After spending at least an hour reviewing, he advised me to go with another professional that he highly recommende due to their expertise specific to my system. Yandry was extremely professional and courteous ( I might add, they both wore shoe covers). Upon completion, I inquired as to what I owed them, whereas Yandry simply said, " Nothing." The Tech that came out did do some work for me did a good job. Very polite and not pushy. Were the Pic's he should me my AC-Unit??? Now I am not sure. I asked if they could use my parts another company removed which were my UV-Lites. I was told possible but would get back to me with a price. Maybe like $300-$400 / not cheap. I never hear back from the Tech. They do charge $75 just to come out and $120 an Hour for any work. Was told these are competitive prices. If they could not use my old connections, then call and give me a Price of what you would install. Instead they just ignored me and I'm letting others know how you might be treated by Mercury Air.

They lived up to their great reviews, from the initial contact phone call all the way to the conclusion of the installation of my new unit. Derek, the estimate technician who arrived at my home on April 23rd, was knowledgeable and addressed my questions and offered options. He was at my home for over two hours! He offered me several options, without pressuring me, simply explaining the benefits of each option. His willingness to explore my request to remove current water outflow pipe that had been on the garage floor for decades, presenting a safety risk, and route it another way outside was taken seriously and creatively. He took me through the plan and I was so pleased. The technicians who arrived the next day to do the install, Gary, James and Kauntes, were excellent workers. Gary was in charge and went over the plan with me in detail. He was able to troubleshoot a few issues and get the job done! All three of them were courteous and, without being asked, applied shoe coverings every time they entered the house. They cleaned up after themselves. Gary kept me apprised of their progress. We had this recent cold snap in Pinellas and my house got really cold! I was turning the heat on but it wouldnt warm up unless i put it on Emergency Heat. i knew this would really raise my electric bill so i called "cool aide" and fred called me right back.... after hours!!!!! He told me they were crazy busy with a lot of these calls since we dont usually use our heaters and he had me check a few things. He said... Im the owner and i will come out there if you like but if you want to save some money its likely a blown thermostat (after some testing he had me do on the phone) and said just go to home depot and replace that its an easy job and will cost you about 20 bucks. if that doesnt work we can come out but I hate to charge you for something you can probably do yourself! He was spot on I put in a new thermostat for $22 and its working like new! Its nice to see someone who is honest and willing to help someone when they know I dont really need a hundred dollar house call. I WILL be a lifetime customer when I need service !!!
