I'm a first time customer and will definitely be returning. After boating all day long, I was starving. I'm new to Antioch and unfamiliar with the area. My friend's suggested we dock the boat and head to your restaurant. It was nice having two options of indoor, or outdoor seating, with a shaded area. We chose to eat indoors. It was Saturday so the special was Prime Rib. I decided to order it, even though I knew it would be too much food for one person. I ordered it medium rare. It was served on top of mashed potatoes and wonderful candied carrots. I had both raw, and creamy horseradish. The meal also had a side option of soup or salad. I had a beautiful mixed greens salad accompanied by onions, tomatoes and cucumbers with Italian dressing. Everything here is made to order, fresh and from scratch. I was so impressed that this restaurant was located local to where I live. I am looking forward to returning again with my husband. The restaurant was clean, the service was great, our table was checked on often. This was a perfect ending to a wonderful day. Thank you for a wonderful experience. read more

I like Kraby J's - a lot! My wife and I stopped in here for our inaugural visit on Sunday April 26, 2026. The restaurant sits on the water and has a nautical theme. It is an attractive space with lots of varnished wood. We were here late morning and there was a decent crowed. I had a stack of pancakes and my wife had a Scrambler. My pancakes were very good, and her Scrambler was great. I love the smashed potatoes at the bottom of the bowl. Prices are reasonable and service is very friendly. The patrons are all very nice. I bumped into a buddy there, and some woman gave my wife a homemade cookie that was delicious! Can't wait for our next visit! read more

The food was very good, large portions and the price was right. Their beer cheese pretzel burger was to die for. Highly recommended!

Food was amazing. And Great patio atmosphere. My score is based purely on the poor service.

Would love to give a food review, but after we were sat and ordered our food quickly because we realized they were busy but we never received our food. Tables that were sat after us (perhaps regulars or friends) had their food and we were totally ignored. Best offer was part of our order "to go" and full price for our drinks. just told sorry and sent along our way. Maybe new customers aren't needed. New to the area and hope we can find a local place that doesn't use a busy night for an excuse for bad service. read more

A casual local hangout. Food was excellent. Service staff was very nice considering how busy it was when we arrived. A bit of a wait for food due to how packed the restaurant was but the food tasted great so it was worth the wait. read more

Is the second time I've been here and it's super awesome. First time I came was on a Friday night and we ate the unlimited fish fry, which is absolutely excellent and the first time I've ever had a fish fry, also ate the crispy Seabass, which was amazing, the advertisements are all super fire, and the service is the best. I just met the owner and the owner's father, super awesome people, the kind of restaurant and person you want to support. Definitely come here and try their awesome food which definitely includes the pizza which was graciously provided by Kyle and his dad. Will definitely come again next time I'm back in the Midwest so get your butt here and try their food, leave a fat tit and leave an awesome review. read more

Fun place to eat on the patio on a nice day. Had a burger and shrimp po boy along with the cheese curds. All were very good! Only issue was the food took a long time to come out, but that gave us more time to enjoy the yummy drinks. read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Went in there after a long hot week, was hoping to get some carry out for dinner. I walked in behind a group of people, they were seated right away. I waited for about a minute before a guy walked up and I said I wanted to order carry out. He responded saying "we're not doing g carry out on 4th of July weekend". I responded "ahhh, Really?" "Even right now?" Being not even 5pm on a Friday. I don't woke in a restaurant and don't know what they consider "the weekend". I go to walk out the door and he gives me a smug ass response "buy the building and you can make the calls" then before I turn around on the steps to reply he runs into the kitchen. So I go back up the stairs and wait till I see him Again. He walks out a different door goes around the back of the restaurant, does something at a table then starts walking in my direction and I asked him "What did you say to me?". Where he then says again "I said buy the building and you can make the calls". I said "I asked you a simple question and you give me a smug ass response for no reason". Then he says "he's just giving it like I gave it". Lmfaoooo..... total joke right?! I gave the guy absolutely zero attitude. The funniest thing is after looking up the restaurant it's one of the owners. Total shit thing to say to someone that's trying to actually support your business. Clean up your shitty attitude. The ability to be a decent person isn't difficult. The response he could have used that made me come Back to this place could have been as simple as a "sorry man" "sorry about that" "apologies on that". But you choose to be a mouthy little asshole. 0/5 stars Attached is a picture of the chubby little troll read more

Great lunch special menu M-F for $10! Wide variety of fun drinks. Very helpful wait staff. HUGE wraps! Grilled chicken was delish. Fun to drive up in a boat. read more

Found and service - service was not good - lunch during the week - not crowded - waited for service after being seated - waited for food and went to bar to find out where the food was after 30 minutes. Told the kitchen hot "slammed" however no one there? Person no took our order disappeared and was also the bartender. Not a good experience at all read more

