Working with Michelle and her incredible team was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Michelle is not only an incredibly talented planner with impeccable taste and the best vendor connections, but also such a genuinely warm, fun, and easy person to talk to. She made the entire planning process seamless and enjoyable, and we always felt comfortable sharing our ideas and trusting her expertise. She has a true gift for bringing a vision to life. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of - beautiful, dreamy, and absolutely magical. She thought of every detail, including the little things we never would have considered. On our wedding day, she and her team took care of everything, even carefully packing up our personal items and belongings in our room so we could simply relax and enjoy the night. Our guests have been raving about how incredible Michelle and her team were! Their attention to detail, professionalism, and care truly made a difference. Michelle is a top luxury wedding planner, and it shows in everything she does. It's bittersweet that our wedding is over because we will genuinely miss working with her! If you're considering hiring Michelle, do it. Trust the process and trust her expertise. She was one of our very best decisions, and we couldn't recommend her and her team more highly. read more

Michelle has an amazing eye for design when it comes to event planning. I didn't have many specific requests other than providing a few decor items, so I trusted her creative direction and the result was absolutely beautiful. One of the best things about Michelle and her team is their care and attention to detail. They handled all our decor and neatly packed everything for us after the wedding ceremony. I truly appreciate their hard work and organization, especially after such a long and special day! read more

I had a great experience with Mele Amore Events and especially with our lead planner, Nicole. Nicole was an absolute angel and amazing to work with! From day one she was always professional, organized, and communicative yet super friendly and personable. It felt like we were planning our wedding with a good friend who really cared about us. If it's within your budget to hire a professional wedding planner, I absolutely recommend you do it. For me, I was willing to cut our budget elsewhere to afford a wedding planner because I don't enjoy planning parties and had no interest trying to DIY plan one of the most important events of my life. Looking back now, hiring Mele Amore was the best decision we made. I had a family emergency come up the week of my wedding - my dad was hospitalized days before the wedding and wasn't able to attend. It was a scary and stressful time and I hope no other bride ever has to experience anything like that, but it's in moments like these where having a professional planner proves to be invaluable. It was such a relief to know that Nicole had all the wedding details handled so I could just focus on my family situation and on mentally preparing myself for the wedding day despite the sadness I felt. My dad obviously had a lot of roles in the wedding, but we were able to scramble to make alterations, which I thank my wonderful family and Nicole for stepping up and helping with. Nicole made all the necessary adjustments to the schedule and notified all of our vendors of the situation, so everyone was sensitive, kind, and comforting to me on the wedding day which really helped me feel better. It turned out to still be a beautiful and joyful day despite the circumstances and I am able to look back on my wedding day fondly - for that I will forever be grateful to Nicole and Mele Amore! Nicole was able to deliver the wedding we wanted within our discussed budget and I am still stunned to this day on how beautiful our florals and decor looked with the budget we had! The owner, Michelle, handles the designs and totally nailed the look we were going for: cozy, romantic, and luxe without being over-the-top or gaudy. I had so much fun going through mood boards and the mock-up with Nicole, but the actual reception design day of completely exceeded our expectations. On the wedding day, we had Nicole plus two assistants with us the entire time. They were all so great at keeping everything on schedule, getting people to where they needed to be, and stopping family members from mobbing us to take a million phone photos. Despite the stress leading up to the wedding, the actual wedding day itself went really smoothly and was pretty stress-free. If there were any issues on our wedding day my husband and I don't know about them, which is how it should be! Thank you so much to Nicole, Michelle, and the Mele Amore team for giving us the wedding of our dreams! read more

Mele Amore went above & beyond! As someone with parents in the entertainment industry, there were many ideas and visualizations of how they envisioned their dream wedding to be. From a twinkling ceiling, mirrored guest tables, a cookie wall, an abundance of florals, to celebrity performers - Michelle exceeded expectations! People still talk about it to this day. Big or small, I'd recommend Michelle for any wedding over and over, thank you! read more

We cannot thank Mele Amore enough for their planning & design services. Michelle was the MVP of our wedding and helped alleviate so much stress for me and my husband during the planning process. She was always available, willing to give her opinion, and a step ahead. Not to mention she put together the most DREAMY ceremony and reception layout. Michelle is the absolute best and I cannot recommend her enough. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable and well connected in the wedding industry, but she is so nice and professional. She helped my husband and I problem solve and switch venues 9 weeks before the event. LanAnh and her team at Mele Amore deserve 10 stars! As soon as I got engaged in July 2020, I knew I needed to start planning ASAP if I wanted a 2021 fall wedding. I immediately started researching and realized there is no way I can do this without a wedding planner. I found Mele Amore on Yelp and didn't hesitate to reach out to them. They immediately set up a meeting via phone to fully understand what we were interested in and when we would like to have a planner start assisting.. which was right away for me lol! We were connected with LanAnh - there aren't enough words to express how appreciative we are to have had her throughout our entire wedding planning and day of coordinating. She went above and beyond to find venues and vendors within our budget while still being able to keep our vision. The wedding day could not have went as perfect as it did without her. Thank you so much Mele Amore! read more

