, also wrong. We go back and forth and we finally agree on a number, and she says she'll send me pics again. Sure and I have a bridge to sell. All of these issues were relatively minor and could have easily been managed if someone were monitoring their email and phones. But since no one is, the whole thing became a very frustrating experience on my end. I still can't say whether they did good work or not. Still haven't received any pictures. read more

I appreciated a belated call from the estimator who explained that communication failed the week I was trying to resolve the difficulties that I saw with the job. He offered to assist with clean-up, however during the week, I cleaned up the debris left behind on the face of the house, the driveway as well as the backyard. Still, a quick call goes a long way toward addressing errors. Much appreciated! read more

Well Juan is 51 minutes late because he can't find my house. He kept putting in the wrong address in his maps app. My husband and I have had over 30 contractors come to our house in the last few months and everyone but this guy has been able to find it. I'll update this again once he actually arrives and gives us a quote. Addition on Dec 7: Juan finally arrived and was very kind and apologetic. He actually apologized several times, once when he arrived and then later by phone. He was also very communicative about where the quote was in the process. Thank you Juan. I also received a call a few days later from another staff member who called to check up on me and find out if I had any questions about the quote. I appreciated this because not many contractors follow up in this way. read more

Zero stars. Stay away! It took me 5 phone calls and 5 emails to get them to fix the damage they caused to my house. They were very slow to schedule to repair it and then cancelled. I had to keep calling and emailing. They mistakenly included an internal email back to me saying I was "crazy". Oops. Awkward. Find some other company that is more professional and won't damage your house. Never again. . read more

They came out the same day I put in my request. The gentleman that came out was on time and extremely helpful. He let me know that my issue is a roof issue and not a gutter issue. Nice, professional family run business. They went out of their way to help unclog a French drain as a courtesy in addition to fulfilling the terms of our agreement. I've worked with Sunshine Gutters 3 times now and each time has been excellent. Most importantly for me, they care about the quality of their work and how things look at the end. They didn't just do the basics and leave, they asked for my approval before they left for the day, brought touch up paint to make it all look good, and responded to my every request or question with interest and understanding. Really a great team from sales to service. I've had a lot of work done around my home the past few years and very few companies have received a rating like this. read more

The rain gutter on my house was leaking, I contacted Sunshine Gutters and within two days they came out. It turned out that only one downspout was clogged. My appointment time was 1-3pm, so I was home between 1 and 3 pm -- no one from Sunshine called, much less arrived. At 3pm, I get a call from Sunshine. The representative reminded me the appointment time was 1-3pm, and I reminded him that I had been home between 1 and 3; now, it being 3pm, I asked if Sunshine was inconsiderate or unprofessional? I hate it when anyone (workmen, healthcare professionals [doctors, dentists]) think that their time is worth more than the client's time. Not showing up on time for an appointment is like not showing up on time for a job interview. If the vendor/candidate is late, what's the chance they'll get the job? ZERO in my book. read more

I had a very good experience with Sunshine Gutters. Their response was quick, their estimator was low-key and knowledgeable. I had one section of leaking gutter which they replaced with an excellent match to the rest of my gutters. They cleaned the whole system and replaced my worn plastic gutter guards with new stainless steel mesh guards. Their installers were efficient and left my roof nice and clean. The install took only a few hours. They weren't cheap but I felt that they were worth the price. Now I feel ready for the next atmospheric river. read more

They replaced the gutter and downspouts on the front of our house. As another reviewer said, they were extremely customer-focus. Zack was a joy to work with. We wanted aluminum half-rounds to match our other gutters and that's exactly what we got, pre-painted in a color that almost perfectly matched our home's trim color. We also had their top-of-the-line gutter guards installed. The workers were courteous, efficient, and cleaned up everything before they left. We are extremely satisfied. read more

The guys who came out to work on our gutters did a good job, but they broke the table on our deck. They were very apologetic and I asked for a discount on my bill. Sunshine Gutters deserves every point of their 4.5 star rating. I'm giving them a 5.0, I highly recommend them! Their seamless aluminum gutters come in a wide range of colors. One of which perfectly matched the trim on my house. The price was reasonable compared to the other companies I called. Their service was extraordinary - from the team in the office to the fact that I mostly dealt with the owner, Nir. Getting an estimate was pain-free, as they had flexibility on the appointment time and then showed up when they said they would. There was a bit of a waiting list for an installation date, because like many other California homeowners I had put off having my gutters replaced until El Nino showed up. I was impressed when they called and confirmed a few days in advance. Not surprisingly, they then showed up the day they said they would. The installation went well. There was a small drip from one of the end caps and they came back to fix it without a fuss. Nir even said if I had any problems, even month or years from now, they would take care of it. If only all business owners were so concerned with quality and integrity! A couple of months later, my new gutters remain absolutely beautiful. read more

Our gutters were starting to pull away from the house and we needed to get them replaced before the rainy season. We called Sunshine Gutters and they were super responsive. We had a quote that was very reasonable within a week and and an install date a few weeks later. It turned out to be just in time because the first storm of the year arrived a couple days later. Let me just say that the gutters held up wonderfully. The installation was seamless, the installers were friendly and professional, and the owner even stopped by to make sure everything went smoothly for us. We're thrilled with our new gutters and would recommend Sunshine Gutters to anyone who's looking for a great gutter company. read more

Unfortunately the service provided was not what was described. The price for "gutter inspection and cleaning" was well over what any other company would charge...$774 for a 3500 sq ft one story home. The job was described verbally as " inspect , clean and seal the gutters" but due to the newer condition of my system I was told no sealing was necessary and I felt like I was being overcharged. After calling the office and asking for a price reduction an ODD woman named Tamona from the "legal department" called and bull horned a speech about having listened to my conversations with the gal in the office etc as well as stating that more work had been done than actually was. THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF and I would highly suggest customers look elsewhere for gutter cleaning service.... read more
