It felt like I was the project manager all the time, following up on schedule, and then calling to verify. I had a feeling that the teams are split and everyone only does their job based on a scope and not as a team. Sometimes, I just want the truth on timing.... Bc Everytime I get a timing commitment, it's delayed and or no show and then also no updates. The project is still on-going with skirting, commissioning wasn't even done , painting of pipes/conduits... so will update accordingly. 8/6/26 : the team swiftly came the next day and finished painting and commissioning so I will add a star.

Solar Optimum EXCEEDED my expectations in every way. They have been awesome! The design team really got it right. They got through permitting efficiently. The install team took pride in their work, and it shows. And once installed getting it turned on with the SDG&E was relatively quick. Everyone was extremely professional and patient as I asked a million questions. Their price was more than fair as I found some places as much as 50% more, for the same products. Check around on same equipment to feel comfortable with pricing, but know that when it comes to design, permitting and quality install, Solar Optimum gets it right. All for what I found to be the best price. I never expected to be this satisfied with the process, and they fully deserve a "*****" rating. Well done.

First, they drilled a hole from the outside through the inside when they were installing our electric panel. Then we noticed in our attic that all of the rafters from the ridge board were all damaged. When we brought this to there attention they tried to blame us for it. We provided all the photo proof of the before and after damage and they still refused to pay for the damage. We ended up getting a lawyer and when we wrote out a demand letter the company completely ignored the demand and we have not heard from them since. They have caused over $75,000 worth of damage to our home that all will need to be replaced entirely to ensure the roof stays sturdy.

The biggest challenge wasn't even with the install, it was the city. They were really particular about not allowing my Tesla Powerwall 3 batteries to be installed inside my garage. I thought it was going to be a huge hassle, but Tim worked with the city and kept at it until they came up with a solution that got approved. He kept me updated the whole time and made what could have been a stressful process a lot easier. The install turned out great and everything is working exactly how it should. Everyone I dealt with was professional, easy to talk to, and actually cared about getting the job done right. Overall I'm really happy I went with Infinity Solar. The pricing was great, the service was excellent, and they didn't disappear when things got complicated with the city. Across the street, friends with solar and batteries had their lights on. Their kids were inside watching TV. Life looked normal. Meanwhile, I was packing up my family to leave our home. Rising electricity rates, AI data centers consuming massive amounts of power, and talk of double digit rate increases made going solar the right thing to do. I researched heavily. Built a spreadsheet. Interviewed over a dozen companies. Got bids through Energy Sage, cold called installers, and asked around for referrals. I wasn't looking for a sales pitch. I was looking for people I could trust with my home and my family's security. Infinity Solar felt different from the start. I didn't have to deal with brokers or middlemen to jack up prices. They are family owned, in business over 25 years, BBB A+ rated, and 5 stars on Yelp. Tim, the owner is a C10 licensed contractor, sets the tone for the entire company. His pride and commitment to doing things right shows up in every person on his team. Sara, our project manager, kept everything organized with clear, proactive communication. Blake handled the maze of permitting. If you've dealt with solar permitting in California you know what a mess it is. State, county, city, and fire department all with their own rules. Blake stayed on top of all of it so I didn't have to. Joel made sure the job site ran smoothly. The crew deserves real recognition: electricians Adrian, Ivan, Salvador, and Christian; roof lead Arni; installers Jose, Gabriel, Kieren, Israel, Erik, and Robert; and Deyvis helping with inspection. They showed up on time, worked hard, kept everything clean, and answered my endless questions without ever making me feel like I was in the way. Construction always has bumps. Permits get revised, inspectors want changes. What mattered was how Infinity handled it. Calmly, professionally, and without disappearing. Tim must be a good boss and take care of his people because this is a crew of highly skilled workers who take real pride in what they do. The day the system went live felt like a turning point. Our first outage was December 23rd while setting up for a Christmas party. Power was out over eight hours. The lights never flickered. I only knew because the app alerted me. Tim included a Solar Insure 30 year warranty covering panels, microinverters, wiring, and roof penetrations, including labor. It's backed by an A+ Superior rated third party insurer and is transferable if I sell my home. An installer's warranty is useless if they go out of business, so this gives real peace of mind. Because I verify everything, I called Solar Insure, Enphase, FranklinWH, and REC directly to confirm Infinity is a Premium or Platinum installer with each. They are. I'll break even in 8 years at current rates, sooner when rates keep climbing, and you know they will. But more than savings, it's peace of mind. When the grid goes down, our house doesn't. Infinity Solar gave our family back a sense of stability. I'm grateful we chose them.

