We have been wanting to go bowling for a while and realized that Las Vegas has many bowling alleys, which is refreshing to see as lots have closed in other cities. We decided to try out this one as the size of it impressed me right away. 72 lanes! When you walk in, it is hard to see from one side to other without having to turn your head. The check in counter was not busy when we went and the two people working there were very friendly and helpful. We went in the evening so it is $5 a game and $5 for shoe rental. We decided on 2 games and you pay ahead. At your assigned lane, you get to select the type of game you want, how each person name will appear and you can even take a selfie from the screen at the lane if you want to customize your game that far, which we did. You can chose to have bumpers come up, but we didn't have any children with us. The choice of house balls was good as there were various weights to chose from. The computerized scoring keeps score for you so you don't have to figure it out, but I still remember how! There is a choice for you to edit your score, but I didn't find out to what extent you can do that. Not sure if you can edit it so you bowl a 300? There was a special for bowlers 50 years and older to bowl daily from 10am to 2 pm for $2.50 a game or 3 games for $6. But it was called the Winter Special and the person at the check in desk didn't know how long it would be going on for. She did point out that there is a Sunday morning special rate which I believe is also $2.50 to $3 a game. Probably should call ahead to check which specials are going on. Definitely will be back as my game was really bad and needs much work.

Cosmic Bowing starts at 5:00 p.m.on Sat. for older folk like me, who are in bed by 10 p.m.!

Parents you need to know that moonlight bowling begins at 5 on Saturdays! This is so awesome for the kids who want to go, and for the parents who can't stay awake past the 9 p.m. starting time on Fri. nights! Plus, there's less bad language heard because it's earlier in the evening. Leagues are forming now, so if you live bowling, consider signing up for the fall! This place has a ton of lanes, and it's not too expensive. If you bowl frequently, skip renting shoes, and buy yourself and kids a pair! You can check out their ProShop, or try Amazon or Zappos too!

The cost for 2 adults and 2 kids to rent shoes and bowl 2 games was over $50. Way too expensive at this bowling alley!!!

Butter toffee cake- 4/5 Im usually a lemon pepper or buffalo medium/hot fan, so the "suicide with garlic Parmesan" was the custom order our friend did and was MIND BLOWINGLY ADDICTIVE GOOOOOD. What they do is they have a base seasoning, then they can also toss it in a second sauce after the second fry. The "suicide" sounded so deadly, but wasn't spicy at all. The heat was just about average. The garlic Parmesan sauce is SO GOOD I Swear they put something in there that gets you SO HOOKED, we went back several days later just to get 3 lbs of this particular flavor and finished it between 2 of us. Fried mushrooms - 3/5 (it's a bit over fried IMHO, but I loved the sauce) Oh, and they make their blue cheese sauce in house.

The location is on Sunset and nearest cross street is Green Valley. It is in the same parking lot as Joes Crab Shack. I kept looking around for it because the buildings on that side of the complex looks deserted. I eventually saw the banner as there're is no sign up yet Inside you can tell they are still getting it all together. There was a rock band setting up and getting their sound right Now on to the most important thing the food. We ordered the lemon pepper wings , Catfish and Fries. The run a $1 wing special daily according to our server Amber. The lemon pepper to me was kind of salty, the catfish was kind of fishy I wouldn't get that again if I went back. The service was kind of slow as there was only one waitress working the inside and outside areas, she did a great job but they definitely need to hire more servers. I was able to meet the owner who said his name was "Papa". I had a hard time believing that lol, as it sounded more like a nickname or maybe he's somebody's "Papa? Either way he was nice and said they had been there six months and he was getting it all together. According to the owner the hamburgers and the wings are the best sellers, he stated they have different genres of music different nights, Comedy and Karaoke nights along with Trivia nights. It's a great local business to support and I'll try it one more time and try the burger for sure .

Usually it's just to fly out of Las Vegas for a work trip. This time though, I was in area for the US Post office. Looking for nearby places to eat, I saw that Smoke & Fire was only 10 minutes away! My husband and I stopped by for dinner around 3:30 P.M on a Friday at Smoke & Fire. The restaurant is located near South Pecos Road and East Russell Road. There was plenty of parking spots available. As I walked inside the restaurant, a team member had greeted us and let us know that it was open seating. There were only a few other customers inside the restaurant at the time we had dinner. There was plenty of tables inside and outside the restaurant though! TVs were situated throughout the restaurant. There was a variety of sports games playing. When we sat at our table, the team member brought over menus and asked if we'd like anything to drink while we looked through the menu. She also went through any dietary restrictions and some of their highlights at the restaurant, specifically, Smoke & Fire is known for their blueberry chicken sandwich. There are other options on their menu though, like BBQ items! Meat platters: Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, Brisket, Smoked Ribs, Hot Links, smoked Chicken Quarters. Sandwiches: Chicken Sandwiches, Brisket Sandwich, Donut Smashed Burger (Seasonal), Sliders Chicken and Waffles, Street Style Tacos, Chicken Tenders and more! After looking through the menu, we ultimately decided on the following 3 Meat Platter: Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, and Brisket with Mac N Cheese/Sweet Potato Tots The World Famous Blueberry Chicken Sandwich: Pepper Jack Cheese, Housemade Blueberry Jam, blueberry aioli, and Jalapeno. The service was super quick. I don't think we waited longer than 10 minutes for our meal. It was nice that our meal was served in to go containers as well! The highlight of the meal was the blueberry chicken sandwich. The chicken was juicy and tender. The blueberry aioli and the jam was scrumptious. This was a first time having a sandwich like this before! I would come back to Smoke & Fire just to get the sandwich. The BBQ pulled pork, pulled chicken and brisket was good. I enjoyed the mac n cheese and the sweet potato tots though! I don't normally see sweet potato tots so I just had to try it out! They were super crispy and packed with flavor. The food was yummy here and the service was fantastic! If I'm in the area again, I would stop by Smoke & Fire to have another meal. I think next time though, I am going to have to try out their pulled pork burger!

We ordered the roast beef dip with garlic fries, plus a 1 lb order of wings ( 1/2 buffalo, 1/2 teriyaki). I was really excited for the dip sandwich, but unfortunately it didn't quite hit...it was a bit lacking in flavor. The garlic fries were the saving grace, though I wouldn't be mad if they went heavier on the aioli next time. The wings were solid. We forgot to ask for them extra crispy (which is on us), but they were still full of flavor and a good size. Definitely enjoyable. Overall, not a bad spot at all. It's a great place to catch a game, grab a bite, and hang out. We'd come back if we're in the area, especially since the pizza looked really good at nearby tables.