Look in for a place to have lunch on the water. It was really a algae covered inlet but still enjoyed it. We were early and they seemed happy about the. By the time we were done the place was full. The food is from a scratch kitchen, we had a mezcal mango margaritta and a regular margaritta both were good. First we had the fried chicken cob salad wrap with blue cheese. Was tasty but more salad like. Secondly, I had the smash burger. The pimento cheese was suggested so I did. Was delicious, just what I hoped for. Service was speedy, seemed like it could be crowded and slow down. Was a boater stop, they had pier access. Over all we liked it and would probably go back. read more

Great place to eat food is great, but their dressings are not! We had ranch with cheese curds, everyone like curds but hated ranch. I had cobb salad which was good, but 1000 island dressing was horrible. They need different vender for dressings. read more

First time at this place. First the person seating you was rude. Second my husband's dinner never came out. Waitress went to look for it and they haven't even started it third worst espresso martini I ever had.........stick with what you know. Very disappointing. read more

We sat on the deck, for a nice little lunch date. The gentleman who served us was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. The service was quick (we were the first to arrive for the lunch rush). My husband had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and I had the Chicken Ceasar Wrap, both with Garlic Parmesan Fries. Delicious. Absolutely wonderful. Those fries are addicting. Aside from the overall building and deck needing a little sprucing up, I would have given a 5 star. read more

Great food cooked from scratch loved the walleye dinner. They have the best green beans and roasted carrots too. My fav drink is the red sangria! read more

they don't seem to like a senior citizens clientele. We didn't stay around to test the food because we got the KRABBY treatment. Luckily you got a hold of the rest of our party and all met in a wonderful Mexican restaurant just down the road right on the main road wonderful food nice people I would suggest Mexican not KRABBY. Next time. read more

Steve our server was absolutely amazing knowing the menu and drinks. This place is a hidden gem. Can't believe I have not seen this place on passing it on grass lake. Food was dead on perfect. The expresso Martini was made to perfection but if your having a rough day try the (The Pain Killer) after talking with the owner it explains why everything was so dead on perfect. Well experienced in high end restaurants. read more

We love Kraby J's. In the summer we head over on the boat and car in the cold months. Definitely try their cheesecake. The best! The food is delicious and we love their special drink, Pain Killer. Yum! Thank you Desiree (bartender) for being awesome. Always great service read more

Amazing service from the owner. They had some pulled pork BBQ special that was the best. Everything they make is fresh and home cooked. This is a must stop on the chain. Nice service and fresh food. Not bar food. read more

Service was awful. No one smiled or welcomed us. We sat down they said we're busy your foods going to take a while to come out. Ok fine, not the warmest welcome but thanks for being upfront. Then we got the all you can eat fish fry. When we asked for more fish they were so annoyed. One girl made a comment "another one?!?" Like we were bothering her by ordering what we paid for. When my boyfriend asked for more a second time the server said is there something wrong with the one on your plate? There was nothing on his plate just one on my plate I was still working on. There are so many options around us, we will go to Docker's or Rusty Nail next time. Not spending our money to be treated like we are bothering you to do your job. read more

The food and service need some help here. I ordered the seabass with risotto and green beans. The waiter forgot part of my drink order (which I let go). My main issue is with the food. The seabass was okay, but the risotto and green beans didn't have real butter, the restaurant cut corners and gave me some type of nasty soybean oil margarine which made me feel sick afterwards. Seed oils are a hard no for me. read more

When the place first opened it was better. The owner was more friendly and engaging. The food was larger serving sizes too. It seems they have made some subtle portion controls. The food is still pretty tasty, but the last two times I ate there my order was screwed up. The atmosphere is warm and northwoods cabin like. They have an awesome fireplace in the dinning area, and if you get there at the right time it's very warm and nice to sit near the fireplace on crisp fall weekend mornings for breakfast. read more

Great food and friendly service. It is apparent this is a family friendly welcoming place. They had a fire burning, games available to play and a variety of seating options from bar seats to high tops to regular tables. read more

I have to say the food you can tell is made from scratch and they are very friendly here. Our first time here was today and I was a little skeptical because people who look like me tend to be treated differently.. They were friendly from the start and very informative. Fantastic customer service with fantatsic food is a win win. The country fried steak was cooked med rare. I have never had the pleaseure of having it this way normally it is way overcooked and the sausage gravy fantistic. The potato spinach sald was great with poek belly spread throughout it. Awesome place awesome people awesome experience. read more

What a little gem! You'd never guess it but this place was so accommodating to my vegetarian gluten free diet! The staff was SO nice and its clean. Great from scratch cooking! Everything always delicious and hot and the drinks are great! A great go to place for couples or families.