They were always available to answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with our electricians whenever something came up. Because they knew our system inside and out, they were able to jump in quickly and help keep the project on track. Having that history with our home made a huge difference, and their professionalism and responsiveness took a lot of stress out of what was otherwise a complicated project -- all without having to break the bank. They are extremely fair with their pricing. It's one thing to do a good installation, but it's another to still be supporting your customers more than a decade later. That kind of long-term service is hard to find these days, and I'm incredibly grateful for everything Alan and Solar Wholesale Group have done for us. Highly recommend.

They sent Travis out promptly, who is their electrician where he found that the issue was resolved by replacing a faulty 40-amp breaker that was intermittently providing the necessary voltage, even though measurements initially appear correct. While the breaker issue caused real inconvenience and unexpected costs on my end, the owner was responsive and showed willingness to smooth things over to work toward a resolution. I also want to highlight that the panel upgrade and solar/battery installation itself was clean and well done. The workmanship that Eddie, Manny, Christian and Jamie performed had overall met my expectations, and once the issue was identified, Sunline did step in to correct it. No project is perfect, but how a company responds when problems arise matters a lot. In this case, Sunline's owner and Eric was engaged, responsive, and made a sincere effort to make things right. As an engineer, and after witnessing the symptoms and corrective actions firsthand, I believe the breaker issue was likely a manufacturing defect, and it was unfortunate that it occurred during the holidays. That said, based on how Sunline handled the situation, the overall quality of their work, and the value they offer, I would recommend them and plan to continue using them for future needs.

They sent me a new tracking app to join last year so I could share my system information with them, which leads me to believe they weren't tracking the system the way they said they would be. The data it shared is the same data I had already communicated with them.

I originally had a positive experience with California Solar Electric during my 10.12 kW solar and Powerwall 3 installation last year. Unfortunately, their post-install customer support and business ethics are nonexistent. I referred a friend who completed their installation months ago. I was explicitly promised a $500 referral bonus for this. After months of waiting, I tried following up multiple times privately to give them a chance to make it right, but I am now being completely ignored. It's a shame because I have several neighbors here in Fountain Valley who are currently shopping around for solar and battery storage. I was planning to refer them here, but I cannot recommend a company that fails to honor its own written agreements and ducks communication. Buyer beware: the installation team does good work, but do not trust a word management says about referral incentives or post-sale promises. Still waiting for my $500.

Air would be providing us with top-of-the- line equipment! Installation was scheduled and took place in less than a week. Shane and his crew were punctual, immediately set to work on removing the old, large heating system and outdoor unit, and worked tirelessly all day! We were constantly informed of each step - where the routing of tubing within the garage would be placed with attachment to the outside unit, and where its' location had to be, etc.. At completion, the system was tested, along with our Venstar thermostat - all functioned perfectly, and the property was left in impeccable condition! Thank you Efficient plumbing yet again for your service and timely installation. When we called my husband scheduled the plumbers Steve and Hector to come out the following day. They had a look at my water heater and determined it needed to be replaced. We had been wanting to get a new tankless water heater for quite some time but my husband wanted to wait until we were in need of replacing our current hot water heater tank. Steve gave us a quote for replacing our current 75 gallon water heater with a tankless Navien model that would go in our garage in the same place as our old water heater. The price was fair and we agreed to go with the work. Later that morning Efficient Plumbing ordered our tankless water heater, delivered it, removed our old water heater and installed the new tankless water heater for us. They did an amazing job with all the necessary modifications to make the conversion from tank to tankless and we were thrilled with the end result. We now have endless hot water that we once never had. Efficient Plumbing has once again came to our rescue when we have been in need of a plumber! They are the best plumbers and I will continue working with them on any future projects or improvements that we may need.