When my husband and I had to postpone our wedding due to covid, we ended up changing venues, so I reached out to Mele Amore. I had already pretty much planned my entire wedding and had to start over with the new venue. I was nervous about what packages were offered and if we would be able to find something that worked. Luckily for me, Michelle was extremely flexible and created a custom package for us and it was smooth sailing from there. Everything about working with Michelle was a dream. I am an extremely type A/perfectionist/overly organized person and was nervous to annoy my new planner, but Michelle made me feel so comfortable and was always on the same page as me. Any requests or ideas I had, she could see my vision. I'm sure a lot of couples are concerned about wedding budget, but Michelle was extremely conscious of our budget, prioritized our wants and needs and even made sure there was flexibility in our budget while still getting everything we wanted for our wedding day. A lot of people told me that planning the wedding would be one of the worst parts of the wedding, but I had the complete opposite experience. I enjoyed every minute of it, thanks to Michelle. She was more than a pleasure to work with and I really feel so close to her now. We couldn't have asked for a better planner and there is no way I can thank her enough for everything she did for us. I couldn't recommend Mele Amore more and know that you will be in the best hands. With so much love, a very happy bride/newlywed :) read more

As a DJ vendor, it was an absolute pleasure working with Michelle on 9/18/2021. She was on top of everything before the wedding reception so it made my job so much easier. She made sure I got directions to the venue, know where to park so it be easier to unload my gear, and made sure I was fed. She was absolutely amazing. I hope to run into her again for future weddings. George from Radiate Productions read more

"Mele Amore saved my marriage before I even got married." - my husband. We laugh now, but Mele Amore made our big day the success it was. We cannot list enough positives about working with them, but a few that come to mind are professionalism, eye to detail, and a ton of wedding knowledge! The team took over 3 months before the big day and really put us at ease by taking care of little things you forget and in a few cases saved us money by re-negotiating contracts. We also hired them to do decor/ design and they worked together with our florist to put together the wedding of our dreams. In terms of professionalism the entire team was great at resolving little to big issues or lingering worries. Michelle and Nicole were very easy to work with and it felt like hanging out with friends. You can really tell the pride they put into their work with all the careful planning and check in meetings. In terms of knowledge, wow, just, wow. They were a life saver for decorations, rehearsal, and planning. Big shout out to Michelle, Nicole, and Vam! They had everything on lock down and ensured everything went smoothly. Our wedding would not have been what is was without their hard work. So if you are struggling with wedding planning.... do your marriage a favor and hire Mele Amore. This will be some of the best money spent for your marriage before you are even married. read more

Nicole Fuller was our Wedding Planner and she was an absolute gem sent from heaven and we were so lucky to be matched with her. She was so "on it" from the moment we hired her - giving recommendations, helping keep us on track with wedding planning, and making sure every part of our day went absolutely perfect. I loved that I was able to "level" with her and get her honest opinion or advice on certain situations - she seemed more like a trusted friend or family member than someone who we hired, but still so professional and polished. My mom and I loved her from the start, but the icing on the cake was when my dad told us (after the wedding) that Nicole came to check on him multiple times in the evening to say "Just a heads up, your FOB speech is coming up, are you ready?" or "The father/daughter dance is next, just an FYI!" and that just blew us away - that level of service!! Not to mention, when we were getting ready, the flowers showed up and didn't look exactly like my Pinterest board and I was bummed. She quietly altered all of my bridesmaids bouquets (without me even suggesting/or asking her) while we finished getting ready -- what an absolute angel!! She answered all of my texts, phone calls, emails, etc. and was always positive. THANK YOU NICOLE!! You are THE BEST!!! I would hire her again a million times over!!! read more

Michelle and her team absolutely NAILED IT. From the preparation and assistance in planning, to the organization, and the reassurance, all the way down to the rehearsal day and the execution of the big wedding day--- everything was handled with the utmost class and huge smiles. We were lucky enough to have LanAnh and the Mele Amore team plan our special day. Everything was as perfect as you could imagine, but LanAnh is so much more than a planner. I cried so much during the speeches, one of my contacts fell out and I really had no make-up left on one eye. LanAnh personally redid my make-up within minutes and you honestly could not tell the difference. This woman can run the entire show and always finds a way to go the extra mile. Michelle and her team came highly recommended by one of my friends who recently got married. They were super responsive right away and I only had positive experiences from them. Sadly, because of restrictions with the venue I chose I couldn't continue working with Michelle & Mele Amore but I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding planner. Michelle is caring, easy to get along with, responsive, and definitely someone I'd trust to plan my wedding. My friend's said that Michelle and her team made their wedding day stress free and took care of everything so that they could enjoy their wedding. Don't hesitate to reach out! read more

Five stars for Nicole and Mele Amore!!! Nicole made the wedding planning process easy and stress free. Leading up to the wedding, Nicole was very attentive and responsive, and it was evident that she truly cared about making the day as perfect as possible for us. She did such a great job coordinating with the vendors, making suggestions and adjustments to the vendor contracts, and bringing little planning details to our attention that we never would have thought about otherwise! The day of the wedding was surprisingly stress-free as well. Nicole prepared detailed day-of timelines for the wedding events and the wedding party, which was super helpful! She brought the bridesmaids and groomsmen lunch; she made sure everyone was adhering to the schedule; she communicated with all the vendors - as a result, everything was on time and the day went without a single hitch. We had pretty specific table decor instructions for the tables at the reception, and Nicole and her team set everything up beautifully. By the end of the night, the Mele Amore team had boxed up items that we needed to take from the reception (cards, cake cutters, champagne flutes, extra cake!) and placed them in our hotel room for when we returned that night. We truly did not have to worry about a thing!!! We are so happy we chose Mele Amore as our wedding coordinators. Big thank you to Nicole for a very stress-free and easy process during what can be a very stressful time!!! :) read more