Krabys is amazing! All of their food is made from scratch and is fresh, including all of their sauces and dressings. Their cocktails are made delicious! B/c they are a scratch kitchen, when it is fully sat it may take longer for food to get to you but it is worth the wait! We had the seabass entree and the Ruben sandwhich. Both were amazing! The seabass was crispy on the outside, but like butter on the inside and the mushroom risotto was great. The corner beef on the Ruben was shaved from the corned beef they make in house, definitely better than anything else in the area! The owners told us they do not own the building and cannot make many changes due to the landlord. The building seems to have been there a long time, they are doing such a great job for the space they have! read more

We just dined at Kraby J's since the new owners turned over early November 2023. The last time we visited the restaurant was teal full of ocean type decor. When we visited today, the owners finally understand the area, it was a retro cabin like feel. I felt cozy dining there as I should with a lake side Restaurant. One of the owners, Kyle, greeted us and introduced himself to us as we came in. Let me start with the food--WOW. We have dined around the area and I can say the food was the best food we have had. We ordered a pizza for us and the kids--it was thin and crispy with a caramelized cheese crust- to add they were not light on the toppings. I ordered a Cobb salad that had real thick cut bacon and grilled chicken, it was enough to fill me and will be my go-to salad. My husband got a spicy chicken sandwich that was stacked high and a wonderful presentation with the knife. It's nice to finally have good food in the area! My husband got the peach bourbon drink and I had a Paloma and they were fantastic--finally drinks you want with dinner! We came with our two toddlers (1.5 and 3.5) for an early dinner-- which we always prepare ourselves for battle. And the waitstaff and owners were fantastic. They even had games for our kids once the kids were no longer interested in the toys we brought. The chef, and co-owner, even came out of the kitchen to thank us for coming and it was wonderful to be able to compliment him on his food. I can honestly say I don't think there is a restaurant as good as this. We can't wait to come back next weekend read more

The food was amazing the music was great. I had the short Ribs the meat melted in your mouth the spinach was sautéed perfect touch of garlic our waiter was on the top of things if we needed another drink of course I needed another cup of fresh Blue Cheese dressing they make it hear. The desert was to die for we all shared banana foster and homemade cheesecake made by his mother.. Don't have a dog sitter you can bring your dog. Customers were dancing having a good time. Down to earth people let your hair down. No need to dress up come as you are. I really enjoyed the harmonica' player.Have some fun come to Krabby J's. read more

New owners! Dined in on 12/10 for dinner and the food was great. My family ordered the chicken sandwich and smash burger, and everyone was very happy. I had the pizza which was hard to stop eating! It has a thin crispy crust that's unique to Kraby J's. Another highlight is the homemade ranch, it's delicious. We sat by the fireplace making for a very cozy winter vibe. Improvements have been made to the interior taking it from tiki to a lake cabin theme. Highly recommend checking out Kraby Js under the new ownership! read more

Went for breakfast the food is so good. It's not a huge place but it doesn't seem cramped, they have a fireplace and a warm cozy atmosphere. The service was good, the server was pleasant, and my order was exactly what I wanted. It's the second time I've been there and the last time was in the summer and they have a deck looking over the water. And they have a decent size parking lot. read more

When one bartender motions to the other that the drink was short poured - think cocktail glass and drink level 1/2 inch below rim - and nothing done about it even though I said something out loud about being short, that's a sign it's all about $$ here. Out of five staff members we observed, only one smiled or interacted socially with guess the Krabby name fits! Nice people sitting at the bar though. Watched one guy wait 15 min for refill on fish fry. That was enough for us to go elsewhere for dinner and I suggest you do the same. read more

Great, scratch made food. Went for breakfast, would like to try dinner. Nice atmosphere, nice people! Will be back.

The food is good. The service was good. We did receive our food before our salads came out. When management came over we let them know. It was not a big deal but thought we would say something since they asked. She then brought this young person with her and he apologized to us for it. We didn't want an apology we just wanted to make them aware of what happened. She proceeded to argue with my husband and under her breath as she was walking away said we didn't need to come back which was a little surprising because we had been here numerous times before. We felt bad for the kid that came out and felt he was forced to apologize. The young man then came to our table with a fee desert which we didn't need nor want. We still felt bad for this young kid because we wanted to make sure he didn't have to pay for our desert and all he would say is it was on him. My husband also spoke with the owner who stood by who we believe is his mom in the handling of the situation . There are too many places on the chain with good and good service and I would tell all my friends and friends to go somewhere other than KRABBY J's. Which is unfortunate because we have enjoyed them on many previous occasions. So much for an enjoyable meal. read more