This is any homeowners nightmare and I called Efficient Plumbing right away. We have used them for many years and sadly this wasn't our first water leak. Evelin answered the phone and walked me through on how to shut the water off to the house immediately to stop the water damage. Hector came out within the hour and got to work diagnosing our issue. He is knowledgeable and very experienced and we always feel like we are in good hands. Our ceiling was opened and it turned out to be a copper pin hole leak on the water line in the ceiling above the dining room that feeds our master bathroom. Hector skillfully repaired the water leak and also advised us to consider a whole house repipe since this was not our first leak. They gave us their estimate the same day for the whole house repipe and even offered to credit the repairs made with Hector towards the repipe which was a big help. We decided to move forward and had them repipe our whole house the following week. They got it done in one day and everything went great! A few days later the drywall was patched up and we were all done! There are many many plumbers in our area but after years of consistent quality workmanship and customer service, I only use and trust Efficient Plumbing.

My story starts in 2022. The sales person was great. Knew exactly how to 'sell' a system. Shame on me for not educating myself further. July/August 2023, less than a year after my install, I called and complained about my electric bills being nearly $700.00 for two months, they informed me the inverter was bad and that they would repair. I asked for the credits and a check sent to me for the difference in average projected production and actual production for the months in question. September 2023 I spoke to someone in customer service and requested escalations. Never got a call, but a check was cut as a courtesy refund in the amount of $200.00 which arrived 60 days after the expiration of the check date. After months (years really) of frustration and anger with never hearing from someone, I finally get through. I have a roof leak caused by the install. A year after my initial call in January 2025, Isaac wants to sell me more equipment, which, I desperately need... but will not be getting from Sunrun, sends an email and miraculously someone is coming to check my roof. February 2026, and I am told the issue with my roof is not covered under my 24 year solar penetration warranty. I figured as much... why take ownership! I was told today (March 11, 2026) when I called to follow up with the roofing issue and request a temporary removal of the panels, it is going to cost ME approximately $300.00 PER PANEL to remove and restore. If I do not use their 'partner' Remy Roofing, then my warranty will be void. I am in property management and if I had ONE vendor that completes ALL THE WORK... I AM BEING SCREWED. And this is the case. I also asked for escalations today in hopes that someone can tell me more about my 2023 issue whereas my electricity bill from NV Energy was $1,800.00 and when I called in 2023 to request a refund of my monies, I was told that she, Tania, was unable to see billing information but would have someone look into it and reissue IF POSSIBLE. I again asked for escalations and was told that "escalations managers may or may not call back. When they can, they typically will save time and email." And that "the company is built on the customer receiving the most knowledgeable assistance with the agent, rather than a supervisor/manager." Stating "she uses the system more and frequently takes calls therefore she knows more than the manager." So much more to say... but this is the shortest I can make this. From 2023 to present year, there have been no notes of the 17 calls I made to them. It took a live person trying to sell me more crap from this crooked company to get anything moving. The system is under production. Then we find out 2 years later that there is a ton of roof damage from the solar contractor. I tried to contact them and get no answer even after leaving a lot of messages.

