Aly and Sunshine Events Co. were truly an absolute DREAM!!! From the second they took over, Aly had everything completely locked down, and I instantly felt like I didn't have to worry and just enjoyed my wedding. She handled everything I could possibly think of, and even the things I didn't think of, she had already taken care of of course! She is a true professional, but she's also the sweetest, most supportive and fun person to have by your side. Her energy is completely infectious, and honestly, I was mostly just so happy she was there and got to be part of our day! She kept everything running smoothly, made everyone feel comfortable and somehow made the entire experience feel calm and fun at the same time. I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Aly & Sunshine Events Co team. Every couple deserves an Aly on their wedding day, and I would recommend her a thousand times over!! read more

Christina and the entire Sunshine Events team played SUCH a huge role in making our wedding the most incredible day of our lives, and I truly cannot imagine having done it without them. From my very first call with Christina, I knew she was the one. I had done a ton of research and interviewed several planners, but Christina immediately stood out because of how incredibly detail-oriented, knowledgeable, organized, and informative she was. I got off that first call and just knew I wanted her by our side through this process. And over a full year of planning, Christina kept us on track every step of the way, made sure we always knew what needed to happen next, and despite having various changes (with me changing my mind a lot on everything from design to floral to rentals up until the last minute hah!), she stayed calm and kept us calm through it all. She handled every single curveball with so much patience, flexibility, and professionalism! And then came the actual wedding day, which is where they completely blew us away. Christina and her team were there for us every minute of the day. They made sure we were eating, drinking water, resting when we needed to, staying on schedule, and genuinely not lifting a finger. Every time I even thought I might need something, somehow someone from the team was already there handling it. I knew we were in good hands when Christina walked in that morning carrying what can only be described as a giant box of EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING someone could possibly need on a wedding day lol At one point I got makeup on my dress and before I had time to panic, Christina was right there with a spray from her box and got it out immediately. That little moment perfectly sums up what it felt like to have her with us all day: no matter what happened, she had it handled. And while she was taking such incredible care of us, she and the team were also behind the scenes making sure every single detail of the wedding was set up exactly the way we had envisioned it. We were actually able to be present, enjoy ourselves, and soak in the day. What made the Sunshine Events team even more incredible, though, was how much they showed up for us throughout our ENTIRE wedding weekend. They made sure everything was in great shape for our rehearsal dinner, and then on Saturday, when we threw a big party for our friends, Christina's team was literally there before I even arrived, helping my fiancé set everything up. A very special shoutout to Paige, one of Christina's assistants, who was FABULOUS all weekend and such an amazing presence to have around!! Christina is the kind of planner who makes you feel like nothing could possibly go wrong because even if something DID, you probably would never know about it. She is thoughtful, prepared, patient, incredibly hardworking, and just SOO good at what she does. Christina and the entire Sunshine Events team: THANK YOU!! You were such a huge part of making it the best weekend of our lives, and we are forever grateful. If you are looking for a wedding planner, I genuinely cannot recommend Christina and her team enough!!! read more

I truly can't imagine surviving wedding planning & the entire wedding day without Aly and her team! We found Sunshine Events through Instagram. We spoke with several planners prior to speaking with Aly, and once we spoke, we knew we wanted to hire her. You could tell she was detail-oriented, organized, and so friendly from the initial call. She knew exactly what kind of vibe and aesthetic we were wanting and it made us feel confident she could execute the vision. And she absolutely did! We actually had a hiccup in the midst of wedding planning - about six months prior to our wedding date, the Palisades fire affected our original venue. As soon as the closures were announced, Aly had a list of venues near the area that were available and had already reached out for their packages. Although we were hopeful to be able to proceed with our original venue, it eased our minds knowing we had some backups available. Once we were about three months out, it became clear we needed to switch venues and Aly and her team notified our vendors and made the transition so smooth. And, it turns out, she was planning her own wedding in the midst of all this! Insane. We truly couldn't have asked for a better wedding day. It was so smooth, the timeline was perfect, and we received so many compliments on the guest experience. Hiring Sunshine Events was definitely the best decision we made and the day would not have been so perfect without their detailed attention and care. We are forever grateful! read more

