This isn't normal wear and tear--it's simply poor craftsmanship and cheap materials. For a premium-priced product, this level of quality is completely unacceptable. I'd recommend bringing just your phone and a credit card, or simply using Apple Pay. The shopping experience itself was well organized. Clothing was sorted by size, making it easy to browse and find items quickly. I don't think this was Eclipse's fault, but it seemed like PopFlex rotated merchandise throughout the week-long sale. My friend visited the day after I did and found skirts and swimwear, whereas my shopping day featured mostly black leggings, onesies, sherpa jackets, and denim jeans. Keep in mind is that you'll want to shop efficiently because the checkout line moved quite slowly. There were only two cashiers working, which created a bottleneck once people were ready to purchase. I ended up buying four items and there is additional discounts offered when you purchased 8+ pieces so my cousin and I combined our pieces. As for parking, the event advertised that the first two hours were free at 123 S. Robertson Blvd, but I was definitely charged by the hour. Overall it was still good to check out the sample sale. If I lived closer, I probably would have returned for another visit, but the drive out to West Hollywood is a bit of a trek for me.

The cherry on top is that the prices were awesome and beat all online prices I found, including costco believe it or not. They had a wide selection to fit all price ranges. You can either make an appointment if you have a designated associate at the store or do a walk-in. The latter you'll need to get into a line and check in with an associate before entering. They then assign you someone to work with during your shopping period. The gentleman I was assigned to showed me all of the stock they had remaining for the Murakami collection, which was mostly accessories and a limited amount of apparel. I did try the swimwear on and liked the one piece more than the two piece swim. I had to pass though, due to them not having my size available in store. The associate kindly suggested I try ordering it online as I could try it and return all online orders. (In store sales are final or can be exchanged only.) In terms of parking, I like picking one of the public lots like the one by Crate and Barrel and walking.

I was gifted one for Christmas and decided to have the hand painted monogramming done on it. I went back and forth with the associate, and even asked how long the paint lasts, does it chip, etc. She assured me the paint was sealed and she's never seen any issues with it. I assumed over time the paint may fade or chip, however mine started chipping a month later. I contacted them and sent pictures, and they agreed to refund the fee I paid to have it painted. However, now I have a bag with chipped initials that I don't like to use. I reached out again asking for suggestions to remove the paint myself and they said it was permanent. Obviously not? Disappointing experience and I would not suggest ruining your bag with the hand painted monogramming service.

It was very expensive, but we thought it was worth it for something that was supposedly good quality. We were a bit concerned about how easily it marked but decided just to be super careful with it as it looked so nice. However, shortly before the wedding it was necessary to iron the dress. We followed the instructions to the letter. After doing so, the dress was marked to the point of being unwearable. We contacted customer services who were not only slow to respond but "scientifically" deemed from a photograph that we were at fault in the way we had ironed the fabric. Case closed. No refund. My main issue with Marina Rinaldi is absolutely HORRIBLE online sales, I ordered on May 4, by May 16 I had absolutely no communication from the company on the status of my order when they say that they usually ship within 5 business days of online order, their East Coast customer service has no idea what the status of orders are, slow to ship, no ability to call their warehouse (?!), no online web sales supervisors around - ever, no communication with customers when items are back-ordered, don't bother buying from them as they are great at marketing and TERRIBLE at order fulfillment. It must also be terrible for the stores as they cannot find additional sizes to help their customers. I will not bother trying to buy this brand in future. They need to up their game in terms of visibility in the supply chain to match Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's and Amazon. If I want to spend over $1400 for 4 items, I expect to hear back on order status within 12 days. If they gave me information that the items will not be available or are backordered and should be available by X date, that is fine and I can make my decision to continue to wait or cancel the order. This kind of customer service is completely unacceptable these days.