this is long overdue... sorry LanAnh! My sister and my brother in law got married December 2014 and I remember my sister telling me that she had gotten a wedding coordinator for everything, who would basically help her from start to finish and she did. I remember they had meetings together to catch up, to update each other, etc etc, phone calls, emails, texts, everything, LanAnh was basically there every step of the way. I finally got to meet LanAnh during the wedding rehearsal. She was so calm, so patient with everyone, and if anyone has met my parents, OMG girl I give you props for answering their questions, the same questions LOL, with patients and kindness like you did. Never once did I see her get frustrated! She's superwoman! Anyways, on the day of the wedding, I never felt so calm and relaxed in my life. Even my sister was like, are we still on schedule? We had so much down time to just enjoy the moment and it was just because LanAnh and her team made everything on that day run super smooth! I've been in my share of weddings and we've heard everything that's going on from the guys are running late, to the flowers aren't here yet, to the limo company made a mistake and sent the wrong one, etc etc etc, the wedding planner had to come and update the bride, we had no idea if there was any drama. Was there LanAnh??? lol No one seemed rushed and if they did, we had no clue! Everything went down perfectly. We even had 2 ceremonies and still that transition went smoothly. Of course there was drama from family members, something or someone might of ran late, but did the bridal party know? NOPE =D just sipping mimosas and taking pictures with the bride! Best experience ever. Oooops forgot to add this part! The 2nd ceremony had many traditional pieces, I added a picture, and LanAnh and her team took just care and paid close attention to detail while setting up everything, putting everything away, and also helping to transfer most things to and from the car, to and from our house, everything the flawless! My dad arrived at the car and most things from the ceremony were already in the car! And most of the presents were already in my sister's hotel room!!! Amazing team!!! Thanks LanAnh for making my sister's wedding day so special. You're amazing! read more

Michelle and her team was absolutely AMAZING. I was referred to Michelle from a close friend/florist. I spoke to Michelle and told her my vision and she truly made it all come to life. I had so many questions throughout the process and she was so quick to respond. We had to delay our wedding due to covid which was extremely stressful, but Michelle kept us at ease and helped us every step of the way. As a total control freak, I was so nervous to put such a big day in someone elses hands. And there is nobody else I would have trusted with this other then Michelle. She exceeded ALL of our expectations. On my big day she was one step ahead of me every time. Whether it was forgetting my garter, needing a mint, finding flip flops for beach photos etc she always was there to save the day. My day was absolutely seamless and I owe this all to Mele Amore!! I contacted LanAnh Ho almost immediately after we got engaged because I had gone to 2 other weddings that she planned and absolutely loved her style. And the brides spoke so highly of her. After our first meeting, we wanted to lock her in for our date (12-13-14) before another couple did!! It was definitely the best decision ever. You always hear about how planning is so stressful, but I honestly never felt any bit of stress because LanAnh took care of so much for us. Since I don't one creative bone in my body and since I work 6 days a week, I relied on LanAnh to help style the wedding. I am not a DIY bride at all. So she presented a few style boards and she hit it right on the nose in terms of what we would have liked. We loved the style board and vision she created for us and she recommended the best vendors in the business. She organized all the meetings with the vendors, reviewed all the contracts before we signed, kept us on track with the timeline and our budget. Since I'm clueless with style and stuff, I literally would text/email her with the most annoying questions and she would get back to be quickly and never made me feel like I ever bothered her. She answered all the questions I had and was always patient with us. On the day of the wedding, LanAnh and her team took such good care of us and handled all of the decorating and set up and even still made sure me and my bridal party was fed and hydrated. She kept us on schedule and we were able to fit in everything we needed to do in the time we had and not feel rushed at all. Of course, unfortunately, there was some guests of my mother who were annoying but she dealt with everything so professionally and politely and kept myself calm as well. And there were some crazy dancers on the dance floor and there was rip in my dress but LanAnh patched it up with her handiness! All in all she fix anything that went wrong and held my hand through it and made everything all better! At the end, we are so sad that it's over because we don't get to see her regularly But the experience that LanAnh had with wedding planning made everything come out so wonderfully and now we can look back and remember the happiest day of our life being so perfect! We love LanAnh and team Mele Amore!!! We are recommending them to everyone we know who are getting married for sure! read more

Hi LanAnh! This special review is ALL FOR YOU, girl!!! Bride: I cannot say enough good things about Mele Amore, but most especially LanAnh!!! She was able to turn my fairytale wedding vision into reality. Her and the staff (Patty and Cindy) bent over backwards to make sure that all of my needs were met on the day of my wedding! I give most, if not all, of the credit to her. The whole wedding planning and process was easy-breezy because of her. Hiring her as our planner was the best decision and investment me and my husband made! We clicked instantly at our first meeting and she completely understood the particular style and feel I wanted for my special day! Our guests were constantly raving about how beautiful and organized our wedding was. She matched us up with our awesome vendors who helped make our big day truly special. Amazing doesn't even come close to describe, LanAnh! I'm so glad our paths have crossed and we've developed a lifelong friendship! You're in good hands choosing Mele Amore and having LanAnh by your side every step of the way through your wedding journey! Groom: We didn't have a wedding planner when we first started planning our wedding. My bride to be and I thought it would be a fun experience putting everything together ourselves. However, needless to say, since I was mostly working, and my fiancé had her "dream wedding" vision, she took the reigns on planning. As the weeks turned into months we were not getting anywhere due to a number of different problems with potential vendors. High prices, lack of professionalism, poor communication, you name it, we ran into it. My fiancé then, came to me one day and said, "honey, this just isn't fun anymore," and it broke my heart. The rest of this review is quite short because LanAnh and MeleAmore stepped in and BANG!! Dream Wedding! Without a single dry eye during the ceremony (my macho groomsmen included) complete with an on-point DJ, awesome florist with beautiful flowers and candles arrangement, and same day edit wedding video, which blew everyone away, all while staying within our budget. My bride-to-be showed a few pictures of things and said, "I don't want that but I want to FEEL that..." I have no idea what that means! But their women minds linked up and my wife's dream came true. MeleAmore... LahnAhn... Thank you for making my wife's dream wedding a reality. I will never forget it. read more