I cannot recommend Christina enough! I hired Christina + team for day of coordination, but it includes a lot more than that. From day one, she kept me organized and focused during planning. When the wedding day finally arrived, I felt like I could just breathe and be a bride. Christina and her team were phenomenal and handled everything with so much grace. Because of them, we were early or perfectly on time for every single event throughout the day. Booking her was easily one of the top two best decisions I made for the entire wedding (right up there with the venue itself!). And the best added bonus was she sent over a lot of photos/videos right after the wedding so we could relive some of that immediately! Thank you, Christina, for making my day stress-free and perfect! read more

Sunshine events is the best! Christina and her team went above and beyond to ensure that our day went so smoothly and perfect. All the tasks Christina gave us along the way helped so much with getting things done on time and ensuring that there was nothing left out on our big day. Every meeting was so organized and left us feeling stress free. On the day of our wedding my son who is on the autism spectrum was having a hard time, Sara and Paige went out of their way to attend to him, providing food and drinks for him and helping him feel more comfortable and at ease. I couldn't be more appreciative of the help and the care they showed us on our wedding day. They checked in throughout the night and made sure we were fed, happy and not stressed out. You should feel super lucky and blessed to get this team for your wedding planning! read more

Honestly, I had an amazing experience with Christina as a wedding planner. She really brought my Pinterest dream wedding to life! Everything down to the small details like our signature drinks we had for our turtles and one for my husband. Everything about the wedding truly exceeded my expectations. If I could use Christina for every single event, I would! She really brings a peace of mind, and locks everything down. She was extremely attentive to me as a bride as well as the bridal party. Christina and her team are amazing! My husband and I hired Christina about a year before our wedding, and she kept me sane throughout the entire planning process. We checked in monthly to make sure everything stayed on track, and she even helped us navigate the possibility of switching venues when wildfires affected the area (thankfully, we didn't end up needing to!) On our wedding day, Christina and her team were incredibly attentive- making sure we were taken care of, staying on schedule, and handling every detail seamlessly. I truly can't thank them enough for everything they did. I'd recommend Christina to any bride looking for a coordinator or planner for their big day! read more

Hiring Christina as our wedding planner was one of the best decisions we made during the entire wedding process! At first, my fiancé (now husband) wasn't sure if we needed a planner given the cost, but after our first meeting with Christina, he immediately saw the value she would bring and was completely convinced. She was warm, energetic, knowledgeable, and made us feel instantly at ease. As we continued working with her, we saw just how well organized, communicative, and professional she was. Christina always responded to our texts and emails right away, and she was receptive to our constantly evolving ideas. Her experience and intuition made the entire planning process feel effortless. On the day of the wedding, our family and friends kept telling us how wonderful she was to work with. She never left our side, had drinks ready for us at the end of the aisle, and even made sure hors d'oeuvres were saved for us while we were taking photos. Looking back, I can confidently say Christina and her team were one of the very best vendor choices we made. Anyone who hires her can trust that their wedding will be planned and executed with the utmost care and attention! read more

I wish there were more stars available to properly rate Sunshine Events! I feel like 5/5 stars just isn't enough for how amazing they are. Hiring Aly as our wedding planner was hands down, the best thing we could have done while planning our big day. From the first phone call, Aly and her team were there to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams. We could tell immediately that she had incredible vibes and that we could trust her to make my Pinterest board come to life. My fiance and I moved across the country in the middle of wedding planning, which was VERY stressful, but Aly always made us feel like we were in good hands. No idea was too big and she made sure that we got everything we wanted, all within our budget! She thinks of everything and makes it a point to truly understand what exactly you envision your wedding to be. Talking with all the vendors can be stressful at times, but Aly made it so easy and answered all questions whether it was big or small. Leading up to the wedding I had SO MANY of my vendors compliment Aly for her attention to detail in every single email about the day of timeline. Throughout the wedding weekend, I didn't have a SINGLE worry. I knew Aly and her team would execute everything flawlessly. Throughout this whole process I've joked with my fiance that I would trust Aly with my life! We truly couldn't have imagined the day without her. read more

