It was equipped with a very nice fire pit and a large stack of firewood included in the price. One staff member led us to our site in a golf cart, and another was already there to guide me while backing in. I have never before had this level of parking assistance! One of our slides jammed when we tried to extend it. The owner and two or three of his staff spent at least an hour trying to help us. We didn't have any luck, but the staff recommended a local mobile RV repair guy who was on site in about an hour and solved the problem. The park's cable TV service is head and shoulders above anything else we have ever seen. The area is full of natural beauty, and there are many places to get delicious food within a five to ten minute drive. Need groceries? Publix, Ingles, and Food Lion are just 15 minutes away, and Walmart about 20 minutes. Cross Creek RV Park is a great example of Western North Carolina hospitality at it's finest!

I believe the owner of this site also owned the five log cabins down the street. The bath house was very pleasantly clean. Five toilet stalls and four showers in the ladies room, I'm ASSUMING the same for the men's. Outside the building there is an available microwave and outdoor sink and electrical plug. There is also a net setup for volleyball and a covered seating area with tables and a TV. Only thing you need to be aware of is phone service. It goes in and out... wifi is super iffy.

From check-in to checkout, The Terrace demonstrated an astonishing disregard for its paying guests. A college football team that reportedly made reservations just one day before our arrival was clearly given priority over everyone else. Guests were left waiting well into the evening for rooms to be ready, with little communication or concern from staff. The restaurant refused reservations because, once again, the football team took precedence, forcing other guests to leave the property to find dinner elsewhere. Apparently, some paying guests matter more than others. Breakfast was another complete failure. A hot breakfast was supposed to be included, yet this morning there was not even COFFEE or EGGS prepared for guests. The lack of staffing, organization, and basic hospitality was astounding. To make matters worse, our room was not properly cleaned, and liquid was leaking from the toilet onto the bathroom floor. The apparent neglect of cleanliness and maintenance was unacceptable. Perhaps most appalling was the complete absence of management. Not a single manager was on the premises to address the mounting complaints or take responsibility. The frustration and disappointment among guests were palpable. We were so disgusted by the experience that we decided to leave..

It is only 7-8…read moremiles from US-19/74, and there is a nicely stocked convenience store about 5 miles away on US28. It is a dry county, so bring your own booze! We took the area in the back where we were the only ones...it is tucked away from the semi-permanent RVs in the front, and has its own toilet. There are some fire pits and we made a fire every evening and again when we woke up. Nice to sit by the fire and warm ourselves given the 45F lows when we were there. Overall a nice campground, with a friendly and helpful owner. He brought us firewood, and even some ice from his home. The bath house was easily the cleanest I have seen anywhere! I will stay here again!

They played in the creek and enjoyed themselves a lot. We booked sites 13-15 and 18 with water and electricity. Private property owned by a couple who lives on premise. Staff extremely friendly and campground/bathhouse extremely clean. The staff are constantly cleaning and roaming in their carts to ensure the campers have a good experience. Laundromat onsite if you have an extended stay. It has 2 washers and 2 dryers. Convenience store at the entrance. We picked up lots of ice, firewoods and sweatshirts here. Help our local businesses! Cleaning station for those who go fishing. Certain cell phone service carriers worked but it was nice being away from civilization for a week without working devices. Back to cave man's days...loved it. Thank you to the staff at Indian Creek Campground for a wonderful experience. You guys were superstars! Keep up the good work.

I had a 40th birthday celebration here. We made reservations a year in advance and informed the…read moreowners that we would be celebrating there. We rented 6 sites close to each other and informed all our neighbors we would be celebrating that weekend. All neighbors had no problems with my group except the owners of the establishment. We have been going there for years now and did not expect the owners to have such a problem with us. We were told to be quiet two ours before quiet time each night while our neighboring campers had not heard us. We feel we were targeting for no reason. Would never go there again even though we have been going for years prior. A friend of mine posted a review and the owner deleted it. The owner doesn't like people and should not be working this business. If I could do a negative 5 review I would!!!!!!! Never again
