They set an appointment and then don't have the decency or respect to call that they won't show up. Two hours after they said they'd be here, I called to check on the status of the appointment they scheduled, and the female who answered said she was on the other line and would call back..... but didn't. I tried calling back two hours later and it went straight to voice mail.​ Clearly, their customer's time is unimportant to them, and this is a major red flag in their overall service. Work Sloppily Done I read the reviews which is why I called Sunset Qcs. The lady who answered the phone was professional and was able to give me the estimate on the phone. The estimate was based on basic steam cleaning of all rooms in the house plus deep cleaning which cost extra, since the carpet had not been cleaned in a few years and we had a small dog (chihuahua) in the back part of the house. I made it clear to the two guys that did the work that the two back rooms were the most important. The older guy was for sure more thorough as he used the deep cleaning chemical liberally in the front part of the house, although he did not use the broom to spread it as other carpet cleaners have done in my years of using cleaners. This was my first time using Sunset Qcs. But the younger guy was very lax about his duties. In the back rooms, which were the most important, he did squirt the deep cleaning chemical in a couple spots and left it at that. He did pick up the whisking broom also but just tapped it along the floor in a couple places and left it at that. Then proceeded to use the basic steam cleaner. I watched both of them the whole time so know what was done. It's now been 2 days, and there are still stains on the carpet and the two back rooms, which were in the most need of the deep cleaning, which we paid extra for, smell almost as bad as they did before the cleaning. It may have been that they had LOTS of work that day or just weren't up to working so hard. But the bottom line is that we paid in full but did not receive the work promised for the price paid. Now we need to call another carpet cleaner and will hopefully get the job done right this time. We were pretty surprised they did the job that they did with the reviews they have here. We don't know. But when you pay for a service, you expect to get what was promised, at least. I really do not make a habit of posting bad reviews and typically just stop using the company but this time I felt I had to. read more