If i could give 10 stars i would! I can't tell you enough to book Mele Amore Events and especially with LanAnh! I had the pleasure of meeting LanAnh and her team at one of my friend's wedding back in 2014. I was very impressed at how professional she was and how the wedding went smoothly without a hitch. Once I secured my venue in the OC, I knew I had to book LanAnh as my wedding planner. In the beginning stages of my wedding planning, I felt lost and LanAnh help steer me in the right direction. She was literally a text or phone call away with awesome suggestions and really eased my anxiety about my wedding. She is very organized and provided us with a monthly planning timeline as well as estimated wedding budget to give us a better perspective on how much we should save. As the days grew closer to my wedding, she made itineraries for my fiancé and I, our wedding party, and our sponsors which made it so much easier for everyone. Even with last minute changes where I needed an extra table to accommodate more guests, she took care of that with ease. LanAnh we LOVE you!!! Oh let me count the ways... LanAnh is a get down to business and get everything done kinda gal. She not only gets things done - it gets done with grace and a smile!! Booking Mele Amore & having LanAnh as our planner was the best decision my husband and I made. (Well, let's be honest here - I made the decision and he wrote out the check.) LanAnh was able to handle the craziness from both of our families - that alone is a huge task. We had a venue change 6 months before our wedding. Normally, I would stress out about all the small minor things, but with the help of LanAnh - the whole wedding planning process was easy and tear free!! My bridesmaids were able to enjoy the wedding reception thanks to LanAnh & her team who went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and fed! The best part - you end up with a friend! Mele Amore, I adore you. I didn't know what my dream wedding looked like until my wedding day happened and it was a literal dream! I'm not sure what I would have done without NICOLE. My angel! Super responsive, professional, attentive, always sweet, so chill but organized, thoughtful, and wise! One of my newly-wed bridesmaids said she wished she got married after me so she could see what having an organized planner was like! I feel so lucky to have worked with Nicole. Her emails and itineraries and everything she sent or printed out were beautifully formatted and easy to understand. Our union felt meant to beeee! :) Wedding day, you get a Mele dream team of three! I literally didn't have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day. Nicole met the bridal party in the morning to make sure we got to the venue on time and in one piece. She picked up all the linens. She offered to bring us lunch! I found printed instructions inside one of my boxes after the wedding and I couldn't believe that something I felt I said in passing, was taken very seriously and followed through! I was really touched and blown away by the attention to detail. Our day was perfect and beautiful in every single way. Thank you Nicole and Mele Amore :) read more

Rundown - LanAnh is...Awesome! She wasn't just a great planner, she became a great friend. :) - Wedding planners are a must...and Mele Amore can deliver a stress free wedding! - I felt like I was her only client and never felt that she was too busy for me When my husband proposed to me, we were working full time and finishing our 3rd year of business school. We had very little free time and having a planner was a priority for us. When I started looking for a planner, I wanted to find someone that I connected with and one that I felt that i could trust to create a wedding that was a reflection of the both of us. When I first talked to LanAnh, I was "interviewing" a handful of other planners. None of the planners really meshed with my personality and I was hesitant to move forward with any of them. LanAnh was the last planner that I interviewed and after our phone call, I knew that I had to work with her! Once we started our planning sessions, LanAnh was there for me every step of the way. She guided me and provided a lot of great advice! Between her connections with various vendors to providing me with best practices, I felt comfortable going with a lot of her recommendations. Also, it was a great feeling that I never felt that I hired her to do a job or a set of tasks...instead, I felt that we established a partnership and she always went above and beyond to help us create our perfect wedding. During the 10+ months of planning, I never felt stressed about planning and I was surprised how easy this all was. (Everyone advised me that wedding planning was really difficult!!). LanAnh did an amazing job with the designs (somehow bringing all pinterest pin's into our wedding) and always kept my budget in mind. At the end, she didn't go over my budget and I still had the wedding that I wanted! (She's a genius when it comes to re-working the budget and staying on track!!). I should note that I had expensive taste when it came to the wedding and a lot of my wants were outside of my price range. However, LanAnh never told me that it couldn't be done and she got creative and figured out ways for me to get what I wanted. For example, I really wanted all ghost chairs and instead of saying "No, its not in your budget", she made other suggestions such as mixing clear chiavari chairs with the ghost chairs! All I have to say is...genius. I got my ghost chairs and it looked put together. On the day of the wedding, we were on time and I never felt rushed (Yay LanAnh and Team! Special thanks to Kimi and Farrah - amazing girls who were also there for me!). She created a timeline for everyone in the wedding (vendors and wedding party) and she stuck to it! Even my bridal party mentioned over and over again that they've never been part of a wedding that ran so smoothly! To help emphasize how great it was, Its been almost a month since our beautiful wedding and our family and friends are still talking about it. I should also point out that, while I knew that LanAnh was really busy with other clients, I never felt left out or neglected. She was very responsive and would give me a headsup if she was going to be MIA for any reason. Even if she was out of the office, Michelle was there to respond to any of my emergency emails. :) In all, LanAnh was an amazing planner and even if I could go back in time, I wouldn't change a thing. If you're on the fence about hiring a wedding planner...or have questions about my experience, please feel free to contact me. I'll talk your ear off about how amazing it was to have LanAnh and how you need team Mele Amore for your wedding. :) xoxo read more

