She was very friendly and polite and was very good at explaining things (how and why my jacket tore, different types of stitching used that can cause the issue, etc) I ended up sitting in her warm office (it was quite cold outside) while she stitched my jacket up. I came in a few years ago to get my prom dress shortened because it was too long and he said I didn't need to. Came in recently to get another dress altered because it was a tad big on me. He told me the dress was out of style+ altering it wouldn't change that fact. He then proceeded to tell me my boobs were not full enough to make the dress fit and the color was unflattering for my skin tone so I should just get an entirely different dress instead... ??? I really tried giving this guy a second chance but I thought those comments were really rude + uncalled for and I'm never going back there again after that. I went to ask if she can redo the inner lining of one of my coats since it was falling apart after years of wear and tear. I've done my fair share of research of other places and knew it would cost $$$. She also gave me an alternative, and said if I could get the lining myself, she would only charge me sixty dollars which includes the dry cleaning I requested. She was extremely helpful and told me which fabrics I should look for and how thick it should be. I went to a one of those fabric store and after some weeks of waiting for a sale, I got the fabric for a really great deal! I went back to her after several weeks and we had a mutual understanding that because she had a lot of work and since it was summer at that time, I was definitely in no rush to get my coat back and she could take her time. I recently picked it up and she did a fantastic job! I recommend going here for all your alteration needs. Excellent customer service and just a great person to work with. I can think of more of my clothing that could use some tailoring. :D

There was a little bit of a language barrier, and I wouldn't say she's the most jovial person b/c of the communication barrier, but she is extremely skilled at what she does so I was able to explain what I needed done, and she worked wonders. She removed layers of fabric making it lighter, but also more breathable. With one fitting she tailored it perfectly to my body. I almost couldn't believe it. I ended up taking it home and then realizing that I needed a little more security around the bust area. I brought it back, she did it and didn't charge me. She also adjusted the slit because it was a little too high for me. Overall, I would absolutely recommend going here. She's professional and extremely skilled, and that is what matters most.

The shop is extremely small and tight, but the ladies here do a good job. At times, their vibe could be interpreted as unfriendly, especially if you've never interacted with them, but don't take their curtness for rudeness. In no way does it look like their intention to be unfriendly, but it's just the way they operate - quick and to the point. In addition, they don't speak fluent English, so sometimes things can get lost in translation. If you DO need any type of alterations or clothing fixes, all you have to do is walk in, present to them what you need done and they'll take a look at it on the spot and let you know if it can or cannot be done. If whatever you need can be done, they'll fill out a receipt for you with the date you came in, what the work is and how much it might cost. When your clothing is ready, they'll give you a call and you can come in to pick it up. It's that easy or at least those were the experiences I had and each time was a replica of the previous. In addition, the pricing for their work was very reasonable as I called up a few tailoring shops for a quote and Sanita's always came out as the lowest or equivalent.
