We also elected to become "partners" with Pepco and Solar handled all that paperwork too. We get a nice not-so-little check every quarter for the SRECs that our system produces. Also they said I needed a new roof and the $4,000 would be financed through their companion company called Goodleap for 20 years. The cost for these was $52 monthly for the panels and $100.00 monthly for the roof for 20 years. Recently found out the $100.00 monthly for the roof is only the interest payment and at the end of the 20 years I will still owe $4,000.00 plus more ibterest.