Best.decision.ever. One, you will not regret hiring a wedding planner. Two, you will never regret hiring Mele Amore Events. I worked with Michelle and words can't describe how amazing she is and how much she did for us both day of and during the entire planning process. The day of there were also these amazing ninja like people making our wedding day go by so smoothly and seamlessly. They have these magic bags with the things you need most at just the right time. I couldn't have asked for a better day. The venue was decorated so beautifully. It is like a dream. Everything happened on schedule, but I never felt rushed or hurried. My fiancé and i live in Florida and got married at La Casa del Camino in Laguna Beach, CA. I knew I needed a planner, but I had no idea how much planning help I actually did need. I ended up with a Level 3 service, which was amazing. I started at their level 2, but we quickly realized I needed much more help with the design process. Michelle was available all the time. Now I think I'm going to miss talking or texting her! She guided me through the process. Helped me with vendors, but totally understood when I didn't like a suggestion so we kept looking. We stayed on budget and on time. I had some visions for how I wanted the decor and she used that plus her own to create amazing tablescapes at the venue. The vendors were organized well the day of. She even made sure I was fed :). There was plenty of flexibility built into the timeline so when extra friends/family decided to give speeches it was seamless. It truly was fantastic. Everyone keeps talking about our wedding, how beautiful, how much fun, and how well it was run by Michelle and her team. Thank you all so much for the most amazing day of my life. I just want to do it all over again. read more

What they don't tell you about every great wedding, is that there is probably a LanAnh behind the scenes making it happen and making it look effortless. I felt SOOOOO incredibly lucky to have LanAnh as my wedding coordinator. Literally, I am not sure if I would have survived if it were not her. My hubby and I were fighting over the smallest details whenever wedding planning came up, because that's what you do when you're planning a wedding. In comes LanAnh, with her adorable haircut and cutest laugh, to calm everyone down and make sure everyone got what they wanted in the wedding. If you can't already tell, I have a giant girl crush on her. She was organized, helpful, and I feel like she anticipated every single thing that could have possibly gone wrong and fixed it before it was a problem. -Fake eyelashes start to fall off...no worries. LanAnh knows how to put those on and has eyelash adhesive on hand. -Dress needs to be steamed quickly...no worries. LanAnh know show to use a steamer. -You're hungry...no worries. LanAnh is there with sandwiches for you and all your girls. -Not creative or know how to decorate your venue...no worries. LanAnh knows how to make your venue look incredible and stay true to your idea of what you want. -Officiant's iPad goes blank as you are walking down the aisle with your dad...no worries. LanAnh fixes it without you ever knowing. (I only found out AFTER the wedding) -Not sure where your marriage license is after the wedding...no worries. LanAnh has it, with everyone's signature and mailed it for us. There are so many other things that she did throughout the day to make sure that our wedding ran smoothly. I'm pretty sure my mom wanted to adopt her at the end of the night. I cannot thank her or the Mele Amore team enough for everything they have done. You all made my wedding more beautiful and memorable than I could have ever imagined. If you are getting married, do yourself a favor and hire Mele Amore as your wedding planning/coordination service. The only regret I have is that we did not hire this team sooner. read more

Six months ago we hired Mele Amore to plan and coordinate our wedding. Two weeks ago we got married. The day went by so fast, it was such a blur. All I could really recall was a fun, happy, love filled whirlwind roller coaster ride that I didn't want to end. So if everything seemingly went so perfectly, why the delay in the review? First, I am a man. We procrastinate with everything. Second (the real reason) is that I truly wanted to digest what was put into the last six months to produce such a great wedding day. I wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to write a review coming off a wedding or honeymoon high, which we have not yet gone on just in case you are curious. So where do I start? Simple answer, how did we find Michelle and the Mele Amore Team...simple, yelp reviews just like you are doing now. We searched, read, laughed, and eventually found Mele Amore. Now for the fun part...'The Review' Everyone's experiences are going to be different. I firmly believe that your mindset going into something will fully dictate how satisfied you are with the results. A disappointment is the same as a wildly successful outcome, both are learning experiences. With that disclaimer out of the way, I figured that i would do my review a little differently from the norm. Instead of blabbing about how great Michelle and her team are, there are plenty of reviews on yelp that can attest to that, I am going to pick out some things from other yelper's reviews that helped us in choosing Mele Amore. Get some tea, this is going to be the longest review ever. Oahn N - "Even though we only used Michelle for the "day-of", she offered her creative ideas to us throughout the planning process. " This let us know that Michelle is willing to go beyond what was asked of Mele Amore contractually. Joe E - "It was because of Michelle and Mele Amore Events that we could let go of all the stress and the concerns and enjoy our time with our family and friends. " Stress is the last thing anyone wants. We wanted someone who could help us maximize our quality time with family on our wedding day. Heidi F - "She is super detail oriented, very organized, has a ton of great ideas and recommendations for any budget wedding." Who isn't on a budget? Michelle's creativity and flexibility were the keys to executing our wedding within our budget! Vu T - "Michelle always made sure that every little detail that might have been overlooked was taken care of." It's always the little things that come up and bite you, Michelle covered everything Jen H - "My Husband being in charge of the budget and the highest sceptic on hiring a coordinator, even agrees that hiring the Mele Amore Team was one of the best things we did!!! " Fellas, Mele Amore will keep you within budget! All you need to do is trust and listen to them. Kris I - "It seemed like anytime someone came to my husband or I with a question that day, I turned around and there was Son ready with an answer to solve the issue. " Son and Farrah handled day of coordinating for us. It was like these two were in my mind, knowing what my answer would be before I could even speak. Amazing! Tim P - "With such a HUGE WEDDING, they bought in extra staffs without charging me since they want everything to be PERFECT!!" When I stopped by the venue the day before the wedding, I saw all these extra Mele Amore team members helping to set stuff up. Michelle had them come in and no charge to us to make sure everything was done properly. Inhee K - "She and the team came to our suite before the time schedule she had made for us. She then personally said hi to every vendor and everyone and made them feel very comfortable." Face time is very important and I loved that she always wanted to have direct conversations whenever possible. Sophie B - "Michelle is a good communicator and always available when we needed her for advise or help." Communication is obviously a must have. Diana N - "Our venue did not allow their kitchen to be used for on-site cooking (only reheating) which we found out after we signed the contract. " Being able to over come possible wedding disasters is a must...unless you want a sucky wedding. Trihn N - "the biggest compliment I heard was that my wedding was the best they had ever attended." Coincidence that numerous guests at our wedding commented the same thing? I don't think so. Anne V - "we quickly got discouraged by a couple coordinators around our area who weren't willing to work with our smaller budget. " Some wedding planners only want you if you have a huge budget...Mele Amore planners only want you to have a great wedding day and experience Happy Love. J L - Saw her recent review and had to comment...watch out Japan for Bride-zilla, I mean Godzilla. FYI, we didn't experience any of this mess. So there you go...hoped it helped. Trust me and the other consistently raving reviews...YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. WE LOVE MICHELLE & TEAM MELE AMORE!!!!!! read more

