Everything felt fresh, welcoming, and well cared for, which immediately set the tone for a great experience. Cleanliness really matters to me, especially when visiting with my kids...and Sugar Planet exceeded expectations! What truly made our visit unforgettable, though, was David. He was phenomenal. My 10 year old son had a LOT of excitement and curiosity, and David handled all of it with incredible patience and genuine kindness, especially when my son was checking out and counting his money. He took his time, never rushed us, and made my son feel comfortable, heard, and important. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does and cares about the people who walk through the door. David's friendly attitude and calm, positive energy turned what could have been a quick stop into a really special experience for us. My kids left smiling, excited, and already asking when we can come back, which says everything. If you're looking for a clean, welcoming place with outstanding customer service, Sugar Planet is it. And if you're lucky enough to be helped by David, you're guaranteed an even better experience. We will absolutely be returning and recommending this place to everyone we know.

Many, many, many toys were already broken on the shelf and you have to find a working item. I understand how important small businesses are to our community and generally try to support them whenever possible. Unfortunately, my experience at this establishment was very disappointing. During my visit, I spent approximately $45 and was made to feel as though I was being treated with suspicion, despite giving no reason for concern. The way I was looked at and spoken to left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. In addition, I was troubled by the way the owner appeared to interact with both customers and employees. Professionalism, respect, and good customer service are essential in any business, and unfortunately, that was not the experience I had. I hope this feedback is taken constructively so that future customers and employees are treated with the courtesy and respect they deserve.

The moment you walk in, you can tell this isn't some big chain pretending to be local--this is the kind of spot that actually is local. Fresh produce that looks like it came straight off the farm, a great selection of meats, and plenty of those little extras you didn't know you needed until you saw them. What I really appreciate is the quality. Everything I've picked up here--from the vegetables to the cuts of meat--has been fresh, flavorful, and worth every penny. You can taste the difference. And here's a bonus I didn't expect--I can actually find items here for making Indonesian meals. That's not something you see everywhere, and it's a big win in my book. The staff are friendly, helpful, and make you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. That kind of service goes a long way. It's the kind of place you swing by once... and then suddenly it's part of your weekly routine.