I paid $4,250 for a planning service that was supposed to reduce my stress. Instead I spent hours every day from March through May correcting their mistakes. The errors were endless. Wrong start time to my coffee cart vendor, noon for a morning wedding. Hotel room block booked for the wrong dates after I corrected them THREE times, which would have left my out-of-town guests with no rooms on the night of my reception. Bridal henna scheduled on Sangeet night despite me telling them it needed to be the night before. They entered THEIR name and information into my coffee cart payment portal, which meant they would have received all the rewards points on my purchase and then kept telling me to just pay it anyway. The master timeline they produced weeks before my wedding still included a saxophonist I had explicitly passed on back in March. Their vendors were also wildly overpriced - nearly $90,000 for florals, rentals, and design combined. I found my own design team with far more experience who is executing everything for half that price. After terminating, I am now personally contacting every single vendor to verify details, and hunt down their mistakes- wrong start times, incorrect information, you name it. Three weeks before my wedding. This is what I paid a planner to prevent. When I raised these concerns, Christina called me disrespectful then yelled at me on the phone for 13 minutes while I repeatedly asked her to stop. I had just been in a car accident and asked for one week to recover. They refused and kept pushing demands and regurgitating incorrect information causing loads of confusion for my fiancé and I. I terminated the contract after they broke yet another contractual rule of theirs. Read the other 1-star reviews before booking. The pattern is not a coincidence. read more

Sunshine Events was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, which was on 11/1/25. Aly, our planner and designer, was truly a blessing. As any bride knows, wedding planning can be stressful and overwhelming, but from the very beginning Aly and her team made the entire process feel organized, calm, and joyful. Aly is incredibly professional, kind, proactive, and extremely organized. She has an amazing ability to truly listen and ensure your vision becomes a reality. Once she got to know us, she just knew exactly what we wanted and then executed it flawlessly. Our wedding weekend exceeded every dream we had, and we owe that to Aly and her incredible team. We had Aly as our wedding coordinator for our welcome party and wedding, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. She was there every step of the way and made sure every single detail was perfect. Wedding planning can be so stressful, but Aly made everything flow so smoothly and beautifully. She thought of so many extra things that I never even would have thought of, and because of her, I didn't have to lift a finger at my welcome party or on my wedding day. Hiring Aly was honestly one of the best things we spent money on for our wedding -- she is worth every penny and more. Aly and her team were incredible in every way. Thank you so much, Aly! We had the pleasure of working with Aly as our wedding planner, and we truly can't imagine our big day without her. From my very first intro call, I sensed Aly's balance of warmth and professionalism. Our planning journey wasn't without its challenges -- after already completing the last few details of planning for our first wedding venue, we changed venues just three weeks before our wedding due to the LA fires. What could've been a major setback ended up being a display of Aly's talent and dedication. She helped us promptly secure a new venue, attended a second tasting/walk-through with us, and made sure all of our vendors were informed of changes. Through all of it, she checked in regularly, kept us grounded, and became someone we truly leaned on. Aly was always a few steps ahead -- anticipating our needs and offering thoughtful solutions to problems before we even realized they existed. Her experience and intuition made the entire process feel effortless. She's sharp, detail-oriented, and on top of everything and showed this throughout our 15+ months of working with her. On the wedding day itself, Aly and her team never left my side. I felt completely supported and was able to be present and enjoy every moment, knowing she had everything under control. She brought my vision to life with such precision and care. Having event experience myself, I had high expectations for a planner and Aly truly exceeded it and went above and beyond for us at every turn. She's one of the best decisions we made in choosing our vendors, and anyone who works with her I'm certain will be in the best hands! read more

We absolutely loved having Sunshine Events as our coordinator. Christina was recommended by our videographer and we could not ask for a better coordinator. Christina is very detail-oriented and thoughtful. We were wedding planning really early and it was extremely rare to come across a coordinator who was accessible the second we signed our contract. It was nice to have a resource to ask questions whenever we had any. We didn't really have that many questions but just knowing that we weren't alone in all of this was already so comforting. On the day of, she was very attentive and made sure we were well-fed and hydrated and was on top of keeping us on time. Wish we had time to say goodbye and thank you to her before she switched to our lead coordinator, Tori (who is also super great and responsive)! read more

