This was my second time bowling here and I went to the bathroom when my game was over and realized I left my shoes--I was gone from the lane to the toilet for 5 minutes when I realized I left my shoes. I came out and went to the lane and another family was there, i was told the table had been cleaned. I went to the front desk and Nicholas ignored my issue for other, non-Black, customers and then came back to say there was no sandals and maybe security took them. He didn't call security--I walked around looking for someone and had to request he call someone when I couldn't find security. Security came and asked me about my sandals and then stated that they could be in the trash; I asked him to look anyways and when they weren't found, he went and checked the trash and someone had thrown them away! I'm not sure if it was the family who came afterwards or the person who cleaned things up but I genuinely don't understand how my shoes ended up in the trash? I paid $50 to bowl here and my shoes got tossed in the trash. read more

The ambience is cool, we didn't order food yet. We came here to celebrate Veterans Day with our friends since he's a veteran. We rented two lanes since each family had four. The customers service of Matthew was not very nice. He was very disrespectful to our friend, the veteran. He saw that we had kids in our group and didn't turn on the bumpers in either lane. He split us up 4 and 4 without asking how we wanted to be split. He was rude when we went to ask about the situation and offered no resolution other than to pay twice for one bowler. That is no way to treat a veteran or any customer for that matter. I will be taking my business to Sam's Town in the future. read more

Came here on a Saturday night at 9pm. As I was walking down the lanes to the front desk I saw that there are a ton of open lanes and thought I'd have no issue getting in. I was dead wrong. Somehow, despite all the open lanes, there was a 1.5 hour wait. That's crazy! Do they have that many lanes that are broken? Cosmic bowling also starts ridiculously early on the weekends, 4pm. Rude workers. I am immune compromised and wanted to get out for a night of enjoyment. We asked to have a lane away from people. They were not busy with 6 open lanes to our left. But they put a family with kids right next to us. So we asked to be moved, which they rudely did but shortly after they put someone right next to us even though they had open lanes elsewhere. The place charged me 42 dollars for only three people the place was also dirty and the employees over there had bad attitude and the game time drowns fast so if I were you I would not go because it's a waste of money. There is also not that many employees and we did not try the food but it looks edible and that what matters. Also half of the lanes were broken/out of service and the place was stacked. And they also expected one security guard to handle a whole stack of people like what if something bad happens it's a casino and they have kids so they should know way better than this so I would not recommend this place to play bowling at. read more

We have been wanting to go bowling for a while and realized that Las Vegas has many bowling alleys, which is refreshing to see as lots have closed in other cities. We decided to try out this one as the size of it impressed me right away. 72 lanes! When you walk in, it is hard to see from one side to other without having to turn your head. The check in counter was not busy when we went and the two people working there were very friendly and helpful. We went in the evening so it is $5 a game and $5 for shoe rental. We decided on 2 games and you pay ahead. At your assigned lane, you get to select the type of game you want, how each person name will appear and you can even take a selfie from the screen at the lane if you want to customize your game that far, which we did. You can chose to have bumpers come up, but we didn't have any children with us. The choice of house balls was good as there were various weights to chose from. The computerized scoring keeps score for you so you don't have to figure it out, but I still remember how! There is a choice for you to edit your score, but I didn't find out to what extent you can do that. Not sure if you can edit it so you bowl a 300? There was a special for bowlers 50 years and older to bowl daily from 10am to 2 pm for $2.50 a game or 3 games for $6. But it was called the Winter Special and the person at the check in desk didn't know how long it would be going on for. She did point out that there is a Sunday morning special rate which I believe is also $2.50 to $3 a game. Probably should call ahead to check which specials are going on. Definitely will be back as my game was really bad and needs much work. read more

