I am requiring about about a good faith $200 deposit I made on June 5th for what I was told was needed to reschedule a repair. Well, another service person came on June 23rd to fix the issue. But, the new repairman stated no work was necessary, it was an error. I appreciate the honesty. He said it was up to his supervisor to put in refund. Now, I would like my $200 deposit back. I don't understand why I am not being contacted or refunded about this issue.

I called them and Ashley who works in the office st up an appointment for me right away, she was spectacular professional courteous and reassuring. Then Deatrick who is the Project Manager came out he was extremely professional thorough and explained everything from how long the new install would take, spoke to me about financing. Dearick is the man!!!! He knows his stuff inside and out!! And finally, a day later the 2 technicians came out, the job took a little longer that 5 and a half hours. The 2 technicians (Tyler and London) were outstanding. Courteous polite and most importantly they did an exceptional and outstanding job. Seven years ago, we got the top-of-the-line train AC units for our home. Well, they kept delaying it and the AC unit in the main Rooms stop working because of water back up in the condensation tube. They could not come out right away, so I called another service to do so they came out that night. A month or so later I hired that same company to do the routine maintenance and they found that there was a leak in the evaporator coil. Since I bought the unit from Pinnelas, I agreed to have them come out and repair the unit. They sent a young man and an older gentleman, and the young man who was new did the work while the older gentleman stayed down in the garage and yelled up to him on what to do. The price was over $2700. But when they did not show up on the Saturday that they were supposed to they came the following Monday and offered a 10% discount on the work. The next day my wife was getting ready to leave to go to the airport and looked up in the ceiling, and there was a large wet spot. Turns out their new recruit did not connect something properly and water leaked all over the floor of the attic and then ultimately put a large spot in our kitchen . They did come out that day and acknowledge that it was their problem and they took pictures and said they would contact us to have a contractor come and paint the ceiling when dry. They were supposed to call us last Friday to have a contractor come out. I never did. They didn't call Monday and I called them and ask them what the problem was. They did not call Tuesday and finally on Wednesday a customer service rep called and said they would have to get approval to do so. my wife explained to them that Christian already approved it and only then did she acknowledged that OK we have a painter. Come out and appraise the job. First I would like to say that the train units that I purchased have continuously let us down. Every time Pinnelas comes out they find something else wrong. We've spent thousands of dollars on top of the warranty to have various things done including surge protectors, which cost well over $1000. I would suggest shopping around if you are looking for a quality air conditioner replacement. The company that came out in their place was called apostle I understand there may be staffing issues and the company bought out the original company and I really don't know who's in charge there anymore. I would definitely shop around if you were looking for a replacement AC unit or maintenance.

I had 2 new units installed. One unit died 1 month after install. Instead of replacing it they took random used pieces and parts to get it running. ever since the thing sounds like a jet engine. Christian said if you want it replaced you have to call Trane. We won't do it. Awesome customer service there. Imagine buying a new car, it dies after a month and the dealer says call the manufacturer. Ridiculous! The other unit they forgot to put an overflow switch on and the thing destroyed my ceiling with overflow water. I'm still awaiting a repair. And that's after dozens and dozens of calls and the whole time them acknowledging its their fault. These units have had too many issues to list. I have the maintenance contract for 1 more year (not that it does any good) then I'm finding a reliable an honest company. This one is a joke

He gave me a business card and I then called the next day to arrange for an appointment. I was very accommodating to their schedule and was given a date of May 14, between 1-5pm. I adjusted my schedule and made sure I was home. At 3pm....I received a call that an emergency came up and no one is going to show. I was displeased that I had to adjust my schedule, but I understood....it happens. I thought maybe they would make good and I would be the first person the next day....fat chance. I was given May 27, between 830am-noon and that I would first up. Again, I adjusted my schedule and made sure I was home.....however, at 10am, another phone call to me stating another emergency had come up and they won't be able to make it.....wanting to reschedule again. Of course, I was upset and without using foul language questioned their customer service and reliability. I was put on hold for a few seconds, then an male subject responded, asked my name, told me to have a good day and hung up. That being said, they may do good work or not, as Hudson Air has poor customer service and reliability issues. Buyer beware.

