We came here in hopes of buying a pizza to eat during the experience but they were all out. So we sent someone from our group to go to Little Caesar's and bring one back. Upon returning, the young lady employee would not let us bring it in, even though somebody else was eating mexican food in the lanes right next to us. So we had to leave and eat in the middle of the casino. At the end of our game, the older male employee had lost my friend's shoes. We were getting a bit upset (rightfully so) and he just gave up, saying "I don't even care anymore". It was a bad experience due to the policies and staff members, but I feel bad for them that they are so depressed at work to the point where they don't prioritise decent service and professionalism. read more

Mood: Friday Fun as a local Looking for off strip fun where prices match then here is the place. I love bowling and just I could do it more often. It's of course a good big size bowling alley inside Sams Town hotel and casino. For a Friday night I am glad it was crowded with no reservation needed. It's fun for all ages especially adults. For a cooler effect, after 7 the lights go off and it turns into neon glow in the dark bowling. The music is turned up a little and sports are playing on all tvs. The bar is inside so you don't have to go through the casino to grab beer or cocktails. Make sure you order the wings as well. So good. We had buffalo hot and mango habanero (sweet and spicy) would always recommend these two. Id give them 8/10 only because the fries were somewhat over cooked. read more

I just need to state that the worker Ian is very rude. He didn't greet me and my gf as we walked in and just asked what do you want. Then I gave him our IDs and asked for just one game thinking he heard me. He then told me that it was only the one hour package when I've seen that it was 7-8 dollars a game for the Xtreme bowling times. So we got charged $57 dollars for the shoes and the 1 hour while we did play 2 games that lasted thirty min each we only came for one game but were practically forced too pay for and play 2-3. This is an average bowling alley especially when it comes to its offerings. With beer, they offered domestic beers in tiny cups under 20 Oz for $6. The snack bar was staffed by one guy but everytime I walked by he wasn't there. However, they do have a QR code at your lane to order from both places. As for the bowling experience, avoid lanes 11 and 12 as there is no air flow from fans at those lanes. You can get 2 hours of bowling and shoes for $20, which is actually a pretty good deal based on regular prices if you don't have a large group. Perhaps the weirdest thing was that in order to get your bowling shoes, you have to turn in one of your shoes. It was kinda bizarre but I guess they have issues with people taking shoes. Even though it was a league night, there seemed to not be a lot of balls with small finger holes. All the equipment functioned properly except that the bumpers didn't engage when we put them on when we tried to put the bummers on mid play session. It was a fine experience but I would probably go to one of the Station Casinos if I am looking for a better overall experience. read more

Had a blast bowling with the family while on vacation. Great location and reasonable prices. Minus one star for the 2 employees working at the counter. The girl wasn't friendly at all. She looked as if she works rather be anywhere else and did not respond when any of my family members exchanged our footwear for the v rental shoes. Same with the gentleman. I actually heard him be short with the customer before me and his greeting to me was very clipped. Customer service is key. Please and thanks are common courtesies especially in the service industry. I've been to a handful of bowling alleys and to be frank, this bowling alley is quite clean, spacious and and nice (considering the area it's located in). Located in Sam's Casino and Hotel, this bowling alley is on the lower left near the entrance of TGIF restaurant. As you can see from my photo, the lanes are very well maintained, provided adequate lighting and overall a clean facility. The front desk gals, particularly Cheryl, is nice and provides great customer service. I called in to inquire about pricing before I made the 20 mins drive from my side of town. Prices are reasonable @$4.50/person/game and shoe rental @$4/person. They have specials after 9p where you can get 3 games for only $6 (call Cheryl to inquire about bowling specials). I'm not sure if they offer cosmic bowling, again just give them a call. There is a full bar and small food counter located within the bowling alley. Only thing that sucks is that the food counter closes at 8p; so if you want those nachos get there by 8pm! Overall a nice spot to hang for family game night or get a group of friends to sip on some brewski pitchers for only $7. What a deal! read more