We hired Mele Amore to help coordinate our wedding a year ago (yes, I FINALLY remembered to write a review after all this time). It was a fabulous experience. I had done a lot of the legwork prior to hiring on Mele Amore, but it was so great to have a professional look over my planning process and give me recommendations and suggestions on tweaking to make things better. Michelle is based in Costa Mesa which was a little off-putting since I lived about an hour away from her (without traffic). I was very pleased and surprised when Michelle always offered to meet me close to where I live rather than asking me to meet at her office. The day of the wedding, I was able to just relax knowing full well that Michelle and Lan-ahn had everything under control. Was the day perfect? No, but that was more because I'm a perfectionist and things didn't always play out how I envisioned it in my head. It was not to the fault of Michelle or her team, just me being nit-picky. At the end of the day/night, I married the man that I love and that's what matters. Was I stress free? YES! There were a few hiccups, but Michelle and Lan-ahn handled them without getting me involved. They even protected my husband and me at the end of the night when we were dead tired from friends and family that wanted to party more. Michelle helped us escape to our hotel suite while Lan-ahn was the look-out to ensure no one knew where we were staying that night! :) Would I recommend Mele Amore to my friends/family? IN A HEART BEAT! They have been one of my top recommendations to all of our friends who were/are considering a professional wedding planner/coordinator. read more

My Husband and I always knew what kind of wedding we wanted. It was always one of our topics of conversation between us in the ten years we were dating (Yeah, I know, 10 YEARS! LOL). During our 10 years of dating, we had been to many of our friends' weddings, so we had seen/witnessed every type of wedding, weddings of other cultures, etc. He finally popped the question to me after 9 years of dating/being together. So now the wedding planning ensued... We usually don't throw big parties on our own, but for our special day, we wanted it to be the most memorable, unique, super fun, not so serious, not so uptight--wedding. My Husband and I are not the most detail-oriented, organized people, so we knew that we had to get a wedding planner to guarantee our wedding was going to be a success, especially with a 250+ guest count. Not to be biased, but I can say with no reservations that our wedding was the best wedding/party my Husband and I have ever been to. Our special day went EXACTLY how we envisioned and we honestly feel that it would not have panned out that way if it wasn't for our amazing wedding planner, LanAnh of Mele Amore, Inc! It is no exaggeration when I say she is the epitome of AMAZING! She is definitely our Ms. Ah-mazing! We interviewed six wedding planners total (All in one day LOL) but when we met LanAnh, we knew right then and there that she was going to be our girl. You know those conversations you have with your best friend for 2 hours+ and when you realize how much time has elapsed, you're like "Oh my god its been two hours already?" Yeah, that was how our first conversation with LanAnh went. She became our friend from the beginning and not just a business partner. She's super chill and friendly! LanAnh is also the living example of ORGANIZATION! My Husband and I are still completely blown away by how organized she is. We had many ideas/things/aspects we wanted to incorporate into our wedding but we did not want it to be complete chaos, no flow, or method. LanAnh was able to tie in all of our wants AND made it even BETTER than we were picturing. I know this is redundant, but she honestly is Ms. Ah-mazing! We have the same style; we love her "less is more" taste. We have had family and friends tell us everyday since the wedding that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. The details during our wedding were very specific to my Husband and me--and again, I am going to say it is all because of LanAnh, she made it happen. -She presented us with multiple style boards based on our tastes and preferences which helped us visualize better what our wedding would look like. This helped so much 'cause even though we had many ideas/pictures in our minds, it's different when you can actually visualize it on paper/iPad -She created multiple to-do lists for us which were such a BIG help -She reviewed all of our vendor contracts and made sure we would not go over budget -She would remind us when a vendor payment was approaching -She kept all of our vendors/wedding party on track and kept them in the know of everything regarding our wedding. All of them said she is on it and had nothing but praise for her. -She is available via text/e-mail/cell. She was always very quick to respond to all our messages/concerns and would provide her opinion if you had any questions about anything and everything. I even would text her when I would have mini drama stories, and yes, everyone will encounter that during wedding planning. She was my go to person for when I would need to vent about it and would know exactly what to say to calm me down and help me forget about the initial problem haha. She will let you know ahead of time if she will be unable to get to her phone/e-mail. The above mentioned just touches the tip of the iceberg of why we love LanAnh so much. If you really want a Wedding Planning team who will sincerely work hard to give you the wedding of your dreams, then look no further---LanAnh and the whole Mele Amore team is it. More people need to experience what it's like to have AMAZING in their lives :) read more

