I am 32, born and raised in Vegas. I grew up coming here A LOT but since I had kids I haven't been in years. Today, we came to Sunset Station Strike Zone Bowling Center as a family of 8, FIRST TIME and it was RUINED. We were so outraged and confused, we left bewildered and upset. When we paid $138, we asked if there was a time limit that we have to be done by and they said NO. We had 2 lanes. 1 for our 4 children, ages 7, 5, 4, & 2 1/2. The other lane for us 4 adults. Our first time going here as a "FAMILY" and first time my children bowled. We had to ask to get the bumpers up for them which took some time. We had to help our kids while also playing our game. So it was back and forth effort. It was fun at first. Kids were loving it. Until Cody the manager or supervisor came over to tell us we have to hurry and be done by 6pm because a league is coming in. He said "we can pause the game if you aren't finished and move it to another lane." We said "okay we should be done by then" in confusion because they said we didn't have a time limit but now we do. Most of the other lanes there were EMPTY. So if they knew a league was coming in, why did they put us at the very first 2 lanes?! So at exactly 6pm the kids weren't done yet and the manager didn't come over to say let's move the game over, he just turned the lane off and shut off their game. They were so upset. They were enjoying learning how to bowl and having fun. My husband went to the desk and talked to Cody. They talked and he didn't seem to care. He also didn't want to move the game over anymore either. There was a table now set up with people at it running the league or something and we talked to them. They said "they didn't have any control over that happening and aren't starting till 6:30pm." My kids would have been done with their game before that if he just left it alone. But caused this whole problem that took 30mins dealing with. Very confusing and upsetting. This was our first and last time coming here. Sad. Regardless of a refund that took 30mins to argue to get back, it's the principal and we shouldn't have gone through this. It could have been avoided 100%. Standing around waiting to see if it would get resolved, while everyone stared at us and listened to our conversation, while they gossiped with eachother and some guy even pointed at us smiling/laughing while talking to his league members was MORE upsetting and the whole thing was EMBARRASSING. We are a family and thought this would be the best, fun, thing to do but we were wrong. Very disappointed. How rude and completely unnecessary and unprofessional. Ridiculous. read more

First time at the location; the bowling registration desk was a mess. We asked for 2 games with 2 players for the 1st game and only 1 player for the 2nd game. We had to explain this multiple times to the worker and he still did not understand. We get to playing our 2nd game and was cut off half way through the game. They asked to see the receipt even though they have our lane number. After all that fuss it shows we were charged for 1 game with 3 people, which doesn't even explain how we got to play a 2nd round even if it was half a game. I suggest becoming clairvoyant because Strikezone has no digitally posted calendar, up to date schedule or anything for a person to reference. Even the schedule posted on the main board in the center isn't accurate or update. There are times when it's cosmic bowling and the posted schedule would indicate it shouldn't be. You would think that in the year 2026, something as basic as these things would be taken care of. Rather, the facility is stuck in 1996. read more

We came here with a group of 9 people snd got 2 lanes. We played 2 1/2 games in the 2 hour time slot. This location has 72 lanes, Game Center, bar, food court, pool tables and store inside. We had such a great time and the food was also really good. We had the cheeseburger, hotdog, wings and chicken fingers. The prices were about what you would pay everywhere else. I love Strike Zone! I live just a few miles away, and I love to bowl. The people here are very nice, especially the control desk employees. The place is very clean, and the maintenance crew always works hard to keep everything spic and span, even the restrooms are well maintained. My only thing is, because I'm a "competitive bowler", the oil on the lanes can be really inconsistent, but that makes bowling even more challenging. read more