Trying hard to not sound like another generic 5 star review because Aly and her team truly BLEW US AWAY and made our wedding planning process and wedding day so much easier and more enjoyable. Aly's response time is truly amazing. There were so many times we would email her at odd hours and get a fast response or where our vendors would make mistakes and she would catch the mistake and respond before we even read the email. LIKE HOW DOES ALY KEEP IT ALL ORGANIZED. I'm sure she has a ton of clients so how can she know all of our wedding details better than us the wedding couple and respond so damn fast. There was a time when we emailed wrong information and thankfully she chased our email within a few minutes with the correct information. Aly kept us ahead of schedule for the whole wedding planning process making it so much less stressful than if we had to do everything last minute. Also Aly and her team were amazing the day of! She picked up a truck load of wedding items and put them all out perfectly exactly where they needed to be on our wedding day no mistakes. All her assistants were so helpful including when I lost my car keys at the end of the night and we scoured the wedding venue in the dark. Her team truly went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and didn't have to sweat any details because they nailed everything perfectly. Also Aly and her team kept us perfectly on time to the tee nothing ran late and we made it home with all of our belongings. Anytime we were indecisive and needed another opinion Aly gave us her professional opinion which we used 95% of the time and in the 5% of the time we decided to go another way she supported us 100% I could go on and on about how perfect Aly and her team were. Aly and team were truly spectacular and we could not have asked for a better wedding planner. You are lucky if Aly is still available to help plan your wedding. BOOK HER ASAP read more

Sunshine Events is absolutely amazing. Hands down, we would not have made it through the day so seamlessly without them! From start to finish, they were fantastic to work with and we cannot say enough good things about them! We are so, so happy to have hired Christina as our day of coordinator. She is incredibly caring, organized, personable, and professional. As our day of coordinator, she did more than just organize the day of the wedding. She is there from the moment you hire her to help you plan the day, work through decision fatigue, push to meet your goals, remind you of deadlines, and guide you through the entire process. She and her team did a spectacular job making our vision come to life. All the little things you need set up in the morning, the bouquet that needs to be picked up, guest and vendor questions, or the several boxes of decor you need packed up at the end of the night? This dedicated team has it handled! Shout out to Aly who went above and beyond to help fix up a wedding dress malfunction. She stayed steady and calm the entire time. Thank you Christina and the Sunshine Events team for all your hard work and making our special day all the more wonderful. 10/10 would highly recommend (again and again)! read more

OUR MARRIAGE LICENSE WAS ALSO LOST. I asked another vendor to help me get in contact with her as I wasn't receiving a response back from her..Apparently she had an emergency the day of our wedding hence why she didn't attend, but none of this was communicated to me at the wedding or after. To be clear, she did respond to my husband regarding our license, but not me when asking for an explanation to the disaster of their work. She did agree to pay the $25 fee to replace our license, however, we had to do the work in getting it replaced and sent back to our officiant. We then had to pay for the tracking and updated shipping postage. They may have grown exponentially in recent years hence the extremely different experiences brides are getting today vs years ago. I don't understand why she didn't check in on us after the wedding.. they took our money and did not deliver. Sad to say it, but Look elsewhere. read more

Christina and the team at Sunshine Events did an absolutely PHENOMENAL job planning our wedding! From our very first meeting, Christina's warmth, organization, and deep knowledge of the wedding process put me at ease. She truly thinks of everything, and that became even more evident when we had to change our wedding venue just six weeks before the big day due to the LA fires. Being very type A, I did a lot of the pre-wedding planning myself. We booked our venue and researched vendors prior to hiring Sunshine Events. However, the day of coordination and planning was where we needed help. Both Aly and Christina were amazing in making sure everything went smoothly and ran on schedule. They took care of any hiccups without making it noticeable to me or our guests. I was nervous about how the decor would turn out and if it would match what I was picturing, and it turned out exactly how I wanted it. Indian weddings can get complex with multiple events and so many traditions, but I received so many praises from guests that this was the most organized Indian wedding they've seen. That was with the help of Aly, Christina and their extended team. read more