Mele Amore Events - Our Ms. Ah-mazing wedding planner and Us! - Party & Event Planning Near Me - Irvine, California

"Fairytale" doesn't begin to describe our wedding this past weekend on 9/26/2015. Husband and I began our wedding journey about 18 months prior to our wedding date. I thought to myself, I'm crafty, somewhat organized- we have so much time, we don't need a wedding coordinator. Well fast forward to a year later, 5 months before the wedding, and I'm ready to pull my hair out. Enter Farrah Dang from Mele Amore Events. You know that feeling when you go on vacation and you just know you forgot to pack something vital. Well, I had that anxious feeling in my stomach every day for months thinking I'm missing something key to the wedding. My wedding photographer suggested I get a wedding coordinator and recommended Mele Amore Events. Farrah is so organized and on top of everything. Husband and I got married at Padua Hills Theatre. It is such a beautiful venue and I was surprised to find out that many people and vendors have never heard of this little gem. Well, Farrah was among those that had never heard of the venue. I found out later that she made arrangements with the venue to visit the site and scope things out on her own just to familiarize herself with the venue. To me, that is going the extra mile. The have different packages for how much assistance you need for your wedding. Seeing as how I had most of the vendors and miscellaneous stuff taken care of, Michelle recommended the level 1 package. Even with the smallest package, they did more than anyone could have asked for. Farrah was taking care of things I didn't even know were things. Like vendor meals, meals for the wedding party while getting ready in the morning, she even had my dad's speech printed out for him before the grand entrance. I asked my dad how he even knew who my coordinator was and he said he didn't know, "she just handed my a piece of paper and it was my speech". The things Farrah and her team did to make sure the night went as perfectly as possible were more than I even asked for. During the wedding planning process, I changed my mind so many times about everything. Farrah was so sweet and accommodating. Even after the wedding is over and all payments have been made, I'm still getting emails from her to assist in the name changing process. Anyway, long story short- hiring a Mele Amore Events was the SECOND BEST DECISION EVER!! first being me saying yes to my husband's proposal. Thanks Farrah and Team for making our fairytale wedding come true. read more

The best advice I got in preparing for my wedding was to hire a wedding planner. Second to marrying my husband, this was, by far, the best decision I made for our big day. In the process of trying to find the right planner, we quickly got discouraged by a couple coordinators around our area who weren't willing to work with our smaller budget. When we saw the website for Mele Amore, we were absolutely floored by their work. We thought there was no way we would be lucky enough to have them help us, but sure enough, Michelle took us under her wing, and we are soooo glad she did! Michelle basically just came to our rescue and went way above and beyond! She is everything a couple could ask for in a coordinator/planner! We are talking one of a kind, creative, dependable, patient, organized, not afraid to take charge kind of person on top of being one of the sweetest, most caring people we've ever met! She not only made our ordinary ideas into something spectacular, she took on our small budget, which we stressed out about, and made it a nice challenge for herself. She worked incredibly hard to get what we wanted to fit within our price range. There was nothing she couldn't handle, including our almost impossible venue, who were not the easiest people to work with. Throughout the whole planning process, Michelle was right there helping us through and through. On the wedding day, she and her awesome teammate, LanAnh, took such amazing care of not just us, but our wedding party, family, and friends, as well. So many of our guests raved about them. We basically just wish they could plan every event in our lives because they are that amazing. If you're looking for a coordinator/planner, please look no further than Mele Amore. Our day was nothing less than perfect. It was so beautiful and more than we could ever hope for. We cannot say enough about how awesome they are! read more

When starting to plan our wedding, I asked some of our married friends for their advice... I asked them what they would've done differently, what were their most memorable moments, what was really worth the money, etc. The best advice they gave us was to hire a wedding coordinator. Of course, like any other couple, the most important thing to us was not to be stressed out on the day of. Ladies, if you want to convince your hubbies that it's worth it to hire a wedding coordinator, just ask the question "Don't you want to be a guest at your own wedding?" Now looking back, taking that advice was probably the best decision we made. I thought I was pretty organized and good at planning things, but these wedding coordinators take it to the next level. We had the pleasure of working with Farrah, who is the most organized, professional, and detail-oriented sweetheart ever. She is all of my OCD dreams come true! The Day of Coordination package includes 3 months of vendor correspondence and day of coordination, but I felt like from the moment we hired them (maybe 9 months out?), Farrah was so helpful with any questions I had. She also had great vendor recommendations and went above and beyond to save us money where she could. Throughout the whole process, she was attentive, reliable, and had such a great attitude. We didn't realize how many details actually went into the wedding until we were having our final meetings with her and she broke down the itinerary to the minute! Things I hadn't even thought of, she was already one step ahead and taking care of it. Even our other vendors mentioned to us how much they enjoyed working with her, and how they appreciated her attention to detail. On our wedding day, Farrah and helper Lan Anh, were like stealth-mode swat team wedding ninjas! They took care of everything from A-Z including picking up breakfast for the bridal party when we were getting ready! They always had one team member at each of our venue locations, and Farrah was with us throughout the day. Our Church coordinator was kind of a hot mess, but she never once let that lady's energy bring anyone down. She was always positive, calm, and ready to take on any and every moment of the day. We had a jam packed schedule, but she really helped us relax and we knew we could trust her. Thank you so much Farrah and the Mele Amore team for seamlessly executing the most important day of our lives. We got to enjoy every moment of it without one ounce of stress! Do yourselves a favor and hire Mele Amore for your big day!!! read more

