I hadn't had a spray tan in a long time and the woman at the front desk was so helpful! She explained the procedure to me, what she recommended as far as the type of tan and how dark I wanted to be, and even did extra research to check if there were any deals she could offer me to save me money. She was very patient with my questions and while she suggested items behind the counter that I could buy, I didn't feel pressured to purchase anything. I purchased the primer lotion (~$6) per recommendation, simply because my short amount of time left no room for streaky errors. I did not end up with a streaky tan, as promised! While I only saw the front half of the store and the spray tan room, it was clean and organized. There are small towels to use in the spray tan room and they supply barrier cream. I can't speak for the UV tanning booths, but I'm happy with my spray tan booth experience!

Who does that? When I first came to do my laundry, I asked the attendant where the coin exchange is, and she asked me multiple times if I was here to do laundry. I had my laundry sitting inside of the washer just waiting to be started. The attendants don't know how to talk to people and are very rude in tone. There are MORE washers and dryers that are out of order than there are ACTUAL working ones. They lock both entrances after last call making it impossible to get inside when you already have clothes that are finished washing or drying. Overall just a very poorly ran place. I only come here because it's really close to where I live. I literally try to just get in and get out. Otherwise, I would avoid this place.

You can find NuLa nestled in off the main busy strip of North Water, which is a perfect little hideaway for this nail studio. We walked in and were ushered in immediately to sit down and relax!