Working with Christina and her team was truly the best experience. We reached out to multiple wedding planners and ultimately chose to move forward with Christina as from the beginning we could tell that she was extremely organized, experienced, and would be able to help us tackle the challenges of planning a wedding at a private home. Beginning almost a year out, we were in contact with Christina while she helped us through the often overwhelming task list of planning a wedding. As our date approached, she met with us at the venue, helped us plan the space, helped with choosing rentals, recommended vendors to us - and much more. When our wedding day finally came, Christina's team came together and delivered the perfect day. Let's talk about how excellent Aly and her entire team at Sunshine Events are. As a professional officiant, I collaborate with a lot of wedding planners and Aly is one of the best. From moment one, her communication and organization signaled that I was in good hands. Through multiple emails and personal texts, she made sure that I had everything I needed to create a great ceremony, and that I had all relevant information to do my best work without added stress. With her at the helm, I knew everything would go off without a hitch - and it did. Talk about perfect execution! From the moment I arrived at the venue, Aly and her friendly team were on it and in lock-step with venue staff and fellow vendors to make sure everything was running smoothly. Her event organization is artful! At one point, I was wandering around the venue and a friendly staff member somehow knew my exact whereabouts and presented me with my boutonniere - it was like wedding planning espionage! Being at a Sunshine event is like stepping into a luxury resort where all of your needs are met before even realizing that you need them, handled with hospitality and care. Hiring Aly, at Sunshine Events, was worth every dollar spent! Before signing with them I called over a dozen wedding planners. I had already found a lot of my vendors on my own and only needed a partial planner; however, I still needed a lot of help. A lot of planners don't take on partial planning projects or offer very little in those packages. Sunshine Events gives you the full treatment no matter what stage you are already in. Aly went through all the contracts I had already negotiated and was on top of them. When we were talking to vendors, that I still needed, she knew all the limitations and requirements for both the Venue & Church when I had forgotten. Aly kept me on a solid timeline by giving me assignments with due dates. She also helped me stick to my budget, by offering alternatives or suggesting eliminating things that weren't necessary. Having a professional who knows the ins and outs of what vendors can offer and what questions to ask, really helps. (ex: I wouldn't have known about Floral Mockups). Aly was also very helpful in piecing together all my scattered thoughts and ideas into a cohesive wedding vision that flowed and truly expressed my personality and taste. I knew planning a wedding with a 300+ guestlist wasn't going to be easy, especially when most guests were coming from out of town. I'm glad I had Aly by my side. Her positive & friendly attitude definitely kept me calm and grounded throughout the process. She goes above & beyond to be helpful and I know I wouldn't have been able to throw the wedding of my dreams without her. Two vendors had recommended Sunshine Events to me and I will continue with that trend and tell anyone who needs a planner to go with Aly. The day of your wedding all you want is to have fun and enjoy your guests and you can do that because Sunshine Events has got it all handled. Aly navigates, what can be a stressful time with ease. We appreciate all the work she put in and are very grateful! read more

We decided on "day of" wedding coordination that started as soon as we booked with Christina- about 8 months before our wedding! We had the following booked/handled prior to hiring Sunshine: venue with DJ and catering/bar, photography, video, wedding dress, hair and makeup, stationery. We needed help with event design and decor and handling day of logistics. We also didn't have a florist, have our wedding party colors picked out, and needed to finalize our contract with the ceremony space. We got married at a brewery in Fullerton and had our reception at a restaurant nearby. Christina was so helpful through the months leading up to our wedding and very collaborative! Since we were able to handle things like seating assignments, guest lists, and communication with vendors since we knew them personally, the day of coordination was a great fit. She even met with us an additional time (not included on the contract) to review details. We felt so comfortable and trusting in Christina! We had a tumultuous few months before the wedding (death in the family, job loss, wedding party drama) and Christina listened and reminded us of our joyous occasion. Rehearsal: Sarah led our rehearsal and it was super quick and easy! Maybe too quick because we didn't realize our Officiant didn't have ring exchange in the ceremony which was no big deal in the end. We passed off the decor items and florals to Sarah. They prepared the bud vases for our tables. Day of: Christina arrived on time to my getting ready space and she had a team of 3 others setting up the ceremony and reception space. Everything was handled! She asked very minimal questions like only if something couldn't be found. If we noticed someone or something was missing, I flagged it to her and then she would promptly report back saying it was handled. Having Sarah, Lauren, and Asia there too was so helpful!!! They made sure I was comfortable, hydrated, helped me and my big dress to the bathroom, and everything in between. They executed the decor and layout perfectly. If something was different than I imagined, it was for good reason (like the wind!). So thankful they were able to set up, clean up, and problem solve. My wedding party and our families did not have to worry about those pieces. We had seat assignments for our 100 guests, but during set up they worked off of an old copy. so we had some guests misplaced but it worked out fine!!! By the end of the night there was just one sunshine team member present - which was fine because we didn't have much going on at all at the reception. (We knocked out dances and speeches at the ceremony space). However, my parents and family had to load the car with Asia which was not expected but of course they were happy to help. My parents then left the venue with the decor as planned but we realized a large mirror had been left behind. So my parents drove back to get it. Nothing else got lost or left behind! I absolutely love how warm, bright and cheerful the sunshine events team is! I've recently attended weddings and I notice their coordination team is just so dreary and unhappy to be there. Sunshine made our wedding day easy, enjoyable, and we spent the day exactly how we wanted to Thank you, Christina and team!!!! read more