Simply put, Michelle and her Mele Amore team are in a class all by themselves. From the first plans of looking at reception locations to signing the final bill on the night of the reception, Mele Amore was there every step of the way. You'll start to get the idea after a while why she gets Five star ratings on Yelp and Wedding Wire from not only Brides and Grooms, but also the vendors she works with. Her itineraries are bulletproof and the attention to detail will make you look and feel like the most important people in the world. She makes sure that every vendor is on the same page, at their best, and makes it all look effortless. Two weeks ago my wife and I had the greatest day of our lives. It was because of Michelle and Mele Amore Events that we could let go of all the stress and the concerns and enjoy our time with our family and friends. We can't thank you enough Michelle, great great job! read more

Michelle and the Mele Amore team are amazing. I came to them with the smallest idea and they turned it into the wedding of my dreams. They were prepared with everything, and every person they recommended from the photographer to the dj was AMAZING. My wedding was somewhat alternative. I basically told the team I wanted something "colorful.... but clean"... My husband would describe me as picky and controlling, but they never had to see that side of me, because everything they chose was exactly what I would have selected. By the end... I gave them complete freedom, and loved walking into a bright, colorful, classy wedding that my entire family is raving about to this day. read more

Our MeleAmore team was LanAnh, Liz and Tiffany (on the day of), and we couldn't have been happier! They made the entire day stress free and run so smoothly. Leading up to the big day there were meetings to go over the finest details and ensure that all the "i"s are dotted and "t"s crossed - all stuff that we didn't know to think of. They coordinate communication with the vendors so that the last couple of weeks, I didn't have to do much at all as the timelines, and last minute questions were all taken care of by our planners. Then, even when when you plan everything to the minute, unexpected things can happen. There were a few big hiccups throughout the day (mostly due to the bride's fault) and the guests did not notice anything was off, even though the program timeline changed quite a bit. Overall a big thank you to LanAnh and Liz for saving the day and giving us a fantastic, memorable and fun wedding. You need trustworthy and organized coordinators for your wedding, and I give them my highest recommendation! read more

How did I not write a review for Mele yet?! Working with Michelle to plan our wedding was one of the best things about it! Her Team & suggested vendors made the memories of that day a giant WIN! We planned our wedding from Northern California, with it taking place in Southern California. Michelle's communication, efficiency & vision made the process that much smoother. The day went by smoothly and we received so much positive feedback from our family & friends. Happy to know they enjoyed the time, as most flew in from afar. Fast forward to this year, Michelle is working with my younger sister on her wedding and I couldn't be more excited for it! Fun fact, she also managed one of my close friend's fabulous wedding and my bridesmaid dress zipper broke 1 hour before the ceremony. Michelle stayed calm as she sewed (she had invisible thread of course) me into the dress at the Church before the ceremony. No one could tell it had even broken. She's *magic* I tell you! Her talents speak for themselves. The added bonus is she's a sweetheart with killer style too! LanAnh is also a GEM (still have wedding dress envy of her)! xoxo, PQwedding read more

The team at Mele Amore is awesome! They were instrumental in us having an amazing wedding day last November. They are so organized and on top of everything, my bride and I could relax on the day-of knowing we were in their hands. Do you know what that's worth on the most stressful event of your life? Priceless!! I cannot thank Lanh Anh, Michelle and Nam enough! They don't just think of everything ahead of time, they anticipate what you need in real time. This level of intuitive anticipation is a difference maker. They are professional, intelligent, prepared, and they are just good, down to earth people. You cannot find a better wedding planner company. So stop looking and hire them before they're booked solid!! I'm referring them to everyone I know. read more

My husband and I wanted to write our review for Mele Amore while the memory is still fresh. The Team at Mele Amore helped us plan our dream wedding last month. The level of service and care were above and beyond and we are so grateful for their help. LanAnh helped us select the best vendors and was instrumental in our beginning stages of our planning process. She helped us find our photographer, event space, make up artists, florists, uplighting, Dj/MC, officiant, you name it... she had suggestions and quality suggestions at that. Planning a wedding is a really difficult task and really overwhelming for a newly engaged couple with only 6 months before the wedding date. LanAnh's assistance was crucial and made everything so much smoother than we had anticipated for our 200+ guest wedding that was within our budget! Later in the process we were assisted by Michelle & Nam, who coordinated with our vendors and helped us with everything for the wedding day. They have such a calming influence. Their level of detail and service was remarkable and flawless. We had copies of our itinerary & to-do lists that were broken down and easy to manage. They literally were so organized and kept track of everything for us. We both work FULL-TIME so having to not jump onto the computer in the evenings to jot notes, update our to-do list, and do EVERYTHING ourselves was a big relief. I started my own spreadsheets and to-do lists in the beginning stages of planning and ended up not using them because Mele Amore had everything covered. Michelle & Nam were our day of team and the timing was perfect. Based on Michelle's itinerary, we had more than enough time to get ready, take photos, be on site, and we didn't miss/skip/overrun on anything. Nam was a complete sweetheart as well. He made sure we ate and had nourishment throughout the day! :) There was just so many little things that Michelle & Nam did to contribute to our magical day. It makes me smile from ear to ear just thinkin' about it lol. To sum it up, my husband and I loved working with the entire team and we recommend them to any of our friends. We had the perfect wedding, and felt like we were taken care of by professionals until the very last minute of our wedding night. This team does not just meet your expectations, they anticipate your needs before you know you even need it. This is the service that is rare, exceptional, and we couldn't be happier. Thanks Team Mele Amore! xo P.S. I also used Mele Amore's photo booth service and the photos came out great. Highly recommended as well. =) read more
