This is fairly new but they have a sister restaurant in Stratford on Downie Street. My mother and I shared the pork schnitzel and a salad to share. My son got some kind of spicy chicken sandwich and my granddaughter got chicken tenders and fries. The food was good, better than most pub fare but not exceptional. The schnitzel needed more sauerkraut and onions but it was definitely tasty. The service was fantastic. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we felt like everyone was happy to see us.

Get rid of Steve…read more The unprecedented level of stupidity at this restaurant is beyond my words tonight We were seated at a bench by Steve. We had made reservations to dine inside and were told I've got two weddings parties and it's the best I can do .....why is this my problem? We were dipping wet from a thunderstorm which was probably the real real reason STEVE decided this was the best he could do We we're literally dipping and asked for a towel to dry ourselves At this point the pompous and arrogant attitude from Steve peaked as he produced a cloth and instructed my wife to wipe herself off first then maybe your husband band can wipe himself I struggle to maintain my reactions but there will be plenty Please stay tuned

Also...i did not feel well for the rest of the day after eating it. SOOOO disappointed.

We ordered a flight and sat down at a picnic table with a crokinole board on it. We finished the flight quickly, as every single beer was excellent in it. Have you ever had a flight where you liked every single one? Of course you haven't. That's impossible. But every beer was distinct and great. We made our choices and ordered our favourites in pint form, then in tallboy and giant can form for home. We had the greatest time and I'm going to spend the whole summer lobbying my local bars to start carrying the brand.

There is an outside patio, and a large open interior space - definitely a bit of a biergarden feel to it. You go to the bar to order your food and drinks, and tell the server where you are sitting. They then bring the food out to you. Let's talk about the food! More specifically, let's talk about the poutine! I'm not Canadian, but I have had poutine before - and theirs might be the best I have ever had. The gravy was amazing, you could tell they add beer when they are making it. I also tried their regular cheeseburger - cooked perfectly, juicy, and delicious. If I hadn't had the poutine, I'd give it high marks for the burger alone. Don't sleep on this place, it's great. Now, I don't consume alcohol, so I can't comment on the quality of their beer - but my work colleague said it was very good. I did try their vanilla soda - and it was really good. High marks all around!