We had a group of 35 coworkers for a bowling social here and we had a great time! We reserved 7 lanes for 2 hours. Included pizza and pitchers of soda. The only reason I couldn't give it more stars was because the food was just ok. Pizza didn't have much flavor, a pitcher of water was $6.50- that's crazy! We would call to speak with someone on the intercom but no one would pick up. One of our fiends had to go to the desk to tell them of our issues. Nice to see such a large bowling alley in a good location with ample packing. Finding it was difficult however within the casino property. Staff was friendly at the checkin, bar and snack bar. $20 for 3 games and shoes is super affordable in comparison to prices other places for non cosmic bowling. Bowl racks were clearly labeled with weight labels and bowls weren't overly scratched. We had to reset the pins a few times within the games but all in all a solid experience. Beer served at the bar comes in bottles but the bottles are appropriately cold and feature most of the major brands. They also seemed to have an extensive list of alcohol to make cocktails. At the snack bar, it mostly fried food and pizza. I got the seasoned fries, which were crispy, hot but a tad salty for my taste. I know most of the time you start a review off about the main activity of what that company offers. French fries or the last thing on the list... It all comes down to this. The fried food ordered from the snack station. That food was fresh, deep-fried, right when we ordered it... They were the crispiest freshest oil fries I've ever had! Good times bowling with my boys. Very fair pricing. Friendly and ready to help staff members. During these flaming times thought we'd keep our kids cool and hit the bowling alley. Today we were a family of four so we got two games for $10, 4 shoe rentals at $7 and of course I forgot my socks so had to pay $4 to get a pair there. Like I said great pricing for big families. Half way through our game we were all hangry . We ordered a full pepperoni pizza 16$. Chicken wings meal $9 (the wings were a lil cold in my opinion, but that didn't keep my boys from demolishing them), King pin burger $9, chicken tenders meal for my lil guy $9. All meals came with fries and a drink. Boys were able to get their own drink and I stuck to my ice water in my flask (stay hydrated friends). We were all in a food coma for our second game. Had a fun day bowling with a volunteer organization! The lanes were set up well and the shoes were easy to access and were clean. Staff was friendly. Pizza was good. There were also vending machines for soda too. Restroom was clean. I was craving some cosmic bowling last night. After a quick Google search, Strike Zone popped up and I was SOLD. The photos looked lively and by the looks of it, there were quite a few lanes. I called to verify costs and to see if there were any reservations. Unfortunately, it is first come first serve so you kind of have to gamble in that aspect. Costs are $5 shoe rental, plus $6/game. I'm not sure if these are regular costs or if these are weekend costs, but either way I was OK with this. There are definitely cheaper places you can go throughout Vegas, but I loved the look of here. Upon arrival, the line seemed to be long but it was actually just large groups. Thankfully, we were able to get in just fine. Snack bar and bar bar were directly behind the lanes, so no reason to walk far to indulge. We opted for 2 games and spent quite some time there. They had the music going as well as the strobe lights. Definitely a fun time out and a nice time away from the party scene that I do not typically care for. Bathrooms were semi-clean and bar drinks were reasonable. I did not have anything from the snack bar, so I don't have any input regarding the wait times/food quality. Staff were very friendly and helpful when I switched out sizes; it seems as if there shoes run pretty large. I sized down 1/2 size for a better fit. Our lane (#34) glitched one time and reflected 0 pins knocked down instead of the 8, so that was a bit bizarre. Other than that, we had a great time and will be back! read more

What can I say about not just this place but the staff. Can I say OUTSTANDING. I have never been cared for like I was here. I went into the pro shop to inquire about shoes. Johnny was working alone and had a pretty long list of things to do for awaiting customers. He stopped what he was doing to accommodate me and all of my questions. He even went so far to stop assisting a pro bowler in town for a tournament to help me with a bowling starter pack. I ended up there for over an hour. I left with shoes, towel, bag, engraved ball and other goodies..... the whole shabang . I immediately went home to change clothes and headed right back out to come and play s few games. I don't bowl as much as I would like to. I mean, what's my excuse? I have a ball. I have shoes. And I live in the Vegas Valley which has probably more bowling alleys per capita than anywhere else I know. But I do go out to the lanes from time to time and remind myself how badly I suck at bowling. Like today for example. I hit the lanes at Sunset Station for a couple of games at $3 per game. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon. Strike Zone is not a bad bowling alley. There are some high end decorative glass lighting features which give it a hint of class. There is an area with billiards and an arcade. There is a pro shop with balls, shoes and gear. A snack bar. A regular bar. Oh yeah, and 70+ lanes on which to bowl. I was assigned to lane 47 today and had the whole area to myself. I didn't have to wait for anybody and finished my two games in very short order. The lane was in great condition and generously oiled. The entire place was clean as could be and even had somebody cleaning all the tables all the way down from one end to the other. This is a well cared for place. One that I would not mind coming back to next time I get the urge to bowl. read more