The BIGGEST waste of money. Wedding nightmare. Sunshine events did nothing for us on our wedding day except bring us tears, overwhelm us, and botch every detail. On the day of we were provided a planning assistant that did not know any details about what we wanted for our wedding and did not retain any of the information she was told. Our family members and wedding party did everything! Which is exactly what we didn't want. Our venue was DIY so I think they are used to all inclusive venues where they don't need to lift a finger. Lastly, our wedding was just a cash grab for them. They had a wedding prior to ours, they were completely unprepared and arrived late. They also had very harsh attitudes with the guests. The hardest thing is that it's just one day for me, but they do weddings multiple times a week. It showed they didn't care. It wasn't important to them. read more

I highly recommend Sunshine Events for any wedding or event. I used Sunshine for my wedding. Aly was my planner and she is AMAZING. My mother also used Aly and her team to plan my bridal shower. And we used Gabby (Sunshine & The finishing touches) for my florals. They are so talented and thorough. Aly and her team go above and beyond to make sure every detail is covered. My wedding day was everything i envisioned. Getting married and planning a wedding is so overwhelming there is so much involved that I did not think of or consider and Aly was extremely helpful in the whole process. Literally every detail, emails, follow ups, meetings, she is ON it. I am so grateful for the entire team and everything they did to make this process and the day an incredible and unforgettable one. Go with Sunshine you won't be disappointed!! read more

Working with Christina was possibly one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding. When we started the planning process, we contacted a bunch of coordinators to get quotes and do interviews; it was a time consuming and tiring process and more often than not we came out of the conversations confused with exactly what they were going to do for us. With Christina though, we knew from the very first conversation that she was the one. She was organized, experienced, and knew the venue inside and out. It was honestly SUCH a huge relief to have someone who knows the layout and the process like the back of their hands help us through our planning. We quickly hired on Christina as our day-of coordinator but she was so much more. She helped us through the entire planning process, connected us with vendors, and offered great advice as we worked through all the details. Her team was AMAZING on the day of. They took care of us, made sure we had bites to eat, water, drinks. From set up to tear down, they took care of EVERYTHING and just made it so stress free for us and our wedding party. It wouldn't be a wedding if there weren't hiccups along the way; my mom got stung by a bee and had an allergic reaction, one of the guests had a broken zipper for her dress and the whole thing came off.... Christina's team took care of it all with such grace and patience. I mean they had Bobby pins, first aid, allergy medicine, like honestly just wowed by the preparedness...! Our friends and families had nothing but amazing things to say as well. A huge (belated) thank you to Christina and her team. Highly highly recommend booking with her if you're looking for coordinators in the OC region! read more

Where do I even begin..... I met Christina back in July of 2022. She happened to be working a wedding at the venue I ended up choosing. From my very first encounter with her I knew not only was she knowledgeable about what she does but she knows the area very well, she was organized, prompt, and the way she handled herself the day I met her was the exact reason I decided to hire her as my wedding planner. From the moment we hired her she was easy to talk too and bounce ideas off of and she was literally my ride or die throughout the entire wedding planning process. My experience with Christina began as a business relationship but I can only hope to keep in touch with her for years to come. She made the entire wedding planning process and amazing experience. Not only did we have at least 10 scheduled meetings but she answered all my phone calls even if they were at 10 o clock at night. She would talk me out of my stress moments and truly promised me that it was going to be an amazing day and not to worry that she had things handled && that she did. That's what she does for her clients. She wants this to be a once in a lifetime experience and she does whatever she can to make sure your wedding dreams come true. She was my confidant, my planner, and now my friend && I'm so grateful for her and her team as they truly made my wedding spectacular. If your looking for the real deal sunshine is where it's at. There knowledge about the planning process, vendors, etc. is unmatched. Thank you sunshine events for our amazing wedding day! read more