I got a great Enphase installation from Solar-Tec and Ian Christie was just great in sizing…read moreproperly my system. I purchased my system and nobody else could beat the price. And Ian gave me an additional break when the local municipality was late in approving the project and the State of California credit had moved down one notch. The resulting system is performing at 102% of the maximum calculated by the federal government tools for my area, PVWatts (pvwatts.nrel.gov), which simply says that the installation is just PERFECT, and maximizes the efficiency. I was able to generate a chart from Pvoutput.com that shows the current consumption vs. production, which at this time of year is between 65% and 85% in Redondo Beach. During summer that number exceeds 100% and I am pushing energy into the grid. I do have a LOT of computer equipment and 5 plasma displays, so my daily consumption has easily exceeded 30kWh per day. Having solar has taken me down from Tier 5 to Tier 1 with Southern California Edison, resulting in huge savings. I just switched from and older Mac Pro server (I have an home office) to the newer Mac Pro, and now I am able to push energy to the grid on a daily basis. As a result I will be able to pay back my solar system in less than 4 years. I did a LOT of research before selecting the best system and best company with Enphase and Solar-Tec.

The installation was finally completed four months ago, but the owner of the company has refused to complete the application for the electric utility--SDGE-- to recognize the system. I have left endless messages for the owner, who doesn't have the courtesy to even respond, much less justify his inactivity. I have never dealt with such a dishonest and despicable company. I now have to take them to court to get them to do a simple task. Avoid these people like the plague.

SunPower is Top Tier in performance. I've had my experience with a previous dealer than went out of business, but we won't get into those details. Synrg Solar / Sean Demarinis you are dealing with Sunpower. Synrg/Sean Demarinis is to the point and will get your Solar System spec'd out to your needs. Installation will be completed by Sunpower Employees not a sub-contractor. Throughout this process Synrg Solar / Sean will keep you updated on your progress in regards to updates on parts and city permits. We met Sean in Oct/Nov 2022. After many discussions and price comparisons, nobody came close to Synrg Solar/Sean pricing. We signed the documents and were set to go forward. Installation took 1 day for 15 panels. Sunpower crew started 7am and completed by sunset. My system is a little different than others. This is an additional solar system (2 Solar Systems) on my residence with 2 Tesla Batteries. Cash purchase which will give you the cheapest price quote. There were some little issues in regards to monitoring due to the 2 seperate solar systems, but was all rectified. You can always go directly to Sunpower by calling the 1-800 numbers, but I cannot guarantee you'll get personalized service updates of your project as I did with Synrg Solar/ Sean. I wanted this system in-place up and running before NEM 3.0 took effect and also take advantage of the Federal tax credit of 30% . I give Synrg Solar 5 stars for the service that was provided. After months of delay due…read moreto permitting and weather (outside of SunPower's control), my 28 solar panel and 4x Tesla gen2 Powerwall setup was finally commissioned and online as of May 11th, 2023. Everything turned on and worked, I am beyond ecstatic! I now have plenty of solar panels and battery, with 11.5 KW of peak solar, and 4x Tesla gen2 Powerwalls at 54 KWH of energy storage to power my Tesla and everything in the house. The only miscommunication was when I checked the critical battery load list, they didn't put my mini-split AC / heater on it initially. When I complained about it the manager said they usually don't put air conditioning on backup uploads to protect the Tesla Powerwall batteries. I explained that before the solar project started I installed an energy efficient mini-split AC / Heater system that has slow soft start capability and is battery friendly, and confirmed with the engineer who installed the mini-split AC system, as well as SunPower's engineer. I have plenty of sun and battery power to operate this AC system, the math works out. SunPower by Precis then came back a month later to change the backup load, free of charge. Now everything is working perfectly and I can charge my Tesla with the power of the sun and power the entire house, including mini-split AC / heater, and be unaffected by extended power outages. If you install battery friend mini-split AC systems, and want it on the backup load, just make sure you communicate that clearly ahead of time with their engineers and ensure it gets added to the critical backup loads sheet with their managers/installers because putting AC on critical battery backup is non-standard, especially not the traditional HVACs that have a large spiky startup current that's really bad for batteries.
