The master bedroom has a comfortable, king-sized bed, plenty of dresser and closet space, a gas fire place, a wet bar, extra large screen HD TV, vaulted ceilings, and sliding glass and screen doors on both sides of the room, leading out to a gazebo on one side and an 8 person hot tub on the other. The other bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed and tasteful decor, with plenty of closet and drawer space. The dining room table comfortably seats 8 to 10 and the living room is warm and cozy, featuring another huge HD TV and gas fireplace. There is a washing machine and dryer and the stairs lead up to a loft which can comfortably sleep 4 to 6 kids. There's plenty of room for them to play, as well as, view videos. From the loft is a pathway leading to a lovely outdoor viewing area! You simply cannot beat the views of the Smoky Mountains from any side of this house! Our Aunt stayed in one of the two adjoining apartment units and she not only raved about the fact that she too had a washer and dryer, but that she also had a gas fireplace, large flatscreen TV, adjoining door to our unit (which can be used optionally) -AND- that her view was also astonishing. There are many places to sightsee and enjoy river views, most notably hiking short to moderate length distances to see local waterfalls. And know this - though I'm sure you'll come with the plan to unplug or at least use electronic devices less frequently than usual, the guest wi-fi works great, even in these mountains, and the TVs feature many viewing options. The cabin property had spacious trailer parking out of the way of the cabins and also has covered motorcycle parking which was great to have. We wish we could buy one for ourselves lol. The views aren't substantial, but the location was prime for reaching all of our destinations easily. This layout and floor plan easily accommodated all of us comfortably. If you are worried about space, don't even sweat it. I bet it could fit double with zero issues. All the amenities worked and Jeanette is so timely in responses and getting our needs met. There is something for everyone, seriously. The only bad thing you could possibly say is that the roads to get into the cabins is a bit confusing and a bit technical to drive with a full size truck and trailer. However, once you're in, you just hate to leave. I found at the end of every long day of riding, I was so happy to get to come home to Wildflower cabin #1 as my home. Good luck reaching any staff while you're there. Though the area is pretty, you will definitely not get what you paid for!!

Also want to say that we have our own vacation rental in the Outer Banks and are very aware of some of the issues that come up while guests are in the house. Therefore we try to handle any where we rent with the same respect and care that we hope someone does to our place. Unfortunately this Cabin started out bad from the beginning. When we got there and opened up the place there was a distinct smell. So we thought-ok its been closed up for awhile lets get doors and windows open get air flow in. My husband does Commercial HVAC so he said-let me check the AC units. Everyone one of them was full of black mold. So bad in fact we headed back down the mountain and bought cleaning supplies. He spent the first four hours of vacation cleaning them out. Then there was the dried dog feces upstairs the mouse feces in the dishes the DVD player which doesn't work the VHS tapes everywhere with no VCR and finally the Directv which doesn't work either. Oh and one more thing-the shower upstairs leaks into the Master Bedroom downstairs and the downstairs bathroom is full of mold on the ceiling as well. That was two more things. Anyway I placed a call to Yellow Rose the next day and let them know the situation. Explained to them everything-black mold, leakage, turds, TV, turds, etc etc..They asked if we wanted a plumber and said they would send out a tech for the AC. She also said she was going to text or email me when someone was coming out. And stated she would talk to her manager about a credit. Never got a text never got an email-we had already done most of the cleanup so not sure if anyone ever came out as we weren't at the Cabin a good bit of the time. When we first got there we realized that the floors were so dirty we had to wash our feet again before going to bed. Then the toilet would not flush and fill back up for a while and it leaked at the bottom so much we had to put a towel around it. Then we washed our clothes and it leaked around bottom of washer. The closet in bedroom was full of junk and no hangers so had to leave clothes in chest of drawers. There was an extra chiffrobe but it was locked. We called the office and they sent someone out to fix toilet but they didn't. The faucets in sink and tub had dripped until both looked so nasty from iron residue that before I would bathe in tub we bought cleaner and scrub pad and cleaned them both. Even after telling person at office all of this he didn't apologize nor offer any type of refund or discount. Needless to say, we won't use this company again! Such a shame it was a cute little cabin and being right beside the stream it would have been super if all these things had been checked out before we ever got there!

We stayed in the Honeymoon Deluxe for a much needed getaway. It was perfect! We would not…read morehesitate to stay again. We were only there for a weekend, so we didn't use the kitchen, dvd player, etc. But, we did use the hot tub! Nights and mornings were in the 50's and breezy (aka cold wind!) and the hot tub was great for both morning and night. The creek running past is calming and drowns out any sounds from town. The convenience of the location with the privacy, make this cabin perfect. As others have commented on their website, the cleanliness was amazing! The hot tub was already hot when we showed up and there was a treat in the fridge, yummy! The drive to Cherokee is easy, and passes by Bearmeats Indian Den, one of the few shops with real hand crafted goods. Be sure to stop by there. The furniture was comfortable. Furniture and décor is typical styling for a rental cabin, but in much better shape than many I have seen. The pictures are true to what is there. I slept so soundly in the bed, I didn't even wake during the rainstorm. The kitchen, although we didn't use it, was well stocked with pots, pans, etc. needed for cooking. Plenty of silverware, plates, cups, and mugs for 2-4 people. Washer and drier were great to have available. We used the dryer and it worked fine. We did not use the grill, but there is one available. There is one flaw, and that is the shower. It is small. My husband is 6' and ~170lbs and it was tight. The shower served its purpose, but if you are larger, consider one of their other cabins. This shower would not deter us from coming again, we absolutely would! I just want to include that so others can pick which cabin is perfect for them. Madeline clearly takes pride in her cabins and will gladly help you pick out the right one. When I called, I had it narrowed down to 2 and she told me more about each. She wanted to make sure we loved it as much as she does.
