This place is good for what it's worth. The reasoning is two-fold. They have all the mainstream labels you can ask for, and a good amount of craft beer labels that are sold in bodegas, and restaurants. However, what you won't find are the obscure labels that beer nerds look specifically for. That wont happen here though I'm sure you can ask them to order it for you, however it is a good destination to gather what you might need for a BBQ or get together on the fly, if you don't require spirits or liqueurs. Also, prices are on par with stores. So you're getting convenience over price. If this happens to be in your neighborhood, this is a good spot to check out for your craft beer needs.

Me and my cousin came in right before closing, while being stared down so we can choose our beer faster we decided to choose Goose Island Matilda 6 pack. It was the last one on the shelf. As we were about to pay all we had was a $100 bill so we gave it to the young kid behind the cash register. After a few seconds he asked us if we had anything smaller and we said no, at that moment he started cursing under his breathe in spanish calling us names while he gave us change. We noticed the beer was a bit dusty while he was gathering our change so we asked him is the beer expired or good, we checked the date and it was marked may 2017. We did not know how long a beer like this lasts so we asked him if its still good and he looked at the date and said yes its good so we took the beer home. After freezing the beer for a few minutes since it was hot when we got it we decided to open one each and pour it in the glass. It smelled like fermented wine and tasted like rotted wheat or barley. Never going to buy from this place again. It sucks that this is the only beer distributor in the neighborhood at the moment but this is what we have to deal with. Expired beer and cursing in spanish. what a shame. Rude staff!

    Freakin awesome!

Mediocre beer selection complemented by amazing rude staff. Looking forward to their eventual gentrification out of the neighborhood

It has a 90s bar flair with about 4 booths, and 3 tables. Theres more seating in the back outdoor but it was closed, so its very spacious but was full bc of the holiday. I shared the mezcal mai tai which was super strong and tried my friends' tequila swizzle which was lighter. I then opted to get the apple sangaree, I highly recommend this drink it was too good. Happy hour is 4-7 Monday to Friday btw. You get a $1 off of drinks (normally $12-14) or $11 frozen, sangrias and daiquiris.

Nice little place, cool vibe good music , service was good as our waiter seemed attentive , prices are not terrible normal these days to have drinks coast about $12-14 . This place was good for enjoying some decent drinks, hanging back & just chilling with your friends.

Since we live in the area, my Fiancee and I pass this place almost daily. As part of our Bi-weekly…read moreAdult-only weekend, we decided to do a Saturday Night date night and popped in here for the second stop on our neighborhood bar crawl. Suffice it to say, since I've moved back to Brooklyn after 20 years in Queens I've been YEARNING for a place like this. If you're truly GROWN & SEXY (physically & mentally) this is the place for you. I've read the other reviews and I have to agree: 1. Judgement-free zone - No posing, no wallflowers, no tons of Nicki/Cardi look-a-likes, No thirsty vultures. Personally I get tired of going to places where people have hidden agendas to snatch your significant other from under your arm, so it was refreshing to not feel that. We were free to be us, drink, mingle, and dance without our spidey-senses on fleek. People are here to have a good time. THE CROWD IS REAL. 2. Good/Cheap drinks - I had 3 Glutenberg Red Ales and my lady had 3 spiked rum punches. Plus I bought a drink each for 2 ladies that were dancing with my Fiancee and I. Total bill was $67, which averages to a little over $8 per drink. Typically I spend $150-200 at other clubs/lounges for the same amount of drinks and less buzz. AFter our 3 drinks each, we were good! KPH DRINKS ARE ON POINT. 3. Electic Music - We walked in to the DJ playing old school R&B. Throughout the night the DJ hit us with more old school R&B, Hip-hop, Soul, New School Rap, some Reggae and Afrobeats. The diverse music selection kept people guessing what was spinning next. We vibed out to the tunes and at a point I serenaded my Fiancee and danced in a circle surrounded by her and some other ladies. If you're looking for the same DJ with the same playlist, this is NOT the place for you, but if you're looking to take a trip down memory lane to simpler times, THE MUSIC IS THE MESSAGE Other things we liked: 4. No cover charge-free ninety-nine is the best price 5. No Security Guard-People are there to have a good time, not to fight. It was refreshing not to have a big and burly bouncer at the door. 6. Plenty of seating - They have long leather couches and little round seats. We could have rested, but our dancing feet wouldn't let us. LOL 7. Attentive bartender - I did not have to wait long for our drinks. The bartender was constantly scanning the bar for waiting customers 8. The DJ - If you're old school, you know who DJ Cut Creator is. Yeah he was the DJ that night. That said... If love is a house, our new house is Kingston Public House! We can't wait until our next date night/neighborhood bar crawl.

Let's start with the good - the service and ambiance were on point. I went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. It was busy inside, but since I was a solo diner I was seated immediately by the bar. The servers were friendly and attentive. Probably 3-4 different people checked in multiple times throughout the meal. Where I struggle is with the actual burger itself. As a non-resident New Yorker, for me $22.50 is a lot to spend on a burger and fries. It needs to rock my world at that price point. And it just didn't. I got the B&B Burger. The onion ring tasted like it had been refried a second time to make my burger. The bread was crumbly like it was on the verge of going stale. The actual beef patty itself was decent - good flavor. Usually I can overlook an okay burger if the fries are top notch, but these fries were under-seasoned and also 'just okay'. I also got a side of Chicken Tenders. These were good - no complaints here. I really wanted to like this spot, but not sure this would be a return visit for me.

My friend was as turned off as me due to what happened (read my previous review) and he headed for the proverbial "Hills". This left me solo and hungry. I started walking northwest knowing I'd find something pretty good. Low and behold Brooklyn Burger and Beer looked like just what I wanted, so I walked in, grabbed a stool at the bar and jumped into their menu. What a difference a 1/2 mile makes! This place was perfect and its menu was choke full of bargains and bonuses. This place was cute; I mean the bar was front and center and was very impressive but the table seating was charming too. Their lunch menu has a great "build your on burger" which i had a blast doing: Burger Cheddar Cheese Bacon Grilled onions Lettuce Tomato Mayo / BBQ con The service was exceptional, the ambience was very "Taverny [sic]" and my lunch was delicious!

As I said before, this is a community spot. Everyone here is relaxed, having a long, leisurely, European style meal. I had a small board, chef's choice. I requested a fromage board, but got a charcuterie board . . . and that's okay, as I was lucky enough to get some tasty prosciutto. The cheeses ranged from chunky and savory to creamy to tangy. Went great with the honey and French bread. Most menu cocktails are average, but there is an "off the menu" selection you can ask for (mostly bourbon based, owner/bar tender creations). I enjoyed working with my server to get try some more unique choices. Between the charcuterie board, the bourbon drinks, and the boeuf bourguignon, the meal was great. I will say the boeuf bourguignon wasn't quite as wowing as last time . . . no pearl onions or carrots . . . but still good. I'm pretty sure the menu has changed or is maybe smaller. But no matter . . . the mood and the welcoming atmosphere and lack of crowds makes up for this. I think I might return and try the French onion soup. I'm sure it's killer.

Our waitress came over to check on us numerous times throughout dinner. The foie gras was under seasoned and didn't taste like much of anything. Both the beef and chicken were very homey dishes but yet again, under seasoned. The mashed potatoes could use more butter and some salt in the food would've made all the difference. The place itself is pretty cute with a lot of local artwork. We probably won't be back