I am forever grateful for Christina and her team! I felt so bad because I didn't have a vision for my wedding. I knew what I didn't want whenever options were presented to me but I didn't know exactly what I wanted. Christina was amazing and brought my non existent vision to life! Everything was absolutely stunning, I cried when I saw everything come together. Christina was hired over a year out to be just my month of coordinator but she kept in contact with me throughout the year, I felt like she was a full time planner to me! Not only was she responsive right away whether it was via email or text, she was, in some ways, my therapist. Haha. Every wedding is bound to run into problems, and Christina patiently listened to me cry on the phone when things were going wrong or when my anxiety was at an all time high. She reassured me that we would figure things out and she would step in and be my voice if I couldn't do it. I can't thank her enough for everything we went through because everything turned out PERFECT. Like I said, every wedding runs it to its own problems, but Christina and her team handled it like the bosses that they are to ensure everything went smoothly. Come wedding day, Christina provided about 5 assistants who rotated throughout the night so that we were never alone. One thing that I was so impressed by (and didn't even realize until the next morning) was that her team packed up EVERY SINGLE item that I had brought for decor (table numbers, signage, guest book, etc etc) and also all my dresses and shoes and brought it to our hotel room completely organized and packed away. There is NO WAY we would be able to do that ourselves while also being super drunk. This allowed us to actually enjoy our wedding and our guests!!! I think I went on a long enough rant but there's just so much to say about them! Thank you thank you thank you Christina and Sunshine Events! If you're thinking about hiring them, DO IT! read more

Got married 3 weeks ago and had the best experience ever with Aly! From the beginning Aly was prepared, knowledgeable, trustworthy and super organized which was huge for me as a type A bride. She was available to me anytime I needed her throughout the planning process and made the wedding day so smooth. She had great vendor recommendations and was honest but supportive about where to save and splurge to make the biggest impact. There wasn't a single thing that went wrong on the big day, her team handled everything with a smile in their face and made sure my husband and I were taken care of the whole day. And an honorable mention to Sarah who took over briefly while Aly got married, she was amazing and a ray of sunshine on the wedding day. I can't recommend Aly and Sunshine events enough! read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We first met Christina and her team 9 months before our big day. In our first meeting, Christina already had a tentative timeline and checklist of everything we needed to do as the countdown got closer. She was very meticulous and thorough in walking us through all the steps, and she was very comforting during the entire process. She was there for us every single day during the 9 months; it didn't matter if we texted, emailed, or called her on the weekends or evening, she was always available whenever we needed her for anything. Christina made the entire wedding process so seamless, and we didn't have to stress out one bit about dealing with vendors or handling any logistical issues. She was on top of every little thing, and she consistently sent out checklists and friendly reminders to make sure we had everything completed on time. Of course, the wedding day went off without a hitch! Christina and her team arrived early at our hotel to help us get ready for the big day. Case in point, we had a snafu while we were both getting ready... as our photographer was doing the photoshoot for myself, he accidentally sat on the veil while it was strung up on the bed. Unfortunately, the veil ripped slightly from the comb. My wife was in the other room, so Christina came in immediately with her "fix-it" kit. She and her team were able to quickly adjust the rip and put it together like brand new without my wife even knowing! Of course, we laughed our butts off the next day when I told my wife. During the ceremony and reception, Christina and her team made sure to organize our guests efficiently and keep them in their places. Both sides have excited aunties and uncles who don't really follow directions properly. But Christina's team was able to guide everyone where they needed to be and handle any of our guests' questions or concerns. Her team also worked tirelessly with the Florist, DJ, Cake Vendor, and Dining Director to ensure everything was in order the day before and day of. We essentially didn't have to lift a finger, and we were treated like royalty by Christina's team. Thank you Sunshine Events for helping us with our dream wedding! read more