I've been a loyal customer of Momentum for years, but unfortunately, I must revise my 5-star review…read moreto a 1-star review due to questionable and unnecessary practices involving Freon charges. On one of my properties in St. Pete, the technician took pressure readings on a unit that was frozen--due to the tenants running it at 67 degrees in June. Later that day, the technician returned and "charged" the unit with Freon. However, during a follow-up inspection nearly two months later by a different technician, no leaks were found in the line set or coils, and the pressure readings were still normal. This was particularly troubling given that the unit, a Carrier system, was installed just 10 months prior with a full inspection. I initially chalked this incident up as an anomaly. But then it happened again. At another property in Tampa, I called for a simple condensate line flush, and once more, I was told the unit might "need" a Freon charge. This was absurd, as the unit had been functioning perfectly, holding temperature with no issues for months. When the rep called to discuss diagnostics, I made it explicitly clear that the conversation about Freon was premature and unnecessary. Yet, within minutes, they called back with a quote for a Freon charge. I agreed to discuss the matter, but at no point did I authorize the charge. Despite this, the company proceeded without my clear consent. Momentum was quick to provide recordings of subsequent calls to argue their case, yet suspiciously reluctant to share the initial call, where it was clear I did not approve any Freon charge. After years of entrusting Momentum with multiple properties, it's disheartening to see them resort to such deceptive practices. They are personable and persuasive over the phone, but it's clear they are taking advantage of their customers. I can no longer recommend Momentum, and I urge others to proceed with caution. ** UPDATE 3/24/2025** I strongly advise against doing business with Momentum. Recently, I discovered that they sent a fake invoice to a collections agency, which included duplicated charges that I never authorized. What makes this situation worse is that Momentum never contacted me directly about these additional charges, and instead, the next thing I knew, I was being contacted by a collections agency about an invoice that had already been paid. I have the original invoice that shows everything was paid in full, and yet this company still attempted to charge me again and escalate it to collections without any prior notice. I am now dealing with the repercussions of this error, and I have been forced to take legal action to resolve this situation. Momentum's lack of communication and disregard for accurate billing practices is unacceptable. I highly recommend that others avoid this company to prevent similar issues.

The first service call was…read moreperformed a week or two ago, but I was consulted about replacing a part that still worked, which I chose not to, although the units parts were still under warranty. He could have replaced them for the service charge but didn't and what do I know about air conditioner parts? Then, shortly, this is in June, the early days of summer. another AC failure on a Saturday night. Calling in a service request was met with a full mail box. I called first thing Monday morning and wasn't able to talk to somebody for 30 minutes for the service call which didn't arrive until late in the afternoon, where it was pronounced the part another part had failed, and that he would get the previously injured part to replace that too. The part he did replace cost $192, for a unit guaranteed for 10 years (still under warranty). By the way, you don't get to see the invoice until you pay it. He returned Tuesday and replaced the previously injured part, charged $160 for the service call, the system blew cold over night and failed the next morning. He came back the next day and replaced the dryer, and charged me $569.00 (not itemized although a dryer was replaced) for almost a couple of hours work, tops. Well comes the following Saturday night, and it failed again. The same tech did all this. He is rude, his pants hang down below his ass, he was speaking to some woman on cell in speaker mode almost the whole time he was working, and to justify the price he said to the effect that I live in a nice house and he lives in a shack; is that like white privilege or something. I don't know. I guess that Bart has retired and is no longer involved with the company or the market allows for bad service and he just does not care. I requested a working AC on the system I purchase 7 years ago whose compressor was already replaced once and I pay a semi annual fee to be maintained. The quality was trash, and there was no value in being inconvenienced, and the astonishing claim from that technician that he as performed a valuable service for the value of the money I paid. I pay for protection, but the providers are incompetent.

We were with several other AC companies...ALL OF WHOM over-sold us on products we didn't need…read more(because they worked on commissions!)...and their products were not even installed properly. This company does NOT have their employees working on a commission basis...and they are extremely honest as well as very knowledgeable. You can even select fro the same person to service you as needed. Do not look anywhere else.
