The bread was fresh and had a slight sweetness that I actually liked, but overall it was not anything I'd order again. My husband ordered the 6PM in Tuscany, which was around $26. Unfortunately, his sandwich was missing several of the listed ingredients. We hadn't requested any modifications, so after tasting it, we actually checked the menu again because something seemed off. The chicken cutlet had no crunch, the sandwich was bland, and was just missing so much he didn't even finish it. I really wanted to love this place because of all the great reviews I had seen. Maybe we caught the Coral Gables location on an off day, but between the service and the food not matching what was listed on the menu, this visit was unfortunately a disappointment. I genuinely wish Jholano's well, but based on the experience we had a couple of Sundays ago, I wont be rushing back.

Terrible service. Big attitudes solely from ignorance of difference. Last time I checked, this is the United States of America - not north Cuba. Stop behaving as if someone owes you a living, and price gauging to customers they don't personally care for for no reason other than the fact that they are different. It is such a pity when an hourly employee can ruin an experience and in turn destroy a businesses reputation. Do you know that the blonde fair skinned server tried to price gauge a side of white rice at $9.00???? Not even a bean or piece of chicken, just rice. I will never go back. Boycott Sunset bakery. We used Sunset Bakery to cater breakfast for our office retreat, and we were extremely impressed! Everything was exceptionally packaged, fresh, and absolutely delicious. You could really tell that a lot of care and attention to detail went into preparing our order. Even the little things were thoughtfully taken care of. The coffee came with individual cups neatly packaged in plastic, and all of the serving utensils were individually wrapped and ready to go. It made serving a large group so easy and convenient! Our entire team really enjoyed the food, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. 10/10 would recommend Sunset Bakery for any office event, meeting, retreat, or catering occasion! Truth be told there are not many traditional Jewish deli's left in South Dade so we are very lucky to have them. This is a family owned business that has been turning out great New York style sandwiches and deli items for many years. You all know how much I love local businesses and we really need to support great local businesses as much as possible. One particular item they have on the menu which is not found in many places is their deli style Tongue Sandwich. Yes I know it sounds weird but it is absolutely delicious and very hard to find. Most of their food items such as their soups and slaws are for the most part home made on premises which means they are always fresh. The service and atmosphere as you can imagine is true to form, a little noisy with everyone talking and enjoying their food and the servers really do a great job of getting things going for you as quickly as possible. On this occasion, I ordered the vegetable soup and the hot pastrami sandwich, piled high with awesome pastrami. As expected, it was excellent and very fresh. Outside of the menu, make sure to checkout the specials on the white board on the main wall, as they always have some items that are not on the menu on that board. Parking should not be a problem as they are located in a strip mall on US1 and their tends to be plenty available; however, they do get busy on weekends and lunch time so plan accordingly.