This is a fun place to go to with friends and family. The bowling Alley during cosmic night is fun. We had a problem multiple times with our pins falling by themselves and we had to go up multiple times to let them know about the pins going down by themselves. I Was not impressed with the bowling alley! With the exception of the smart screens it looked very outdated and old and needs some big time renovations! Also the snack bar has very limited days that is open, like it closed every weekday but only open on weekends LATE! I'm never going back and I would not recommend that bowling alley at all! Save your money and gas and go to a better bowling alley, there is definitely MUCH better bowling alleys in Las Vegas! The alley has plenty of lanes and is clean. It's not the most updated bowling alley in Vegas but it's close to the Strip. The bar has a few interesting beers on tap and it's only $9 for a pitcher. A cup of beer will set you back $4. Cheap drinks on a Saturday night? Me likey. Looks like the idiots that work here don't even know their own hours. We called at 9:45 pm to ask what time they close and some dumb employee said that they close at 12 am. We drove 30 minutes and arrived at 10:30 just to be told that they close at 10:15. Waste of time and gas just to come here and be forced to drive all the way back home for nothing. The lanes here are crap anyway. We only came because we thought it was the only place open at this time. Save your money and go to another bowling alley. First experience here and it was amazing. Best bowling ally I've ever been to if I'm being honest. Only because it stands out from all the other bowling allies. There's so much technology and it matches our generation. Also, the seating is way better than all of the other same old bowling allies. This one is on top of their game! Felt like a bowling ally from the future for sure. The cosmic bowling made it 10 times more fun with all the lights & neon, and honestly it was a good price for two people. Such a fun spot to come to with the whole family. This place is HUGE and clean which is always a plus. I will admit that I haven't been bowling in awhile and didn't realize shoe rental costed money. They have help for smaller kids like bumpers and the ball slide. We liked that so the little kids felt part of the game vs a gutter ball each time. Great Experience! Multiple lanes and good food. However they need more help. The lady at the food counter was alone And towards the end of my night, her line became longer. Food was amazing and well priced. I ordered Chili cheese fries and buffalo wings. Very good and made well. Our bowling package for $50 came with unlimited play for 2 hours, large pepperoni pizza and a soda pitcher. (If you purchased, you can choose between pizza & nachos) If you have small children, the screen will allow you to select for the racks to go up on their turn. Had a great time at this place. Went during a busy time and still got a lane in less than ten minutes. They have some awesome specials so you can bowl a bunch for cheap. We attended a movie at Sam's Town which gives you a free game of bowling but had to pay for shoe rental at $4 per person. Once at the lane we could not find lightweight bowling balls for my 6yo and 8yo. Went back up to the desk and they would only issue one small ball for the family to use. This made the game slow and kids antsy waiting for the ball to return each time. We set up the game so the bumpers would raise up for my two little kids and lower down for everyone else however they weren't working. Evidently you have to set up the game and then go back to the front desk to have them allow the bumpers to work. A few bowls into the game and we had a problem with the pins falling over as soon as they were set. We called for help and waited....and waited....and waited and finally had to go back to the desk. Did I mention that there were only 3 other lanes being used at this time in a place with 50+ lanes. Finally after pins falling several times and also a few other times on neighboring lanes I went to throw the ball and the gate came down. It was so loud when my bowling ball smashed the gate and then of course I had to again go up to the desk to get someone to retrieve my ball in the middle of the lane. When I questioned the lady at the front desk if this was normal for this lane or just normal for the entire bowling center her response was about refunding us. I didn't pay for the bowling so there wasn't anything to refund except the show rental. I just though it was sad that her first and only response to a question about all the problems was the refund. Overall it took us a very long time to get through just one game and we could not bowl anymore because they were getting ready to have a league bowl. read more

I used to bowl here when I lived on the East side. I would come in on Friday mornings and get a few cheap games. If you come in before noon on Fridays you can bowl for I think $0.50 per game. Not a bad deal. Especially if you aren't working much and just want to get out of the house without breaking the bank. Now that I am out of the unemployment line I don't have the time to bowl like I used to. I certainly can't go for the cheap games aon Friday anymore. But in recent weeks I have been finding myself here paying the $3.00 per game regular weekend fee. I am in preparation for the 30th annual Las Vegas Corporate Challenege for which I am a team captain. Our team of 5 gets together for practice here at Sam's Town as this is where the tournament will be held. Sam's Town Bowling is a great place for a tournament as well as just general bowling. It is a clean facility with well maintained lanes. There are I think 56 lanes available so there is lots of space. I've never had an issue getting in though if there happens to be league play or a tournament going on, it could get crowded. read more

It was my first time going out to bowl and Sam's Town Bowling was the best place for me to start. My parents and I went to the midnight bowling for $1! Plus $3.75 for shoe rentals of course. For the three of us + 3 games + 3 shoe rentals came out to $20.25, which is a great deal. Not to mention, the staff there was nice and willing to help. There were about 48 lanes (I could be wrong) and each one was clean, situated with 3-6 chairs, and a screen for entering player names/scores. Unfortunately, because of the time we came, the snack bar was closed so I didn't get to try the food! Next time :) Since I will definitely be back. I lost 2/3 games so I'll have to come back to practice. read more

Pretty dang busy all the time. The people at the counter are decent, it's weird that you have to give them one of your shoes in order to rent the bowling shoes. It's fun to watch what I assume are regulars, who actually know how to bowl, lol. The normal prices are a bit steep in my opinion but they have a lot of deals. The food is really overpriced, especially the drinks. The people at the food counter were a bit rude. The "regular" size drink is smaller than a small at McDonalds and they don't do refills. We ordered nachos and they were okay. The bowling is nice, everything seems clean and the screens all work. There's lots of lanes and although it gets pretty cramped if someone is right next to you, that's what bowling is all about right? The ladies that work there yell over the intercom about kids playing on the escalator and whenever they catch someone smoking inside, but oddly I never heard them say anything about the numerous people I saw that were barefoot while bowling. Pretty decent place to go for dollar bowling. Monday-Thursday after midnight, shoes and games are $1. There typically isn't a wait for lanes and there are plenty of balls available. Sometimes I have to hunt down a 10 lb ball, but I always find one eventually. The snack bar isn't open at midnight, but you can go upstairs to the cafe and bring back some food and a pitcher of beer (just make sure to bring the pitcher back). read more

I've been to Sam's Town twice, and many of the Boyd properties bowling alleys, and I must say this is the best bowling alley I've bowled at so far (although Red Rock does look better). The lanes were very clean and the snack bar gave nice portions for the price and was located right by the front desk so you don't have to take a road trip to get there. The cosmic bowling was neat, except for there is really no light on the approach so picking up spares was harder than normal. The only other issue we had was customer service, we had a group of 4 lanes and we wanted to split them into teams. However they weren't clear on how many people we could put per lane, so in the middle of our first game the lane shut off and we had to have the front desk transfer credits. This wouldn't have been an issue, but the way the two woman handled it was unprofessional, they were throwing their co-worker under the bus for ringing things up wrong. Granted next time I'll know to ask so we don't run into this again, but I felt bad for the poor woman they were bad-mouthing. read more
