We came here for dinner on a Wednesday night. We were seated outside and the view was very nice. The menu is diverse and should have something for just about everyone. The four of us at my table got the Buffalo chicken flatbread, the boom boom tacos, the chicken finger dinner and I got the wedge salad and the chicken and rice soup. Our server was friendly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Everyone enjoyed their food and from my viewpoint, it looked good. My wedge salad looked good from when it was sat down but as I cut it up I realized it had way too much dressing. After getting it all cut up it more resembled soup. I would get the wedge again but I would request the dressing on the side so I could control the amount. All in all good experience. Will be back for certain. read more

Unfortunately there was a hair in my son's food. Waitress didn't apologize, brought us another dish. We all were done eating by the time new dish came out. No compensation on anything (ie soda, appetizer). Paid Full price and no gift card for the inconvenience. This place needs to work on management skills and having cooks wear proper wear in the kitchen. read more

Delicious food! Would recommend this establishment to anybody looking for a quick bite to eat. Nothing but good things to say about it

Good place. Nice menu, but very crowded call for reservations that's all folks, don't have 85 characters to finish

Good lakeside restaurant serving good American fare. Views awesome from outside or in. Service outstanding. Bonus great docks and help to tie the boat off. Best place on the chain read more

Good. Water view. Great popcorn. Food Good. Fun Place. Went Father's Day, maybe bad idea. They were busy. But. But. They knew kitchen was backed up. They said well seat you when we can serve you. Honestly this was worth the wait. Good joint Bill. We'll come back. read more

Food was decent; nicer than usual selection compared to other lakeside restaurants. The waitlist system is terrible. We waited over an hour and watched us not progress on the waitlist. Went inside and asked how much longer when we could see empty tables. The younger hostess seemed clueless but another said she could seat us right away. Enjoyed Ahi tuna tacos and fish tacos.. rice was meh. It is VERY loud inside the restaurant. Forget about conversation. Our server was very nice and attentive. We've passed by many times on our boat but this was our first time dining. Would we go back?... possibly... read more

Great place with a great view. I had the Buffalo chicken wrap and it was delicious. The server was friendly and very helpful. Plus, they give you a bowl of popcorn when you sit down, you can't beat that! I highly recommend. read more

The ahí appetizer was amazing so I ordered the ahi tacos and they were also delicious.

Badass view I love it bar perfect spot for chill boating thumb up 10/10 excellent let's party

this restaurant is a MUST to visit! The view and atmosphere are incredible. The food and drinks are even better. I couldnt recommend this place enough! from their pulled pork to the chopped salad or the prime rib sandwich- you can't go wrong! The service is always great as I've visited this place 5 times and its always a great experience all around! read more

This place has the best food on the water service was fast and there were great views

Great dinner and gorgeous view on one of the first Fall Nights of 2022! We visited here once in July and the air conditioning wasn't working on a 90+ degree day. Uncomfortable, and condensation from drinks everywhere. Too hot to be enjoyable - Anyway - glad we tried Sunset Grill again. Yes - the service is great and yes - so are the drinks, dinners and appetizers. read more

Great food, great service, and awesome holiday decorations. We will definitely make this spot a regular stop moving forward. Try the smoked wings. You won't regret it! read more

The staff is very nice. If docking a boat, they have someone on the dock to help tie up the boat-a great convenience. They have live music which is also very nice. The Bloody Mary was good. The food is marginal earning the 2 stars. The Mediterranean flat bread is just that...flat. Essentially cheese bread with olives. The Mediterranean skewer is ridiculously overpriced-there are 2 pieces of chicken, 2 pieces of steak and 2 shrimp with peppers and onions for $27!!! They give you rice and a cup of soup or side salad. The skewer is also underwhelming- no seasoning at all. The rice is just rice. The ranch dressing on the salad was good. We ate here last year and loved it- not sure what happened. read more

Food is always good! Service can sometimes be a little slow, but the servers are always so nice and work their butts off! Owners are friendly. Music on the patio is always good, too. read more

A great local family joint with better than average food! Popcorn at the bar and fast bar service, the menu is good, as well! The outside bar is great and it is lakeside! The only downside is it is NOISY INSIDE on the weekends, especially! It just is- accept it! read more

