We bought longer eye bolts for our stand. Our stand can handle up to 8ft trees. But the base of the tree is super skinny. We bought the one similar to the noble fir. Without discussing with us, they returned the prefab material we chose and exchanged it for anothet slab of the same material so they could make another custom cut. The results as you can see were uneven and poor. The fact that they did not inform us that they were trading out our selected prehab, shows a lack of professionalism and honesty. I would say there are better options out there then this.

Kevin Surratt at Orchard Valley Builders was recommended to us by a termite extermination company…read morethat has been recommending him for over a decade. After hiring him to repair the termite damage, I can see why. Kevin came out to give us an estimate on the same day we called. We had gathered 3 or 4 estimates. Kevin was by far the most reasonably priced. He was able to quickly evaluate whether each stud repair would require bracing the house or whether the stud was not in a load-bearing wall, whereas some of the others assumed the worst and priced the job that way. He was 100% correct in all cases and this saved us thousands of dollars. Kevin was FAST! We are doing some DIY repairs ourselves. Kevin could do in 1/2 hour what was taking us 4 hours. From many years of experience Kevin could offer creative, cost-effective solutions for the renovation which he then completed with care and efficiency. He was always punctual, courteous, respectful of our property and kept the work area neat. He listened carefully to what we wanted and he gave it to us, even if it was something different than the usual way of doing things. Kevin was very honest. When we asked if we should make certain repairs, he advised us against it since there would be no real benefit, even though it meant less money for him. He was always accessible by phone and clearly communicated key information. He is very knowledgeable and answered all our many questions patiently. He was very easy to work with, and was very interesting to talk to. So, although we hired Kevin to replace just a few studs, we added other tasks such as re-siding the chimney, some plumbing tasks, installing doors and windows, etc. He has experience in just about every aspect of construction, and does each job well. Highly recommend!

It took me about 4 months to obtain the permit for the garage and home remodeling, but once that was sorted, found 9Builders on FB group. I interviewed about 10 contractors, but I decided to go with 9Builders because of a few cutting-edge technologies they offered to save costs for me, including the ability to track electrical usage through an app. They also helped customize and build a couple of granite tables for the guests to eat and work, which is a plus because they added a perfect touch to the space & matching with the marbles throughout. The garage conversion was a standout, 9Builders transformed the space into a modern & functional studio. They insulated the walls, installed new flooring and added a sleek kitchenette that made the studio feel luxurious yet comfortable. For the remodeling work, they updated the kitchen with new cabinets, countertops, and energy-efficient appliances. The living room and bathrooms also received upgrades with custom lighting and fresh finishes. The team manager, Tuan, guided me through the process with clear communication and attention to detail, and he also took me to different home improvement stores to pick out the finishing products. The new spaces are now perfect for Airbnb guests, and I've already started receiving great reviews. will definitely work with them again in the future.

I was originally working with a different contractor and I had concerns that they weren't going to be able to meet my needs. That is when I met Tal Braun and he took in all of the information. There was zero pressure and he was very informative and insightful. He took me to see a project that his crew was working on in SJ and when I saw the crew working I knew that they were the right company for me. The most impressive part of the process is the communication amongst the teams. Despite supply chain issues and delays, they were still able to hit all of the timelines because we had to move out of the house for the construction. I won't belabor the review, just know that you can trust Tal and his team. He was straightforward and trustworthy throughout the process. I have already referred him to several friends. If you have any doubts, drop them and go with Tal!

Firstly, I want to provide some background.. We just bought a home that had a kitchen that was…read moreunusable. We had given notice to our apartment to move out in a month so that we don't bear both the mortgage and the rent together. Hence we only had a month to remodel the Kitchen so speed to completion was the highest priority for me. We did get bids from 2 other companies as well and we went with Remodel Design and Build after talking to Tal (their Project Mgr). The first thing that set them apart was the in-person time they spent in looking at the Kitchen, measuring everything, and providing detailed specifics on what needs to be done. At the end, they provided me a detailed quote on each and every line item, unlike others who lumped everything in their quote which could quickly turn into guess work. The second thing was the Time to completion. They gutted the old kitchen and fully finished the new kitchen to perfection in 3 weeks time (including permits, inspections, labor etc).. This was unbelievable and was the most important aspect for us. Nhi was our Foreman and had an excellent handle on things. He foresaw many things upfront and gave us suggestions to change or replace so that things fall well in place. As you can imagine, gutting a kitchen, replacing flooring and getting a new kitchen including all appliances installed is no small job, but Nhi and team finished everything on Time and the day we moved in is when they moved out.. Could not have asked for a better timing with my 4 yr old and old parents with me, the last thing I wanted was a dusty and noisy home. But it was well taken care of before we arrived so that we can start living. They are definitely not the cheapest out there but they are the most professional, on time, transparent and don't charge a dime beyond what was signed on the dotted line. I'm attaching photos of the old and new Kitchen.