This is so awesome for the kids who want to go, and for the parents who can't stay awake past the 9 p.m. starting time on Fri. nights! Atmosphere was vibrant there was a lot of ppl there when we went ppl training for league and a party on the other side we were able to get 2 lanes next to each other. Sunset Station is a Palace of Entertainment in the City of Henderson. When I want to feel like a King for an hour or two King Pin Lounge is one of the Sunset Station bars I will hang out in. Sunset Station can also be seen as a mall of bars. King Pin Lounge is the bar adjacent to the Strike Zone Bowling Center ( just like in the other Station casinos). It is a bar where I enjoy a $3 Bud Light draft while taking in the bowling scene. Their Blue Hawaiins and Spicy Bloody Marys are likewise decent. I see bowling alleys are upbeat places. There is something nice about the sound of a ball barrelling through an alley crashing into pins. Whether I am just hanging out or bowling, I enjoy drinking a cold one around all this upbeat energy. Because Sunset Station is a Palace of Entertainment with a focus on gaming, the majority of its bar stools overlook a Game Maker machine. This is also an advantage to the patron. From my experience here, when the bar tender saw me gambling ($5 at digital Keno), the Bud Lights have been on the house. Disparite from Rosalita's Cantina at the far end of the casino, the bartender has passed over mandating maximum betting. The disadvantage to the patron is that the machines appear to be the tightest machines in Sunset Station. King Pin Lounge is also a bar to view sports. There are HD TVs throughout the bar. From the back stools I would look up to see a professional sports game on the HD TV above and bowlers straight ahead. In addition to being a bar, King Pin Lounge is a decent hangout spot. There are a couple of arcade games, a pool table, and a neat bowling pin chandelier. Service is hit and miss. Sometimes I have to wait for the bartender. Other times the bartender is assertive with bringing drinks. When I review bars, I strive to take into consideration the opportunities for sobering up when I incorporate the rating. Before I wrap up this review, I will mention that if the water has been flowing too fast that there are plenty of opportunities to sober up. Bowling could be fun when your buzzed. There is a state-of-the-art Regal cinemas. If your hungry the Grand Cafe and a couple food court restaurants are open 24 hours. I have been coming to Strike Zone for, gosh, as long as I can remember. Although I'm not the greatest at bowling, coming to Strike Zone is more of a place to gather and have a great time with loved ones. That being said, it's been quite a while since I've gone bowling and I've recently recovered from a slight injury in my arm. Nothing too bad, it just makes it more difficult to bowl like I used to. With that being said, my bowling tonight isn't the greatest, and my sister's boyfriend felt bad I was having a difficult time with my coordination and was relearning my bowling technique, so he walked back to the welcome center and asked the male worker behind the desk if he could please add lane bumpers to my turn as I am learning how to bowl. The worker then replied to him in an extremely demeaning and rude tone that "No." My sister's boyfriend was surprised and kindly asked "...Why?" to which the worker replied: "No, we don't do that for adults." Now, it takes a lot to upset my sister's boyfriend but when he was walking back to our lane looking rather upset, we knew that the worker had to have been pretty curt and disrespectful. I was shocked to learn that such a simple request was denied due to my apparent age, let alone, a denial such as that became unknowingly, borderline ableist. What if somebody is recovering from a broken arm, pulled muscles, etc. and are denied a simple request of bumpers due to their age? That is beyond unprofessional and disrespectful, especially since we paid for a total of 3 consecutive game and have been customers for two decades. This occurred at 7:56PM, so a few minutes ago. I will most certainly be attending other bowling alleys that will be more than happy to accommodate me and my family. read more

So I decided a little bowling and a couple drinks for my 21st birthday would be great at sunset station. Turns out I was highly wrong the bartender (which there was only one of) named asked us what we would like to get. After that we asked if he had menus and no menus. Then shook his head then my friend she'd like a double shot of tennessee fire and i said me too. Then he proceeded to put his hand up in a weird U shaped form sideways. IDS right??? After no speaking I said "It's my birthday". He then took his phone out and looked at my ID for like two minutes with the flash and said great. He brings over the double and single shot of tennessee fire and a small glass of coke. Somehow came out to 26$ so that means 10$ a shot? and 6$ for a coke??? Forgets the coke, my chaser forgets completely I thought he was going back to get it and he never came back to check or bring the coke. Took abt 20 min to get that too. We had a birthday party here and we had a blast. The employees that worked here were friendly and helpful. This isn't a place that a professional bowler would come to bowl (i think). The lane that we were on slanted to the left. Maybe that is how all bowling lanes are? Like I said, I'm not a pro. What this place is, is just awesome for kids. After you pay for your lanes your assigned area and use the little screen attached to the table to enter your names. You will have options to have bumpers pop up for your kids so they won't have gutter balls. You can also adjust scores and even change the theme of the game. They have several options to choose from. The place was nice and clean. Everything that we used worked which tells me they have good maintenance. The restroom were clean also. One of the only things I didn't like was in the middle of the bowling ally there was a bar and it had a strong smoke smell coming from it. read more

The Snack Bar ranks right up there w/the worst. There's a Big tournament going on along w/open bowling and there's only 2ppl working. The wait was extremely long. You'd think they'd bring in more help to accommodate the large crowds. Add to that they don't sell Nachos, a main staple of any bowling center. Inexpensive, great way to have family fun. It is away from the casino part, so it doesn't even feel like going to a casino. We love to bowl and this place is great. They have enough smaller bowling balls, so I always get one. At other bowling alleys, they often do not have the size 8's. But here, not a problem.