Let me start by saying the food at Sunset is good and deserves a four star review. Unfortunately the crammed in tables and the service problems makes it fall down hard. Outside the tables are literally packed in so tight people can't get up from their seats without hitting other people's chairs and servers literally can't get through. It's hard to enjoy a meal when you are like sardines in a can. The other issue is the restaurant is way understaffed (which in today's COVID times is understandable) but the management should NOT seat customers they can't serve. We were seated thirty minutes before a waitress came to take our drink order (and that was after I asked for a server). They need to cut the tables by 1/3rd outside or expand the terrace (which would make a lot of sense and would be incredibly easy to do). Unfortunately our bad experience means we won't be going back. read more

Super fun time this afternoon. Had drinks at the outdoor bar. Gina behind the bar was fun to talk to. Excellent service, great view and super duper "bloody" Will come back read more

Saw the good reviews and thought we'd give it a try. This place is somewhat hidden off grass lake road on bluff lake. It's a family type restaurant with a full bar. I was a bit skeptical at first. They seated us in the main room that overlooked the lake which was nice. Being a Saturday evening, with great summer weather the boating area was very busy. The restaurant was also filling up with boaters for the dinner hour. My husband ordered the salmon. It looked great. It was a nice thick piece topped with a lemony spinach and capers sauce over rice pilaf. He thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the brisket which I had ask for in a wrap instead of the sandwich or toco options. They happily accommodated my request. It was also delicious and came with a huge baked potato. We will likely be back but probably not on a weekend night. The noise level was the only negative for us. Very loud and difficult to hear each other. read more

Food is excellent from Wood smoke wings to Ahi Tuna Salad and Tacos not to mention friendly service, live music and a great sunset!

I'm over that top excited this place is the sister restaurant to The Grove and on the water! We're huge fans of the food at the Grove and now to take our boat to Sunset Grill- wow! The food is yummy and views are stunning! We'll certain to be coming here by boat more often now. The service can be a little slower and we understand. We enjoyed sitting out by the Tiki bar. Looking forward to our return! read more

A very romantic place to have a date. The food is excellent. The service is excellent and I really like the ambience.

We had a really weird experience. We sat down and sat for a while and then three different people (none of whom gave the impression they were waiters) came up and frantically asked if we had been helped. We ordered some waters and waited to put in our food order. When we got the water the person who brought them (wearing a headset, seemed like a manager) said that the "water has been tasting funny" so she "threw in some lemon wedges". Why would you say that? The water did taste bad. It made us all very disgusted and we did not want to eat at a place that washed their dishes and cooked their food in water that "tasted funny". Also why add lemon? It was uncomfortable and weird. Don't recommend. read more

We eat here frequently. Food and service is consistently exceptional. Great view of the lake and the tiki bay in the summer is amazing.

Good food, fun atmosphere, and friendly staff! We have been here many times and will be there many more!

Awesome meal every time! I highly recommend everyone tries this place. The servers are friendly and efficient too!

This place has amazing cheese curds! Everything was really great. Our server, Natasha, was very helpful in deciding what to order and super sweet the whole night. 10/10 read more

Wow! An amazing menu and staff. We went by boat prepared for a wait but they exceeded expectations. The tacos, Cuban sandwich, and the steak trio were all amazing. Drinks were great and the service was probably the best I have seen during Covid or before! This place hit a home run with me! read more

I got a cheese burger and it was so delicious! The bun was buttery and baked, and my patty was seasoned perfectly. Definitely coming back soon. read more

So glad to see this Bluff lake lakefront location thriving! Not fine dining but the food was very good! Bbq chicken flatbread pizza and bbq chicken wrap- my husband and I would have both again! My only complaints though are that it's very loud in the restaurant (no sound absorption) and the a/c doesn't work well so it was sweltering in there. The poor staff had sweat dripping from their foreheads. The outdoor tiki bar is nice though with live music. This spot has great potential but they just need to work on those 2 issues and they'll have a real gem. Who doesn't love a lakefront restaurant with good food? read more
